  1. Thank you kindly, a lot of people seem to be fond of Draculad lol. And I used civitai that someone had mentioned earlier. I can't get it to go for certain styles as far as I found outside of the different model filters but it seems pretty easy to use.
  2. This was my first time messing around with AI stuff in general on kind of lazy afternoon. Had some good results, and some not so good results. Trying to figure out how to do my parameters better as I struggled with what I thought would be the easier characters and the more non linear ones seemed to come out well right away. We have Snow-Dragon, an Ice/MA dom, Draculad, a Mind/Savage dom, and Alpha Animal, a Beasts/Poison MM.
  3. Here's my current fun project, Son of Surtur, a Fire/Earth dom. The look and powersets match so well in my opinion. Just waiting to get to the fire epic pool.
  4. I'd like to point out that you're making a pretty disingenuous comparison. Arctic Air you have to survive in melee range and all the perils that come with that, especially on certain controller combos without mez protection. Arsenal control can do this all from range. We had a more interesting version with the sleep patch that made the set "The patch control set" until people complained Sleep Grenade's pulse didn't make sense with the dots in the set.
  5. Well that sucks to see the devs caved in on making Sleep Grenade a standard sleep. Just add the AoE immob at this point to make the set as bland as possible and get it over with.
  6. No, didn't realize they had changed that. Nobody really takes Flash Freeze to make that much of a difference.
  7. It stacks -to hit debuffs, while also giving solid -damage, -recharge. Smoke Canister is entirely unique to this set, no other powers operates like it in the game at the moment, same for Liquid Nitrogen only damaging non sleeping enemies. I agree I'd like to see it's damage upped to make the no mass immob=bad crowd happy, but I feel like people are just saying stuff to say stuff at this point.
  8. So Smoke Cannister is pretty different from those powers despite being a confuse as well. It doesn't alert enemies when deployed, but it doesn't trigger the patch to start confusing until you aggro the group. I have it slotted mainly as a to hit debuff but it still confuses multiple targets no problem. I think the way you're engaging the -to hit and perception is causing only a small portion of the mob to be aggroed. I start with smoke and then immediately go into flashbang or sleep, followed by liquid nitrogen so the whole mob is aggroed everytime.
  9. I should have noticed that. There's even less of an arguement that the aoe sleep doesn't belong then. It fits the set perfectly fine.
  10. Actually after thinking some more if you're that worried about how the sleep plays with the rest of the set, why not just remove the damage aspect of liquid nitrogen? It'd be like old school ice slick. Enemies would either be falling from the ice slick or slept by the sleeping grenade if you stacked them. And I've not really noticed the damage aspect of liquid compared to everything else once slotted so I'd be happy to give it up.
  11. I have no problem with them swapping the st hold with the aoe sleep. Tranq needs to have its' damage increased. It should be right behind Gravity, Illusion, Mind in ST damage. Make the hold have a minor slow and take slow sets for more procability. As for the enemies escaping the patches, I haven't had that problem. Everything is dead long before liquid nitrogen runs out. Flashbang is extremely proccable, people have been doing the same with the sleep as well although I haven't messed with that. So with enough recharge you have 2 proc bombs that are up every fight. You have an aoe stun, aoe sleep, and aoe hold to set up containment at the start of fights. Does it really need an AoE immob? I rather like that it's a different feeling control set and would hate for that to disappear.
  12. Seriously, not every set needs an AoE immobilize. Just buff up the numbers a bit. I'd hate for it to lose some of its' uniqueness just for "an easy fix".
  13. I don't mind not having a mass immob on it. It's nice having a new set more rely on soft mitigation from the enemies trying to run out. I didn't seem to have problems with them making it out of patches after liquid nitrogen. That being said, if it's not going to have an aoe immob, it needs to be one of the more damaging sets to make up for lack of aoe containment. Flashback is a proc bomb, but tranq needs it's damage numbers fixed to be in line with the st immobs from other sets if not higher. Give Cro Ray a minor slow and allow it to take slow sets so Arsenal could have it's niche as the proc damage set. And if we could have the grenade toss animation for some of the aoe control powers so our heroes could feel more sciencey themselves and less this is my science gun.
  14. Fly-Boy, MA/SR scrappers, the martial arts animations while hovering look awesome.
  15. I've always wanted to play widows but the lack of claw options really bothered me. Then out of nowhere those small spiked gloves widows start with began making me think about caestus. Then came a really fun idea for me, The Golden Gladiator...A Might Widow. I'm even thinking about taking the presence pool to stack with the fear ato and unrelenting.
  16. Bane is something I've tried to get into several times but shelved. After looking for some builds I saw most of them were over a year or two old but one was interesting. It included single shot, burst, and the grenades from soldier over the starting mace attack and blast. Now with the redraw changes do people mix in the soldier powers or do they still build strictly mace and how do you build your bane?
  17. Last one for a while and I promise I'll stop spamming this thread. I've tried numerous times making a vampire character and get bored long away but for some reason had the idea of making a teenage vampire and somehow the name Draculad was available so he's now my Mind/Savage dom project.
  18. New costume for Sting Raider, really happy with how turned it turned out and first toon I've really used that helmet on.
  19. Another fun one; Sting Raider, combination of Sting-Ray and Black Manta, Water/Ninja Blaster that is pretty fun to play.
  20. Been a while since I posted. This is Rad Chamber, a fun little mash up of Chamber, Zeitgeist, and Omni-Man inspired costume of all things. I really like how the jacketed version turned out.
  21. On live I played nothing but controllers or defenders but on Homecoming defenders have become my favorite AT by a mile. I've spent more time on homecoming playing defenders than I have all the other ATs combined I reckon but recently I rolled a Traps/Storm defender with a theme in mind and since I hadn't see one in the wild. Oh my god. It's insanely safe. You get a ton of soft control, AoE damage, and great debuffs. It's a little low on the ST damage but that's okay. At level 27 I usually start IOing out my toons and this one is the toon I've been able to start bumping the difficulty towards 0x6 already with only about 20 mil put into IOs. I'm sure on teams it might be considered a little slow, both have a more over time playstyle but solo it's a buzz saw. Does anyone else have any weird combinations that performed better than people thought they would or feel like an overlooked gem?
  22. Hey, just wanted to say you inspired me to create my own villainous serpent: The Killer Cobra, Claws/Ninja, everything he does looks evil in motion, it's awesome, so thank you 🙂
  23. The Man-Bog, Plant/Thorn/Leviathan Dom, a pairing I've tried a thousand times and abandoned but this one I've really enjoyed.
  24. Need help with Technicutioner. A punisher style character who uses an electrified mace. His first two costumes are more street level executioner but I decided I really wanted to lean into the electric mace. Inspired by the Spider-Man character Cardiac, the backpack generator sends the current to the gloves, and the gloves electrify the mace but for some reason the face bothers me. Only request I have to use is either of the two maces shown.
