  2. Singy likes to stay at range. Getting him buffed by fulcrum shift is challenging.
  3. What happens if you don't fire Disruption Arrow (and don't light Oil Slick)? Alternatively, what happens if you unslot the -res proc (and don't light Oil Slick)? Curious if you need both -res to get the kb or if just one will do it. Either way, I would report it as a bug.
  4. I took a Ninja/Poison to 50 back on live. It was painful, but I think I just wanted to say I had done it. I also had an Ice/TA controller. Before they buffed Jack. Couldn't solo worth a damn but sure could control everything in sight. Was a bit better after picking up the epic attacks.
  5. Unslotted it does 125.12 dmg (half as DOT) in a 15-foot radius. Atom Smasher does 96.97 dmg in a 10-foot radius.
  6. Any changes made to Triage Beacon should also apply to Spirit Tree, which is functionally identical.
  7. I've soloed it many times and never required more than a few purples and maybe a break free. I just soloed it on a cold/beam defender. Should be a piece of cake on a tank. The trick is to pull the EBs (individually) into the other room and around the corner. I also try to take out the portals on the near side of the bridge before engaging the EBs.
  8. Anybody can solo the Honoree mission. It requires some strategy and a few inspirations.
  9. In keeping with the munitions theme, how about replacing Body Armor with Force Field Generator (scaled appropriately) and LRM with Seeker Drones. My feeling on LRM is that blasters don't need another ranged AoE attack. It should really be part of another set.
  10. Rad has a huge hole to cold damage. I hadn't realized the BP had so much of it.
  11. Try fighting Banished Pantheon in DA missions.
  12. It's a 2 minute duration and a 1 minute recharge, so you can already keep it up on more than one target. I'm not sure there's a need to cast this on anyone other than melee types, so an AoE might be challenging if you cast this before engaging.

    Ground Zero is a mini-nuke. Slot it for damage.
  14. I've got one and really like it. This is my current build (no purples yet). I recently changed the slotting on Tenebrous Tentacles to load it with 4 procs and have been really happy with the result.
  15. If I'm interpreting this correctly, the damage is direct while the holds are via six pseudo pets (only showing one below). Do the Targeted AOE set procs have a chance to fire more than once? Do the hold set procs only have a chance to fire when each pseudo pet is summoned? (Note, I changed the display to show lvl 50 numbers, but the character is only lvl 28.)

  17. On my MA/Inv I have it slotted in Cobra Strike. It goes off pretty regularly. On my Rad/Rad I have it slotted in Ground Zero. While GZ has an admittedly long recharge and is likely losing me some DPS, it allows me to run into a big group and hit Fusion > Ground Zero > (proc) > Atom Smasher. This leaves nothing standing but a boss or two at low health. I can repeat this about every 40 seconds.
  18. My main and namesake (a MA/Inv scrapper) was the first character I made back in 2004. Remade him for HC after it became clear the servers weren't going to be wiped.
  19. On a team, the amount of carnage a blaster can put out far exceeds a scrapper. I don't bother trying to soft cap defense and am happy with a mix of moderate defense and resistance. I'm generally careful not to aggro more than I can kill or at least put on their backs. Fire is a little tricky, as it doesn't provide any damage mitigation. My blasters are Ice and Dark, which helps in survivability. I don't solo my blasters much, and when I do its usually at +2/x4 or +3/x2.
  20. I'm not a min/maxer and none was intended. I prefer the defense armors on squishies. I've got ice armor on 3 and rock armor on 1. I'm leveling a cold defender and would have liked ice armor as a choice.
  21. I didn't spend a lot of time on the power choices. The first set is Ice Mastery (controller) with Ice Blast swapped out for Chilblain and Frost Breath and Ice Storm swapped out for Greater Ice Sword and Freezing Touch. The other set is Stone Mastery (controller) with Hurl Boulder swapped out for Stone Prison. It was more to show that the sets could be created from existing powers pretty easily.
  22. None of the epic power pools available to defenders or corruptors hero side include a defense-based armor. I'm aware that you can change alignment and do a patron arc to get scorpion shield and then change back, but blasters, controllers, dominators and masterminds don't have to go this route. All have access to frozen armor, and controllers also have access to rock armor. Would it be too much to ask that an ice/cold and/or earth/stone themed epic be cobbled together for defenders and corruptors?   24. I largely agree, except for the DA content. It was intended as incarnate content, but it fails. If you're +3, max level DA content will only be +1 to you. You should be able to fight mobs +2 or +3 to you, the same way you can anywhere else in the game. Telling me to remove my T3 or T4 slots is not a solution.
  25. I know you're giving a tongue in cheek response, but I'd like to see something done to MLTF. Before the snap, it used to be hard. Now it seems like any random team can do it under 30 minutes. Maybe part of the problem is speed runs at +0 (do the AVs still always spawn at 54 or do they adjust based on notoriety?), but even at +4 it seems a lot easier than it used to be.
