  1. Ouro gives you the option of running the pre-I18 version of Maria Jenkins story arc (Hero's Hero) or the current version (Hero's Epic). You can also run the pre-I18 version of the mission granting the Agent badge (Wipe out Marauder's Cell) or the current version (Defeat Marauder and destroy the portal). Same for the Shrouded badge (although this is an exploration badge and you don't need to defeat Nightstar to get it, just enter the map).
  2. I have a Rad/Rad scrapper. I learned the hard way that I can't see the ground turn blue before the blue flames emerge in the Apex TF when I have Irradiated Ground and Beta Decay running. Really shouldn't have power animations that get you killed.
  3. If you turn on Prestige Power Slide and Super Speed at the same time, you will use the slide animation.
  4. FYI, Confront is autohit in PVE.

    Mids is available for Mac. See below. I've got a Plant/Martial up to 36 or so. I previously played Plant to 50 on a controller and Martial Arts to 50 on a scrapper (both on live), but I don't have a final build yet and am just frankenslotting as I go. On Plant, Spore Burst (AoE sleep) and Spirit Tree (AoE +regen) are skippable. Seeds of Confusion and Carrion Creepers are your bread and butter and you want them up as much as possible. On Martial, it's possible to go entirely ranged, but I like having the melee attacks when mobs come to me, plus they add some AoE and crowd control. I've currently got Caltrops but I'm not sold on it and haven't decided if I'll keep it in the final build. Going Ice Mastery for the Epic, primarily to get Sleet and Ice Storm. Frozen Armor is also good, but be sure to pick minimal graphics.
  6. You can fight the enemies if you enter the phased area. From I22 patch notes: "Dimension Shift is a 20-second, location-based toggle that immobilizes enemies, and phases both allies and enemies, in the area. All characters in the area are free to attack enemies (and are attackable by enemies). Characters can choose to stay safe outside the location, or to move between phases. The toggle can be prematurely turned off to remove the phase effect early. Recharge time reduced from 90 seconds to 60 seconds."
  7. Siphon Power and Siphon Speed stack. Speed Boost does not stack from the same caster.
  8. SR has a taunt aura in Evasion. The in-game description says 400% taunt with no duration specified. The archived Red Tomax info indicates mag 4 for 1 second, while Mids Reborn indicates mag 4 for 13.6 seconds. I can't find anything in the live or homecoming patch notes. Does anyone know what the current duration is (or how to test it)? I'm leveling a SR/Staff.
  9. Would greatly simplify things if shards and shard-based items were eliminated. Alpha slot abilities can be constructed with shards or threads, while all other abilities can be only be constructed with threads. While shards can be converted to threads, threads can't be converted to shards. If you want to construct a tier 3 alpha slot ability and you've got the Notice of the Well from the WST, you need to construct the two common components from shards (8 total). If you want to construct a tier 4, you need 2 Notices plus 32 shards to construct the Favor of the Well, plus 16 shards to construct the common and uncommon components (48 total). While you can earn some of the common shard components from TFs, the uncommon shard-based components can't be earned from any TFs or trials the way the uncommon thread-based components can. Since shards drop at random and can't be created from threads, the only option is to wait until you accumulate enough shards (or break down Notices into shards at the poor exchange rate of 4-6 per Notice). I see no reason why shards couldn't be eliminated and have the WST grant a rare thread-based component. If shards aren't eliminated, at the very least we should be able to convert threads to shards. Would also advocate for the conversion rate from Notices to shards to match the conversion rate from Notices to threads. If a Notice can be converted to 40 threads (equivalent to 2 common components), it should be convertible into 8 shards (not 4-6).
  10. The transit mission in the Market Crash TF cannot be accessed through Ouroboros.
  11. I agree, Snow Storm needs to do more. Since Freezing Rain has -def and -res, how about -dmg or -regen? I only use Snow Storm if I'm exemped down running low level content and don't have access to my other powers.
  12. I know that a 3rd hold seems redundant, however Time Stop has 50% -regen, making it valuable against AVs. Also, if you use Time Wall first, Time Stop increases to mag 4.
  13. I went with Intuition Radial for my Ice blaster. I had to wait until tier 3 for the damage buff, but it also buffs holds and range which Musculature doesn't, and picks up a slow buff in tier 4.
  14. I've done Apex twice on my 50+3 Rad/Rad scrapper. I understand the don't stand in stupid issue. What I don't understand is how to deal with the swords. They kill me in a matter of seconds. Combat log says they do unresistible damage, so I'm basically dealing with them using absorb shield and regen (my build is resist and regen focused). With hybrid melee up I can regen 50 hp/sec, but it's not keeping up. Do I just need to bring a tray of purples?

  16. I don't understand what you're suggesting. An untouchable pet that does what? I'm opposed to trading -tohit for more -regen. Twilight Grasp already has 50% -regen. BTW, the reason the -tohit is only 15% (18.75% for defenders), is because so many other powers in the set have -tohit (Twilight Grasp, Fearsome Stare, Dark Servant). My biggest issue with Darkest Night is that stuff is usually dying so fast I don't bother casting it. I pretty much only use it on AVs.
  17. Beta Decay is autohit. It doesn't actually take accuracy enhancements. The fact that it takes accurate tohit debuffs is a bug.
  18. From the 10/1 patch notes on Beta: Gravity Control > Singularity should now apply and take advantage of the Impact mechanic.

  20. I'm aware, but it's one power per set, not the entire secondary. Emphasis on minimal. I have a lvl 50 Ice/Time and the absorb buff is about 85 hp per tick slotted.
  21. Are you thinking of Sentinels? Blasters don't have regen or absorb based secondaries.
  22. Forming teams to do this is a piece of cake. I go on LFG and announce a Maria Jenkins (or Tina McIntyre) team and I've got 8 people inside of 5 minutes. Ran one on Saturday for Maria Jenkins and completed the entire arc (at +3 x8) in an hour or two.   23. It's pretty darn rare. According to the stats the devs posted a month ago, there are only 64 lvl 50 /Ice scrappers. Of those, 8 are DM/Ice. Try it out and let us know?
  24. Grav/Storm has solid ST damage with Lift and Propel. Plant/Storm has good AoE damage with Carrion Creepers, but takes a bit of recharge to keep them up.
  25. Probably one of the costumes granted by trick or treating. There's also a version that's granted as a mission temp power.
