  1. I tried to find this event so many times back in the day.  Never once found it back then.  Plenty of paladins rampaging around the zone though.

     

    Event notifications are better now so i imagine ill be online eventually for it.  However, once the novelty of the 'new' event wears off, i think it will be a mostly solo event afterwards.

     

    I run a giant monster hunt occasionally and if we get to 15+ league members before seed of hamidon,  we make a detour to KR2 for a paladin battle.  That obviously cant occur if reverted to the old version but overall is a minor inconvenience while looking forward to the new event.

  3. They finally make group fly not totally usless and then people complain when others actually use it.  This comes up alot now, especially during hamidon raids.  Theres a bit of discussion and it usually ends up with people being directed to null the gull.  

     

    Team teleport already has a fix through the options menu and its included with the team invite popup (prompt team teleport).  If players cant be bothered to click prompt TP when joining a team then they have no grounds to complain about being teleported around.

     

    I would suggest group fly receive a similar treatment with a options menu line and an addition to the team invite popup.  Whether its auto decline group fly or suppress group fly or prompt group fly.  I would imagine it needing to be auto so you dont keep getting confirmation popups as the group fly player moves in and out of range.  

     

    It should also be mentioned that teleport didnt always have an option to decline.  Players didnt like having movement forced on them so the option to decline was added.  I feel the situation here, while not identical, is similar enough to warrant the same treatment.

  4. Someone get this man some support.  Hes been stuck in this mission for almost 3 days and the rest of the city needs saving.

     

    Ive had a similar occurence where running into the red box didnt trigger the exit.  Jumping caused me to hit the loading zone trigger.  I couldnt tell you what mission it was since that was a while ago.  There may be several maps with the loading trigger misaligned  if i was on a different map.

  5. since evasive maneuvers took afterburners old place as the 5th ability i guess it got its internal name as well.  so taking afterburner off the tray and activating it from a macro triggers the internal name that is now linked to evasive maneuvers. 

     

    i think the new afterburners internal name is fly boost or maybe fly_boost.  

     

    im sure one of the more knowledgeable players of the inner workings of the powers will be along to confirm or correct me.

  6. If you turned npc dialogue off from all of your chat boxes then you wont see the chat bubbles during cutscenes.  I added npc dialogue and cutscene captions to one of the extra tabs so they arent flooding my chat but i still see the chat bubbles.

     

    The black bars only reaching halfway i believe is a problem with very high resolutions.  I run 1920x1080 and dont have any problems.  If you use a resolution with an aspect ratio wider then 16:9 i believe is when this starts to become a problem.

Back on the live servers,  illusion control was my main and it never had any problems following me.  Sometimes he would stand beside me and not help fight but never fall behind and get 'stuck'.  Im not sure what line of code got changed between then and now, but if it could be located and changed back would be great.

Its a RPG where you play as Peter Needle,  a dual pistols/classic music defender.  During your adventure you join with several unlikely heroes in your quest to recover the finite rocks - stones with the power to keep several papers from blowing away or to decorate a small portion of a garden.

     

    Early on you team up with a badger named Missile,  an assault rifle/wise crack corruptor.  His brute friend, a nature melee/arbor armor named I AM BROOT, also comes along.

     

    Another unlikely series of events finds our heroes in the presence of the emerald skinned and future romantic interest Gamlessa.  Although she has daddy issues,  her skills with dual blades are unmatched.

     

    Our final addition to the crew is a super strength/....strength man that loves tsoo style tatoos.  Nobody really knows his name so lets just call him Dave.

     

    Along the way, Peter Needles is reunited with his father Oge.  A completely sane although extremely promiscous man,  and they work together to thwart Than-yes who is also trying to collect the finite rocks.

     

    The game is generally considered a success,  receiving 7.5 out of 10 stars.  The movie did much better and earned 300 billion information at the box office.

  9. I took a few swings at the weakened hamidon as a level 30 after eating 4 large accuracy enhancements and was doing between .02 and .07 damage.  But that was just for the lolz of hitting a +20 hami.

     

    Any of the 3 suggestions ive seen so far should be fine to me.  Either have hami scale down to 35 or have the TF be 45+ or have a warning that there is a lvl 50 baddie waiting for you and lvl 35 can come but 50 should lead.

     

    Im partial to having the weakened hamidon scale down to 35.  Sure hes an endgame monster but this one specifically has weakened in the name.

  10. Putting brawl or another quick recharge attack on auto does almost the same thing.  Although i assume it was meant to allow freedom of movement and casting another ability while auto attacking more like what warcraft has.

     

    I would like to try having the ability to place 1 long (2+ minute) and 1 short (under 2 minute) cooldown abilities both on auto in a testing environment to see if it helps or hurts the game.  Basically 1 attack and 1 support ability on auto but not 2 of either.  It would probably encourage laziness though but ill never know for sure if i can never try.

  11. Let the people use their powers.  With how this is generally the best and most welcoming community of any game i have ever played,  its near the bottom when it comes to power shaming.

     

    I see taskforces forming all the time - all blaster, all controller, all melee.  You can make your own team - no knockback, no imobilize.

     

    Join a special rules team when you want special rules.  But if you join a random team with random players,  its going to be random.
