I believe the entire invite to league bug goes: if they are the team leader and get invited to the instance MSR league the bug will not let them join the league.  If they drop team,  their former members can join but if the former leader gets invited again 'player is considering another offer' will show when they arent.  Im not sure if there were additional specifics to trigger it like current alignment or current zone or leader and members in different zones.

     

    I believe i read that from a MSR guide and it may have already been fixed but i cant find it from my phone and limited time while at work.

Hopefully the other bugs with the league and instances can get squashed as well.  Like the MSR league leader has to invite to team then move the player elsewhere in the league since invite to league can bug out.  If you drop and then try to rejoin, you have to hit rejoin last event from the LFG menu otherwise theres a good chance that you are gonna be bugged out and unable to be reinvited.  And thats all assuming that one of the other bugs didnt hit you.

     

    All things considered, im suprised that we manage to ever get 48 people in the instance MSR.

I feel that sleep is mostly useless with how the game is played now.  Back when setting up a pull to have the bosses under some control effect while the rest were fought and pulling a second group was almost certainly a wipe was when sleep was useful.  Now the best thing people can say about it is that its good in small teams or poorly geared groups.  Not my top priority pick for a power thats only good when your team isnt.

  4. The resistance towards making it into a snipe, for me at least, is to prevent another set from falling into sameness.  2 single target attacks, a cone, aim, targeted AoE, snipe, nuke.  It leaves very little room to make a powerset feel different.

     

    When the suggestion is to make something different into something the same,  i wont be for it most of the time.

  5. I have chance for +2 mag hold in it as well as in freeze ray.  I open with the longer cast bitter freeze ray and follow up with freeze ray.  BFR also hits hard so something would have to give to become a snipe and that would be less damage or less hold and i like having both.

  6. I tried to find this event so many times back in the day.  Never once found it back then.  Plenty of paladins rampaging around the zone though.

     

    Event notifications are better now so i imagine ill be online eventually for it.  However, once the novelty of the 'new' event wears off, i think it will be a mostly solo event afterwards.

     

    I run a giant monster hunt occasionally and if we get to 15+ league members before seed of hamidon,  we make a detour to KR2 for a paladin battle.  That obviously cant occur if reverted to the old version but overall is a minor inconvenience while looking forward to the new event.

  8. They finally make group fly not totally usless and then people complain when others actually use it.  This comes up alot now, especially during hamidon raids.  Theres a bit of discussion and it usually ends up with people being directed to null the gull.  

     

    Team teleport already has a fix through the options menu and its included with the team invite popup (prompt team teleport).  If players cant be bothered to click prompt TP when joining a team then they have no grounds to complain about being teleported around.

     

    I would suggest group fly receive a similar treatment with a options menu line and an addition to the team invite popup.  Whether its auto decline group fly or suppress group fly or prompt group fly.  I would imagine it needing to be auto so you dont keep getting confirmation popups as the group fly player moves in and out of range.  

     

    It should also be mentioned that teleport didnt always have an option to decline.  Players didnt like having movement forced on them so the option to decline was added.  I feel the situation here, while not identical, is similar enough to warrant the same treatment.

  9. Someone get this man some support.  Hes been stuck in this mission for almost 3 days and the rest of the city needs saving.

     

    Ive had a similar occurence where running into the red box didnt trigger the exit.  Jumping caused me to hit the loading zone trigger.  I couldnt tell you what mission it was since that was a while ago.  There may be several maps with the loading trigger misaligned  if i was on a different map.

  10. since evasive maneuvers took afterburners old place as the 5th ability i guess it got its internal name as well.  so taking afterburner off the tray and activating it from a macro triggers the internal name that is now linked to evasive maneuvers. 

     

    i think the new afterburners internal name is fly boost or maybe fly_boost.  

     

    im sure one of the more knowledgeable players of the inner workings of the powers will be along to confirm or correct me.

  11. If you turned npc dialogue off from all of your chat boxes then you wont see the chat bubbles during cutscenes.  I added npc dialogue and cutscene captions to one of the extra tabs so they arent flooding my chat but i still see the chat bubbles.

     

    The black bars only reaching halfway i believe is a problem with very high resolutions.  I run 1920x1080 and dont have any problems.  If you use a resolution with an aspect ratio wider then 16:9 i believe is when this starts to become a problem.

Back on the live servers,  illusion control was my main and it never had any problems following me.  Sometimes he would stand beside me and not help fight but never fall behind and get 'stuck'.  Im not sure what line of code got changed between then and now, but if it could be located and changed back would be great.
