Faverty Events in association with Black Friday will be hosting the 1st annual REAL ESTATE AUCTION Date: Saturday, Sept. 9 Time: 8-11pm EST There will be over a dozen bases There are 15 bases available for every desire and every budget! Multiple base builders and base owners have signed up to have their bases be a part of the Real Estate Auction. There will be many different styles and themes to choose from! Let's get a bunch of players into their new forever homes on the Everlasting server! A former operating base of Mega Corps, a mercenary organization rendered defunct for some decades - it's since been brought back online by mercs and rogues of the Isles. This base is FULLY FUNCTIONAL. See below for more details. Gish Apartments - GISH-26912 Located in Kings Row, The Gish Apartments feature a one-bedroom/one bath. This would be a great starter apartment for someone new to Paragon! Parking spot included. *MORE DETAILS ON THETA:* Theta is a cavernous, semi-defunct fortress base located beneath Rogue Isles. A former operating base of Mega Corps, a mercenary organization rendered defunct for some decades, it's since been brought back online by mercs and rogues of the Isles. Much of the base is built to reflect this, with winding hallways and defensible chokepoints, but they open up to a broad range of rooms and levels accessible via portal point. The entry tunnel winds into a simple conference room held separate from the rest of the base, with general base amenities (invention worktables, storage, enhancement tables, merit vendor, an icon tailor, and a portal to redside locations) scattered through the room for inconspicuous access. From there, a Beth Point elevator goes to the lower level: small sitting rooms and a processing chokepoint, opening into a communications and holding cell hub with a linked workshop and briefing room. The next portal takes guests to two points: Zayin, a more refined conference and meeting room ensconced deep in the base with a view of the lava flows that help power it, and Daleth, a more amenities-focused level of the base that contains a mess hall, hydroponics room, kitchen, and medbay are all on this level, along with a set of reclamators for PvP enabled base fights. Near the medbay toward the back of the Daleth level, there is another elevator offering transit to the last two layers of Theta: Samekh, a level containing much of the machinery needed to generate power and keep the base running, alongside a pair of small fighting rings for melee-oriented PvP. Kaph, the residential section of the base, complete with two furnished quarters, a small gym, a commons area, sitting spaces and a small underground garden complete with a rudimentary aquarium. Amenities in Theta include: Enhancement tables, invention tables, icon tailor, merit reward vendor, base storage, redside portals, and PvP enabled reclamators for base raids. Sitting pool and backyard desk with barbecue! BASE GIVEAWAY 24 Peterson-Reed Road - REED-29175 A one-bedroom/one bath apartment located in the industrial area of Sharkshead Isle. Original brick walls and ironwork features. Auction, Raffle, Silent Auction, Base Giveaway Fine Print *EDITED*: Guests at the auction are expected to follow the Vault Luxe Nightclub guidelines at all times. Guests are expected to bid in good faith. Guests who win bids are expected to pay the full amount of the winning bid onsite. (Keeping your funds in emails is a good way to ensure you have enough to cover your winning bid.) Guests who bid and do not have enough to cover the cost of the base, will forfeit their win. Any transferred funds will be sent back to the player and the base will be re-auctioned. (A player that needs to transfer funds, may communicate with the deed holder (Sidney-Lynne Faverty) and arrange for extra time, not exceeding 30minutes of real life time.) Winning bidders can expect to have the base transferred to the SG-less character of their choice on site after the total payment has been made. Players may purchase 1 base in the auction. Players who win an additional base in the raffle, giveaway or silent auction, may choose the base they want to keep. If applicable, funds will be reimbursed if needed AFTER the transfer of the property has been made back to the deed holder (Sidney-Lynne Faverty). The base that was not chosen, will become available for purchase in the method it was purchased - ex: if it was won as a raffle, it will return to the raffle pool. It is expected that players purchase/win one base in good faith without entering secondary accounts. Players who have privately purchased bases from Faverty Events in the past are eligible to purchase/win a base at the auction and are subject to the same restrictions and guidelines as all other attendees. A portion of the proceeds of the auction, raffle and silent auction will go to subsidizing base builders and owners who sold bases in the auction below the reserve amount (the reserve amount will not be disclosed) as well as paying any Black Friday staff members who volunteer their time during the auction. Faverty Events is also pleased to announce that 50% of the proceeds of all Faverty Industries built homes (Killarney; Harris Lake) and extra funds from the raffle will be donated to the Community Base Contest Fund, which will support future base building contests hosted by the City of Heroes community base representatives. Influence transactions will be done through trades at the auction; not through in-game emails. Details of the auction are subject to change without notice. It is your responsibility to read the announcements and follow the guidelines. Raffle *EDITED*: Raffle tickets cost 50mil each/5 tickets max per player. Early bird purchases will be allowed for any amount (up to 5) of pre-purchased tickets if purchased before Friday, Sept 8. Players may purchase raffle tickets on the day of the event from 8-9pm EST from the raffle ticket taker (ticket taker name will be announced during the event). If a player wins an additional base in the raffle, their second win will automatically be rejected and the dice will continue to roll until a number without a prior raffle win/base purchase is rolled. The first winner decides which base they would like to own. Silent Auction *EDITED*: Players will bid for a specific base without being privy to the bids of others starting August 31 until Sept 7. Bids submitted after the deadline will be invalid. The silent auction bids will be submitted to @Faverty Industries in-game. Include your bid amount (influence only), your in-game global and discord handle (if you have one). I will send you a confirmation of your bid receipt in-game e-mail. You will not be notified if someone overbids you - it is up to you to place your best bid. DO NOT SEND INFLUENCE with your bid. The highest winning bid of the silent auction will be notified prior to the auction so that the winner can organize their payment. The winner is asked to keep their win quiet until officially announced at the auction. Payment is expected in full via in-game transfer (not emails) before the base is transferred. If the winning bidder does not respond to in-game tells/email/discord messages before Sept 8 at 8pm EST, the winning bidder of the silent auction will be in default and the next highest bidder will be notified. The winning bidder will be notified at least 12 hours in advance to account for time zones/real life. If the winning bidder cannot pay the full amount, any transferred funds will be sent back to the player and the second highest bid will win the silent auction base. The reserve of the silent auction is 500mil influence. (This means all bids must be submitted over the reserve.) If the silent auction base does not receive any bids, it will be auctioned with the other bases. Base Give Away *EDITED*: All players who are in attendance for the real estate auction are eligible to win the base give away. (See below for exceptions) Players will need to register at the auction to be counted in the give away (Name of the player taking base giveaway registrations will be announced during the event). Players may register for the base giveaway from 8-9pm EST on Sept 9. The winner of the base giveaway must be present at the auction and respond to tells and broadcasts of their win. Failure to respond within 15 minutes, despite being present in the base, will default the win and another winner will be chosen. Each player will be assigned a number upon registration. A dice roll will determine which number wins the base giveaway. Players are expected to act in good faith by registering only one account to the base giveaway. Known alternate accounts will be rejected as well as the original player account. EXCEPTION: Players who have purchased/or won a base in the auction already, will not be eligible to win the base giveaway. EXCEPTION: If a player is chosen for the base giveaway and they do not want it, they may pass and another winner will be chosen. Efforts will be taken to ensure that base drift is corrected before the sale of a base, but some bases are more prone to drift than others and a correction may stray once again after being fixed. If you notice base drift in your PURCHASED or WON base, please contact me and I will repair it once. If it shifts again, it is most likely an irreparable base shift error. Wow. It's like you saw the 500mil price tag and just stopped reading. I'd recommend that you do your research next time before making assumptions, though based on some of your other commentary on other posts, you seem to enjoy making inflammatory comments. So, I'm choosing to disengage with you. I refuse to argue with ignorance. Just so you know, I sold this base in July 2022. Easter bunny became a Community rep in October 2022. He wasn't a CR then.

500mil for that base was a super deal. If it had been on Everlasting, it would have sold for MUCH more. Plus, when some one buys a base, they are compensating someone for their time, skill and creativity. It's pretty insulting to reduce their effort to "ebil marketing". Also, I sold this base on behalf of the base builder. I received no funds of the sale. All proceeds went to the original builder.
