I'm back baby! I did not like Indomitable at all. For some strange reason it felt like I was solo levelling slower, dying more often and like I was living in a post apoc wasteland during Aus peak times, ahem. Snarky was right. 8-/

I've just returned to my WS after a long hiatus. I'm trying to find a solid, simple rotation for my tri-form, but it seems to be very hit & miss. For ref, I'm still only lvl 23. Currently I hover or TP into the middle of a pack in human form (I have stealth on always). Then I fire off Mire, Gravity Well and possibly Essence Drain (if I've lost a lot of HP to the alpha strike). I then switch to dwarf, mire, heal, punch them a couple times and then to the final nova dps form, while I back straight up out of reach, then fling detonation, emanation, etc. If I get into trouble, I don't have the higher level skills as yet to get out easily, so I'll just TP or fly away, then use whatever to get my HP and End back up. I prefer the PB dwarf's direct self-heal, but you can't have everything. I find it odd that my human TP goes so much further than the dwarf one, with just one range IO (and an end red), it's almost free and jumps 420' per cast! :) Now, if I TP into a large pack of yellow and oranges, I usually end up in hospital. Seeing WSs are most powerful with bodies around them to leech off, I must be doing something fundamentally wrong with my rotation. I just slotted all 25 IOs, which has helped a bit (from 20 SOs), so hopefully only gets better from here. I imagine I should also try grouping, given that's where Khelds shine. I do love the innate TP, fly and stealth, I had to add hover so I had more mobility mid-air and didn't start falling if I moved or did anything, not sure how anyone could play without it, tbh.

It's spelt Chernobyl ;) I have a rad/rad stalker called Roentgen, pretty proud of that :). My main is 'Pen Umbra' because you guessed it, Penumbra was taken. No biggie. And I just landed 'Darkfriend' on both Excelsior and Indom recently, super-surprised no one had taken it. I even have a couple costume copyright infringements called Spider-Woeman and Spider-Main, so sue me :D. Sometimes I think of a name and that becomes the theme, then I decide on the AT/primary/secondary and do the costume. I would be quite pissed if the name was just taken off me one day when I logged in, with no warning. At the very least, the devs need to give owners min 30 days' notice, both in-game and forum mail, as well as via email if possible. Case in point: I have a couple pages of level 4s and under that just popped up with the name alert, with only 23-25 days offline. And I am positive I just refreshed them and all of my lower levels a week (or two at most) ago. While the tracking system is as bugged as the whitehouse, please do NOT implement any changes to the policy devs!

I'm only sitting on 62 alts on Excelsior. I have a problem and taking my substance off me is not going to help with my addiction recovery!!! Seriously, OP's first post, he's been here for a hot minute and is already demanding policy/rule changes? Please.

Indomitable seems crapola. I feel like I'm def doing less damage than on Excelsior and certainly not levelling twice as fast. Does the double XP from the p2w vendor not stack with the server double xp boost or something...? Bleh. I'm goin back if this doesn't get any better. Server is a wasteland, especially in our prime time down under. 5-10min wait is worth it if all those negatives are the alternative. Yes, yes, I know Snarky, there is only Excelsior! ;-p

I just started a new hero on Indomitable (dark/dark stalker), and I called her...wait for it... Excelsior.! (had to add the dot at the end :). (it was good to find out emails are shared account-wide too, but sadly not SG membership) Been getting a lot of stares and challenges to duels, not sure why... 8-/

Ooooh, did not know that - I'm going to load up my current main I'm levelling with Inf and migrate over for a week to see how the other half lives! I'm only really after the double XP...call me a stinkin mercenary traitor if you will ;).

If you are a bookworm, I highly recommend Dan Simmons' Carrion Comfort. One of the best spins on vampires imho in modern literature. Necroscope was a damn good series, at least the first three, back in the 80s (very gorey from memory). There is also a great, not so well known gothic horror series The Adversary Cycle by F. Paul Wilson, one of which was made into an excellent gothic horror movie - The Keep (there are 5 or 6 versions unfortunately, only 1 or 2 are relatively complete & worth watching). The book is quite different to the movie & very vampir-esque...for a while :). This later spawned the entire Repairman Jack series which I also enjoyed. Children of the Night is another fantastic one from him, for a different look at Dracula's/Count Vlad's origin story. Song of Kali is a different but just as great horror of his. And I'm not even into horror normally. Even more odd, as everyone remembers him for Hyperion, which although I'm a huge sci-fi nut I wasn't a big fan of and stopped half way, eh. I was also a huge fan of True Blood back in the day, for all the wrong reasons.

Yeah, I can get all the info on sets say, but which are best to use for my build, and in which powers...? I have to go to the SnarkyMIDsDB for those answers!

Yeah devs, how hard would it be to have a pop-up (while you hover an enhancement over an empty power slot) showing the actual bonuses you will get if you slot it there...before you drop it in. Just sayin... ;)

I just landed Incontinentia Buttocks!!! Here's an idea: just allow duplicate character names already. The global handle is unique anyway, so surely it won't take Cryptic level devs to program this (last famous words).

Necro/Dark(or any secondary) MM. With recent changes, you can do your nails (hands and feet), while watching your undead horde fly through mobs at relativistic speeds. You will just need a fast travel power to keep up with them is all. ;)

Excuse me Mr Devs, can we please have an Indomitable for down under, so we too can have 10 players in peak hour and no AH economy, but really low pings? We love a challenge here ya know! ;) Seriously, if you are using Azure or AWS hosting, we have those in Aus - unlike those NZ sheep who are still doing 80s data centre hosting!

And it's always 20-40 in prime time. How hard can it be to up a server from 2000 users let's say, but another 50 or so...? 8-/
