  1. "I hiss in your general direction! Your mother was a hairball, and your father smelled of litter tray!"
  2. It's called fashion. Look it up.
  3. Okay witches, here's Episode 4: So, not a filler episode (with the challenges for each witch, none of them will be), but spending time fleshing out character a little. Honestly, only thing I'm a bit disappointed about... felt a bit short. Then again, one of the advantages of streaming is you can cut an episode where the story suits, not the ad breaks.
  4. Heh. I don't think any lawyer in their right mind would support anyone's specific claim about that. (See meme on previous page - and also the current viral junk story claiming he's been in it since Avengers.)
  5. Small note for anyone interested: Read a quick interview clip with Jac Shaeffer (writer/showrunner). Spoiler below re the M-word...
  6. ...in the middle of a pandemic. But still clocked nearly $400m. A record for that nasty summer, and drove a bunch of people to Disney+. (And bought Scarlett a couple of new houses when she sued them for it.) So for once, flop is relative. I will cheerfully agree it was not a good movie and audibly clunked at a lot of points: even Ray Winstone looked bored by his bit as Central Casting Evil Ruskie, and Taskmaster was a non-entity. Yelena and Alexei, though, felt like they'd got cut in from a somewhat better script, and the Pugh fully redeemed her with a cheerfully psychotic performance in Hawkeye. (I'm never making Kraft Dinner the same way again.) I think giving a good character/performance from a bad movie another shot can be A Good Thing. Margot needed three goes at Harley - in all three she was a standout, but the last one just worked.
  7. I have it slotted 😃
  8. Today's Tarot card: Judgement.
  9. Okay, witches, here we go...
  10. I agree there's a big Void in my thinking... As Harrison is neither in the trailer nor announced on IMDB, but is shown Hulking out in CA:NWO... I have a feeling the Thunderbolts* title isn't related to ol' Tad. I mean, we've changed everything else...
  11. They came to Earth for the thrill of the hunt funk.
  12. I live in hope that there'll at least be some proper double-crossing intriguery shenanigans, and not just a single Big Bad (the anti-Bob?) or they round a corner into their Shadow Simulacra or whatnot. I am pleased that they're using practical FX as much as possible for this one - no major CGI and absolutely no goddamn AI. Unless you look at the posters.
  13. Okay, we have an official Teaser Trailer (but quite a big one)… The big early setpiece is that someone puts all the players together in a Standard Issue Deathtrap Room Mk4 - possibly as a test, possibly to get shot of the lot. Working out who did it, why, and who gets first turn at removing their liver through their eye sockets is the rest of the movie. Bucky shows up later on, and is shown watching the Contessa, so much double/triple-crossery ahoy. And who the hell is Bulletproof Bob?
  14. Small update: It's nice to see a show generating a LOT of fan theories and positive interaction on the interwebs again. Read a GOOD one, but it's gonna turn the happy campy singalong vibe on its head if it's true...
  15. Well, I'm enjoying The Agatha Show - though by Ep2, it's very much an ensemble piece, with scenes being stolen by most of the cast. (And even if Joe Locke's irritating me, I think that may be intentional - not least because it distracts from figuring out who the hell he is). Also, whatever rumours you hear, I would trust nothing and no-one. Especially not Agatha. SEEKETH YE THE ROAD OF SPOILERS?
  16. Yes I do use mousepads, otherwise my laser mouse goes (more) nuts on a shiny surface. Oh, and while I like your design, it tends to work better on darker backgrounds - so if you could share how you printed that, I'd love to do a couple of my own.
  17. Some gameplay: Smashing stuff to collect tokens is very familiar. Someone knows their BSG lore... Environment swaps the blocky Lego to an appropriately more rounded style. Collecting specific items from chest and taking them to an injection moulder lets you create powerups (eg: an auto turret.) Gold Bricks => Gold Crowns. It's almost surprising they got away with this direct of a lift, but looks pretty playable...
  18. New thing: a franchise-mashing adventure in a toy world where diverse... heroes... ...hang on. Haven't we seen this before? If the name 10/10 Games sounds oddly familiar, 10/10 are refugees from Traveller's Tales, who made all those Lego games... ...and were bought a while back by Warner Brothers, so you can have a guess why they left. * There's a lot of franchises they've pulled from, a lot of them Universal. If you haven't guessed 10/10 are a Brit studio, Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz feature prominently, but also Xena, Masters Of The Universe, Scott Pilgrim, FNAF, Invincible, Back To The Future, Jurassic Park, and The Thing. What do we think? At the very least, I'm happy to see a bunch of decent devs deciding their own destiny. *If you want the specifics...
  19. Manu Dibango - Soul Makossa
  20. The Alan Parsons Project - Sirius / Eye In The Sky
  21. Yeah, it's not like anyone's gonna throw Jack Black into another poorly-written game adap to try and follow up Super Mar...i...oh.
  22. Today's Tarot Card Of The Day... Justice.
  23. Yeah, but he gave great Overlord/BBEG, and man, could he ever monologue. Then again, he could make anything sound menacing. Well, more or less. (And was one hell of a comedy player.)
