  2. Motörhead - Heroes
  3. Phosphorescent - Christmas Down Under
  4. See also... (and if DreamWeaver had her own intro music...)
  5. The Monkees - Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day
  6. Bing Crosby - The First Noel (Attaboy Remix)
  7. The Jive Turkeys - Get Down Santa
  8. Gary Walker - Santa's Got A Brand New Bag
  9. Not to big up our current venue, but... The very first time I heard the Atlas Park fanfare as a newbie heroine, stepping blinking out of the Outbreak. That. And if there's something a little off currently in Homecoming, it's that Kallisti Wharf is eerily silent and devoid of music.
  10. My favourite Trick Arrow was the one that... Maybe that was only in the EPK though? Darn. Late edits. Dontcha just hate'em?
  11. No Small Children - Angels We Have Heard On High
  12. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers - Christmas All Over Again
  13. Having not read the books (and probably not having the shelf space for them - or dark-iron reinforced shelves for that matter, those are reserved for my Nigella tomes...) Liked episode 1 from the warrior mage get-go. A wise man once said that "hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good Blaster at your side." Moraine embodies all three, with some healzor skills on the side. Much badassitude. Like her already. That sequence also neatly demonstrated how Light magic works and is channelled without having to explain it. They're hooking people in with action and drama rather than attempting to pile all the worldbuilding on early. Good choices! Less good: Mat's going to annoy the hell out of me, isn't he? Speaking of which, Mat has already been recast for Season 2 with Donal Finn. Nobody is saying why, which does not sound healthy for Barney Harris' career. Even if the idea that you're "difficult" enters the Hollywood consciousness without reasons, you're about to rack up a large collection of nametags and hairnets.
  14. I've always heard Gunn was an actor's director, and it's nice to watch a character (and actor) evolve, even just over the course of a three minute trailer. Also, would anyone at all except HBO have greenlit this? What do you lot think?
  15. Run DMC - Christmas In Hollis
  16. Count Sidney & His Dukes - Soul Christmas
  17. Having read some of the comments about New World, especially on launch day, I'm not sure they do know what they're up to. Mind you, Bezos' crew can afford to throw rocket-powered lawn darts and see what hits orbit and what explodes messily on the mesa. I'm kinda hoping they'll allow for creativity alongside that. I mean, I'd love to fight alongside Hulk or Captain Carter, but as me, or at least a toon I've come up with myself. If I was playing the Multiverse card here, I would - and apologies for going full copywriter here... ..."amidst the endless dimensions of the Multiverse: there are some where YOU are the hero... or the villain. What powers would this other you have? What path would they choose? And how would they stand alongside the ranks of Marvel legends? Now you can tell their story in..."
  18. Joanne Shaw Taylor - In The Mood
  19. Trans-Siberian Orchestra (aka Savatage): Sarajevo 12/24 (Carol Of The Bells)
  20. Andrew Bird - Andalucia
  21. Ernie Halter - All I Want For Christmas Is You
  22. Fountains Of Wayne - Sick Day
  23. The Superions - Who Threw That Ham At Me?
  24. Punk Rock Factory - God Gave Rock & Roll To You
  25. I'm pretty sure I didn't imagine it, since there's evidence online, but I used to love playing Gammarauders and no-one else remembers it. Intensely silly, easy to learn, satisfying to master. Hex-based strategy with giant customisable monsters (Hoags or Squawk for me), troops (known derisively as Popcorn), and Vehicles With Fins. In more regular boardgames... never got the hang of or desire to play Monopoly, which probably explains the state of my long-term finances. Or chess, which also reflects a poor grasp of long-term planning. Scrabble, on the other hand... BRING IT ON, SUCKER / dolt / dumbell / patsy / pigeon / simpleton / schlub / klutz (etc)
