  1. Does anyone know the BBCode for the quote header? The typical BBCode quote name="header" doesn't seem to work as expected. Also, is there is a code conversion to editor? I seem to remember you could flip your post into a code mode so you could see exactly what you're doing. From what I can tell, this version of BBCode we're now using doesn't have that option. Thanks for your help! -Brigg
  2. This is actually why I may have to limit costumes from Players. Unfortunately, not everyone's computer is going to be able to handle all the costume uploads. With the original Comic Con costumes at around 150, every once in a while, I would be told it would lag and they weren't able to run it. With the Player costumes, I'm at about 250. Some cutbacks may be in order. Recreating the Freedom Phalanx or any other NCSoft character is still violating CoC if I read it correctly. A ready-made character model is available to be used inside of AE, but it wouldn't work for the Comic Con missions. What made it so popular, besides the cosplayers, was the focus on a certain build - for example, fire resistance. I used a select set of powers specifically designed to do base fire, and only fire damage. No hidden damage. Signature Character models still use their own abilities. It would be catastrophic. ANOTHER IDEA I think I like to punish myself with more work lol. I've considered adding people's Global and original Server to the character's Bio page. I'm not sure if this is even something anyone would want, but if their's a big enough majority who would, it is something I'd consider doing. But what I would really like to do is give them titles. For example, @Brigg, Protector over my own character inside the farm. However, this would probably cause a lot more lag for those who are already struggling. And I don't think it is even an option for critters within AE Arcs. Wishful thinking.
  3. I wouldn't call them Random, they are actual Players' ingame characters - mostly their main characters. Random characters would have been boring and have no value to anyone. This way, each character has value to someone or a group of someones. As for using signature characters, if I read that right, that is also against the Code of Conduct. You can use the ready-made Signature Characters made available for AE Arcs, but you cannot recreate them or use their likeness. At least, that's how I perceived it. I've considered giving all the characters a Bio. Something short. Maybe their Global and Server Origin to give them more weight as actual Players. From feedback, people do check the bios. Not often, but it happens. I even considered adding it to their name, but of course, their's not enough room. Oooh, I wonder if one of the GMs can give me access to give them Titles somehow. I doubt that even exists inside AE, but that would be neat. I don't have Brigg in there, but I'll use myself as an example. Over the character name (they're actually called critters in AE), it could say @Brigg, Protector
  4. I'm still adding costumes! However, I may be getting to a point where I might have to minimize submissions. Like many of you, I, myself, have multitudes of characters that have a special meaning, so some people are sending a dozen. I try to pick at least 2 from those lists. Sometimes 3 or 4. But I may have to narrow those down to 2. Every time I update the Arc with the new additions, there's a Stability Maintenance announced. I'm sure it can't be because of me (I hope not), but it makes me consider limiting costumes. Currently, it is around 190 costumes uploaded with another 30 (and still growing) to go. I haven't fully uploaded all the S&L versions yet, however, there are quite a bit in there. I will be uploading for both. I have to manually create each avatar and load the file. If I try to simply copy and paste the file code directly into a file, anyone that has a weapon bugs the avatar - since they use Fiery Aura and Fire Blast (No weapons).
  5. Hey gang! I was able to publish a Smashing & Lethal Influence farm with the Atta Cave Map and an Outdoor Map. Check my Signature for the ArcID's or search "Brigg" in AE to find them. Remember, these are designed for Influence. If you are powerleveling a friend using these, they'll get less XP than normal. That's the trade off for boosted Influence - Less XP. Or NO XP if you're already Level 50. You'll need to decide if the Boosted Influence is worth it to you to lose XP going towards your Vet Levels. Enjoy! -Brigg

  6. LOL I considered it, but we're good now. I have the spots available.
  7. Not yet. For every Arc that becomes Hall of Fame, I get an extra Publishing Slot. I now have 2 more available, so I will make an Atta Cave and Outdoor one and have them uploaded here in a bit.
  8. Nope, the 708 Fire Ants aren't mine, but were you able to get them to work? I checked, and they were available. I would assume maybe you had a filter on, but from what I can tell from your image above, you didn't.
  9. This. Also, I just want to point this out. In order to keep XP as high as I could, you have to have a specific balance of Minion - Lieutenant - Boss ratio. If not, the XP plummets. I'm randomizing ranks as much as possible. I will admit, Granted, I have reserved some Boss ranks for my team who originally helped with playtesting and tweaking the Comic Con Farms, but for the most part I'm just going through a list. And I'm doing this before ever seeing your costumes, so please don't think you were set as Minion for any reason other than random. If I could make everyone Bosses, I would! Unfortunately, XP would be sliced down horribly.
  10. The newly updated Bloody Rainbow and other Comic Con farms are up and running. If you've sent me a Character.costume file and don't see it in there, I am still adding more! Thank you everyone for your support! -Brigg
  11. The new Bloody Rainbow as well as the rest of the Comic Con farms are all updated as of last night! However, I'm still not done adding costumes! There are about 150 uploaded so far with quite a bit to go. So if you've sent me your character.costume file, it will be uploaded.
  12. Absolutely. Just messaged you back a moment ago. I checked the story, and somehow, the Story Contact, a generic television, was set to None. Not sure how that happened. But it's fixed and ready to go. It also has the CoH Community costumes in it! I'm still adding more, but there's 100 costumes in there so far. You can PM me here with the Character.costume file, Character name, and Body Type.
  13. No, but the idea of the farm is adding player costumes that others will recognize - even if it's a only a couple of your friends. But I'm not limiting it to this. If you have a character that you yourself enjoy and would like to see in here, I'm not apposed to adding it. Keep in mind, eventually, I will have to start limiting characters from individuals to 1 if I receive enough. So for now, send what you want to see in the AE Arc. @Blackbird71 You definitely have some valid points in there. But it all came down to - why risk it. A costly litigation on something that makes no profit isn't worth it. And I definitely don't want to be the one that brings down servers.
  14. That is hilarious and not a bad idea.
  15. Absolutely.
  16. Thanks @Jimmyfor the clarification! I appreciate you and the GM team working with me to clear this up. Keep those Character.costume files coming. I should have it up as early as tomorrow some time!
  17. Okay Gang! Spoke to Cipher again, and it was determined to err on the side of caution when it comes to the Cosplayers using licensed characters. This includes the NPC allies you would get to rescue, such as Stan Lee. Meaning I'll be updating all the Comic Con farms to have the new Community Player setup. I can't say it isn't a bummer, but I would hate to be the one to bring down the whole server due to a lawsuit, so I am happy to oblige. And in this case, conflict inspired creativity allowing me to come up with an AE Arc with our own characters. Here's a link that was posted for more info. I'm currently working on a story line for the new setup. Yes, it's only a farm, but I do like to add some life to it. However, I should have it up as early as tomorrow some time! Keep sending me those Character.costume files! Thank you everyone for your understanding and support! -Brigg
  18. Another Update: Cipher contacted me via a Live Chat in Discord. The GM staff was not aware of the ban and hadn't taken any action against my AE Arc and couldn't even find any record of a ban. While speaking via Discord, the GM Staff was actively investigating what went wrong. They eventually discovered an auto-ban AE had done on its own. Apparently, AE has a threshold limit of complaints before it'll take action. The last one was the straw. The GM team is working on correcting this from hopefully not happening again. Good news so far. But to allow the GM team to address the issue, Cipher asked that I hold off for at least a day or two. This doesn't necessarily mean bringing all the Bloody Rainbow cosplayers back online is a done deal. We'll see how it goes. In the meantime, I'm working on the Community AE Arc. Name still pending 🙂 Thank you everyone for all your support! -Brigg
  19. Hey Gang. For those who haven't heard, someone filed a complaint for Content Violation resulting in Bloody Rainbow being pulled. I have a substitute in the works however. Here's a link for more Info.
  20. Greetings Everyone! Due to complaints of Content Violation, the Bloody Rainbow Comic Con Fire Farm was banned on September 28th. I was able to republish it with some basic AE critters I had available. However, no GM had actually taken action against it, but instead, discovered an auto-ban within the AE system when complaints would reach a certain number. With this brought to light, it enabled the GM Team to make adjustments to this Auto-ban. But after a discussion, it was decided to err on the side of caution and discontinue the Cosplayers to prevent any legal actions. This allowed me to get creative and come up with a solution. What made the Comic Con Farms so popular, other than the great rewards and alternative gameplay, was recognizable costumes. So to keep that theme and make it more personal to the community, I’ve decided to open it up for everyone's characters and names. The missions will be made up of all of us - our community. I am accepting multiple submissions at the moment, but realize I may have to cut it down at some point. So send me your main character, or your most beloved character, or just the character your friends know you by, and I'll add it to the AE Mission. If you want to be added, send me: Character.Costume File* The name you want – Character or Global Body Type How to contact me: Discord - @Brigg#4571 - This is the easiest for me to manage. Facebook - Robert Jasso - Messenger can be weird, but still doable. You can search for Brigg as well, and I should still pop up. Homecomingservers.com - You can Private Message me your Character.costume file and info here as well *To get your costume file, it's very simple. You'll first need a saved version of it. If you've never saved it, go to a Trainer, Icon Employee, Surgeon, or Trina the Body Sculptress in Pocket D, select the costume you want to save, and in the Tailor Tab (the main costume edit tab), click the save button under the color palette. Your player name is usually the most ideal choice. Next you'll need to go to your Costume folder inside of your Tequila folder. This may be different for some of you, but there's a super simple way to find out exactly where this location is. Simply open the Tequila Launcher and click on the Options button in the bottom right. A popup window will show "Install Path" just above center left. This is where you'll find your Costume Folder and your file. If you saved it as SuperJoe, the file will be SuperJoe.costume. Locate me via Discord, Facebook, or PM me here, drag & drop the file or use the browse option to locate the file to upload it to the message window. Be sure to add the Character Name and Body Type. Body Type just makes my life a tad bit simpler, but not crucial. Remember: I'm asking for the Body Type, not gender. Having the correct Body Type enables I don't have to go back and fix it - which resets the costume to random risking I upload it with your Character name and some hideous random costume with puke-green skin tone, ruffles, monster legs, and a hot pink scaly tale. Apologies if that's your costume. But let's be honest. You chose that outfit for that reason. 😛 This is something I wanted to extend to the whole community. Not just people who use AE. This is for everyone who wants to participate. 22. Added Kingpin and Killmonger
  23. Oh man, that guy is demented.
  24. Once $Comic Con Fire Farm$ hits 999+ 5 Star ratings, an S&L Inf Farm is the next Farm Map I plan on making.
  25. @Cheydrazaar This was indeed a lot of fun! It was a pleasure to be a part of. Thank you to you and your group for putting this together. I got a lot of great ideas from this event that I've been slowly adding into the Comic Con Farm. I also loved the way you guys did your judging. Great idea!
