This would be great, I'd love to see the mechanics of vanity pets spruced up a little to make summoning them a little smoother and to keep them around when you changed zones. They can be an important part of a character's theme and it's a shame they're so clunky to use.

I'd love it if they were more robust. Infinite health is a bit much but maybe give them soft capped def and/or stealth? That way they can still get hit and die in one shot but it's much less likely to happen. As they are now they're not really worth the effort of summoning which is a shame because I like having them around. edit: I'm reasonably certain they actually do have a higher base threat than most some ATs.

Agreed, I use the recharge timer to keep track of powers with long (1min+) recharges but use the icon size to keep track of powers with short recharge so I can check them with my peripheral vision without having to shift my focus to the power tray. This change will make things harder for me, not easier. Have Recharge Timers and Icon Shrinking as two separate options so people can customize their experience.

This is a fantastic change that will open up a lot of thematic flexibility. It would be nice if Bayonet could get an alternate Crab Spider animation too. It's probably outside of the scope of this current patch but it would be great to see this extended to Mace Mastery for Crab Spiders and maybe even adding alternate animations to Brawl, Boxing and Kick to use your Crab Spider arms. -

I think the devs expected the price of PAPs to fall a lot lower than they have. If they were at 400k then a T1 costume would be 4mil, T2 40mil, T3 100mil, which is still pretty expensive for a non powergamer but achievable. -

100% agree. I consider myself a mid-tier powergamer and I farm every so often to afford to purple out my toons and I still think the t3 aether powers are out of reach. If I remember right PAPs were introduced to be an inf sink but I can't imagine the venn diagram of "fire farmers with too much money" and "people who want to look pretty in pocket D" has much overlap. It feels like it's funnelling the inf in the wrong direction and might cause RPers who don't normally farm to start. -

Would it be possible to have an option to remove the unusual particle FX on cloaking device? (And by extension, on Field Operative for /Devices?) A "No FX" option for both powers would be great. -
I'm not sure if this is related to NPE exactly but could we have more control over where captions appear on the screen? With my UI setup that has multiple chat windows for global chat and such I occasionally find the gameplay captions display underneath a chat window if the caption isn't placed towards the middle of the screen.

When you choose "The" as your title in character creation it switches colors from blue to green when you join a team, but if you ever use a trainer to alter your title you only seem to have the option to choose a custom color, which defaults to black. Is there any way to reset the color of your player title to the default so it switches color based on your team status like "The" does? edit: And if not could this be added?

Minor thing, could we get Bayonet and/or Pummel alternate animations for the crab backpack? edit: also going to add to the opinion that Heavy Burst's crab animation needs some work. It's too short at the moment. -

Spiked Collar shoulder piece as Head Detail 2?

Would it be possible to add the Spiked Collar shoulder piece as a Head detail? Not taking away the shoulder piece option, but to add more versatility? This could also apply to other shoulder pieces that go around the character's neck, such as chains and the bow tie. Additionally, it would be great if these options were usable with asymmetrical shoulder pieces, to allow for even further versatility.-

People aren't going to get lost and never leave Atlas Park if they're able to get their LRT without leaving the zone. Now that the AE building isn't in the starting zones every contact you do missions for will eventually lead you out of the zone. The LRT's functionality as a SG base teleporter for new characters that aren't old enough to have the day job yet is extremely useful in the any of the starting zones and if a new character were to wander into Perez Park or the Abandoned Sewer Network it could be essential. Adding a trip outside the starting zone to get that is just pointless busywork. edit: If leaving the zone is -essential- to the devs' vision for this then change the requirement to two exploration badges from different zones. (And add exploration badges to the Atlas Park exits of Perez and the sewers for new players so they can escape if they need to.)

8 would let people continue to earn the LRT on new characters in the way they're used to or earn it organically through exploration. It's not about effort, it's about a convenience tool being made slightly less convenient when it doesn't have to be so. It wouldn't be -difficult- to go to KR and get two more badges in the same way it wouldn't be -difficult- if the government moved your mailbox to the opposite side of the street, it's just a minor annoyance where there doesn't need to be one.

Having a client-side option to turn off any FX that are covering your character is a great idea. I'd really like it if it was expanded to cover things like the rings from having a regen power up, the floating icons that appear when you use an insp or leadership power, all the little FX that tend to add up and look visually busy. Just a client-side flag in the options menu to make them all totally invisible to yourself would be perfect.
