Looks great. Idk why theres Combat Jumping, but otherwise it's awesome.

1 - increase the amount of donations accepted each month 2 - use that funding to pay more devs and spend some on real marketing efforts 3 - all players should be promoting the game (we should make a referral program - bring in a new player and get 10mil influence or something) 4 - get ncsoft to allow the above It is doable. CoH Homecoming can be a the next phase of CoH with another expansion and more issues. But until we can pay the devs enough for them to make Coh work their main job, they can only do so much. I'm so thankful for everything they have been doing and I hope it continues for a long time. But having a small budget from donations, even 25k a month, would be a huge step up from the 8k or so they get donated monthly. As donations increase, there can be rewards offered. Get a plaque or special costume piece or recipe or anything. It is 10000% doable and can be done. Just having the game as it is with the new stuff they put out is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! So as long as they keep doing that, I will always be here. But it would be great to be able to donate more that can be used to increase comfort for devs putting in the time. Players can handle the marketing but allowing devs to leave jobs and focus solely on CoH would be the best thing for the game. Also, those that have experience with design, programming, modeling, animation and rigging, marketing, and more - should all reach out and donate some time to help. I plan on doing that and hopefully I can get the marketing on track 🙂

If you choose one of your powersets to be just you pulling out a rifle and going "pew pew" then you will be stuck with half your powers being you pulling out a rifle and going "pew pew" lol jk lol

I do the same thing, except I put Damage where Luck is. And I have self res so no need to the res inspirations. As I hit 40+, there is more need to use the break-free inspirations when I can't go dwarf form immediately. I usually try to keep one of each at all times. Even if I use the other 4 rows, the fifth row will still have one of each for emergencies. But if you don't have inspirations and need more, just kill more enemies and they drop drop drop! Very useful

Do I need to type in /maxinactivefps # every time i box?
Xalon replied to kelika2's topic in General Discussion
I'm surprised multiboxing is allowed. It's the most blatant way to be cheap and lazy at the same exact time. Want to level more characters? Then take the time to do so like the other players do. Is this a thing that a lot do? Everyone I spoke to won't ruin their experience or sabotage their fun by multiboxing. But I know there are others. You do you of course. I just personally like to play the game the way it was intended to be played. How many do you box at once? 2? 4? -
You can also look up the encounters on the wiki and see any text/dialog you may have missed. I do that all the time because when you run TFs, everyone is in a rush to go as fast as possible, even with kill most/all. So I never get time to read the text as TF leader and I don't get the text as a TF member lol.

Whenever someone says "boss is over here" or something like that, I open map > put cursor over dots to find name of player > go to where that player is. Takes maybe 5 seconds total.

Kheldian Peacebringer - Dawn Strike You can literally fly into a group of 5+ enemies, hit this ability and everyone gets knocked back like 20+ feet and lose all health or all but 5-10% Also, radiant strike - slow but damn it does a ton of damage! Kheldian Peacebringer and Arachnos Soldier - both of these, no matter the spec, you will get to experience why there are epic archetypes. Level 20-25+ is when they start getting really, really fun!

You can different voices to use and then set it up for female and male. Maybe have mek men and others use the windows voice. Great idea! People seem to forget that while we all loved CoH when live and have great memories, Homecoming is the future and there is soooooo much more we can do if we work together. Personally I want to see how much it would cost to reimplement the base raids. That, more PVP action and voiceovers - thats the dream! Great job.

Tabletop RPGs - man that brings me back. When the players are into it and the GM is someone with personality and imagination, you can have some amazing adventures. I wish more played.

I just learned that you can see your character's stats by clicking menu tab on top of powers popup tray (been only looking at power stats) Doink.

I would say... Yellow and below - not an issue if you pay attention Orange - depends on the enemy, but doable if you have full health and Inspirations/Cooldowns to burn Purple - haven't seen one yet Though I have been caught unawares fighting mobs and a yellow or orange sneaks up behind me and does some controller/etc. move and takes half my health.

The first time I played CoH, it was a few weeks after I started playing Champions Online. So immediately, the graphics bothered me. But as we all know, once you play a bit, you adjust to the style and its not really that bad at all. The first 10-20 levels, I started getting sick of door missions and big open areas I didn't feel were that great. But as I played, more and more, everything is quite robust and I saw how each zone had sooooo much to offer, on top of the different door mission and maps and Tfs and more! I think a lot of new players think that the game is just door instances and open maps with just random mobs. And they leave before things really get good. Imo, that is when you are level 16-22+, when you have a decent set of powers, can run a trial or two or even a taskforce, and have more than just the first couple of zones. I was playing other games so I stopped after a couple of months on and off and that was a year or so before it shut down. Then I came back a few weeks ago, started over with a few characters I spent more time building and by taking my time, I saw how everything was different. I am different. And its such an amazing game that just gets bigger and deeper the further you go. I love that. It really is like the superhero WoW because its massive!! Tons of repeatable missions, 100+ story arcs, dozens of taskforces, strike forces, trials and more. I do want to get base attacks/defenses going again, and wish more would try the PVP zones and the Arena matches. I like how many are not teenagers and are people who have played other mmos and love CoH for everything it does and doesn't have. Imagination is key. A sense of fun is a must. I'm really glad I came back to CoH and now I'll never leave. So the reason I'm here is all the devs and all the amazing players who support the devs - because without Homecoming. there would be no true CoH anymore. And I'm super thankful to be able to play! Xalon - Arachnos Crab Soldier XalonMG - Kheldian Peacebringer Xalonus - Praetorian Tanker (loyalist) And with these three characters, I get to experience everything blue, red and gold has to offer, all for the very first time! *well, now that my characters are past a certain level FUN. That is the main reason I play. I haven't been able to play anything else since I've been back lol. And I'm loving it! Shout out to all my Excelsior friends! See you in the city! S!

If doing combo of heroes and villains... 1x Kheldian PB (doubles as blaster/scrapper/etc) 1x Kheldian WS (doubles as blaster/scrapper/etc.) 1x Arachnos Crab (doubles as scrapper/blaster/mastermind) 1x Arachnos Widow (doubles as stalker) 1x Tanker 1x Scrapper 1x Controller 1x Defender That is my 8 man team. I think it will go ok, but I'm still new.
