  1. @WuTang I've gotten caught up in alt-itis, so he's been gathering dust. I've found the snipe to be good at taking LTs out of the fight before it begins, then working on the minions the regular way.
  2. tldr: 1) Level to level 2 and take your new power. 2) Go to the P2W vendor, get jump pack and run power. NO XP BOOSTERS. 3) Run Matthew Habashy arc. (3 Merits) 4) Run Sondra Costel arc. (3 Merits) 5) Run Aaron Thiery arc. (3 Merits) 6) Get the 8 Exploration badges (5 Merits) 7) Convert your 14 Merits to 42 Enhancement Converters. 😎 Sell converters for 60,000 each: 2.5 million PROFIT! If you're starting a new character and don't have millions of "seed money from your main character, there's a quick and easy way to get up to 2.5 million influence without ever leaving Atlas Park. After spawning in, the first thing to do is kill enough Hellions hanging around Atlas Plaza to get to level 2 and get your second primary power. Go around the left corner of the platform to the P2W vendor (she's the second NPC.) Grab your free damage enchancements and a "run" power (ninja, beast, or Athletic.) This gives you powerful jumping abilities when sprinting. Pick up a Jet Pack or Steam Jump while you're here. We will need it later. DO NOT get any XP multipliers! We don't want to outlevel our three contacts here. Mission Contact Matthew Habashy is right past the P2W vendor. Run his quick story arc for 3 Reward Merits. He will introduce you to Sandra Costel. This is another quick story arc that earns you another 3 Merits. NOTE: YOU NEED TO TURN OFF XP WHEN YOU HIT LEVEL 6. You don't want to run the chance of outleveling the third contact: Aaron Thiery is our last contact, and the third one to award us 3 Merits. After you finish his arc, turn XP back on and load up on XP boosters at the P2W lady. Lastly, we're going to get the eight Exploration Badges here in AP. This will give us another 5 Merits, for a total of 14. This is fast and fun. The link has all the locations. I start at City Hall. Grab the two inside, the one on top of City Hall, and the one on the Atlas globe. Head to the Base portal behind City Hall, where there's another badge in front of an NPC. That's five already. Then south to the Vanguard HQ, where there's a badge to the left upstairs. All that is left is using the Jump Pack to get the last two badges, which are on ledges on two buildings near the north wall. Now, we cash in! First, go to the NPC near Ms. Liberty after you level up. Sell all the enhancements you've looted and all the white Salvage pieces. This gives us enough inf to pay auction seller's fees. We go to Wentworth's and use the Merit ATM to the right as you enter, You want to exchange your 14 Merits for 42 Enhancement Converters. (They look like this: Enhancement Converter.) These sell from 60,000 to 65,000 each. Sometimes up to 70,000. 42 x 60,000 is 2.5 million, minus seller's fees. Now you're a millionaire, and you've never left the starter zone! If you've been lucky enough to loot orange salvage, this is another few million in your pocket.
  3. I'm starting a new Elect/Elect blaster, and wanted to see which powers I should take and which to avoid? I have no problem with smacking something that gets too close in the face, but would rather shoot them before they get that close.
  4. AHA! It wasn't "taking" when I switched the stance to Original using the dropdown menu. I had to use the scroll buttons to select it instead! Thanks a bunch! I was on the verge of deleting and rerolling him.
  5. I just made a Street Justice brute "Boxer" character, and naturally picked SR for the boxer-like footwork animation. Is there anything I should build towards or avoid while I'm leveling?
  6. Well, I don't have a sugar daddy or an alt to power level me, so maybe I should wait and respec. Thanks for replying!
  7. I have Athletic Run, but I'm flipping around like Ninja Run is activated. It is driving me nuts, and I can't figure out a solution. I double-check with the P2W vendor and confirmed I purchased Athletic Run and not Ninja Run.
  8. I've started leveling a Thugs/Poison build (level 18 right now) and I *know* I'm going to screw it up. That's my IRL superpower, screwing things up. I'd like to push the envelope as far as DPS, because that's what wakies are for.
  9. I was interested in your high DPS build in an old thread, but could not get to open in MRB v3.3.6 Page 6. Do you have it saved as a .mbd? I'm tired of my tanks, trollers, and MMs and want to live in the Danger Zone a bit.
  10. I get enough experience with pets with my MMs, so I want to make a terrifying speeder that doesn't have to babysit spiderlings. Is such a build viable? Does anyone have a buidl?
  11. Do you happen to have a build you'd recommend? I'm about to roll my first controller since Live and picked Grav/Time because it sounds so neat.
  12. Oh, man! I was only trying to cut down on forum spam! 😄
  13. I'm running an Axe/Inv brute right now and LOVING Axe. It's certainly an option for a Tank, just not this one. 👍
  14. I get on a tear when making alts, and it would be great to just check Hyperstike's builds instead of making a new thread for each build that I want to try. @Hyperstrike
  15. I'm working on a "black hole" concept tanker. At first I was going WP/DM, then thought perhaps Dark/Dark was the way to go A friend mentioned Rad/ might work better for protection + damage, and you can look at it as all the radiation that a black hole spits out. I'll be mostly soloing, with the occasional PUG or PUG TF. EDIT: Fold Space will be taken, no matter what powerset I choose. I'm totally flying blind, as this is my first tanker since Live. Any info or tips that anyone could provide are appreciated! Oh, and here is his ugly mug:
