  1. It's got nothing to do with your character's level. There are just certain sets where the only overlap is at one point that won't convert as attuned. The recharge intensive pet ones are another example that only convert at 30. You can either go through the process of selling your attuned, rebuying at 30, converting, selling the 30 and rebuying attuned, or just buy the shield breaker outright.

  2. probably tough from the fighting pool. increase density will take it but you said it wasn't in your primary or secondary. but if you want -kb with what you have now the easiest move would be blessing of the zephyr in ss or sj. karma in maneuvers would also work.

  3. The essence transfer proc isn't particularly useful, i just used it in OD because i wanted the 5% melee defense a 6th slot of superior gives.

65% global recharge bonus... is that with hasten unclicked? mine's 156 which gives me perma eclipse and hasten pretty comfortably but is still longer than I'd like for quasar. If i could get it any higher I would (ok it is higher from always running base buff 20% and offensive amplifier's 15, but y'know what i mean).

As to Overwhelming force in a toggle, I haven't tried but I'd worry it might cause problems stacking with other powers the way the avalanche one does in auras. It might not but I hate respecs so much the chance is enough to make me not try.

  4. That'd work, accuracy definitely, can skip the end reduction with stygian circle, but you might be better served using it for set bonuses and proccing elsewhere. Warshade builds are so tight I'd be surprised if you have more than one or two places you can go for procs and one of them should be gravity well. I stuck my 6 slotted essence transfer in orbiting death, as it was about the only place i didn't need a kb to kd.

  5. ^^^ unless its DDR got raised accordingly it's better off not as a toggle. You can either keep it auto and try to remember hasten or set up binds to change the auto power as you move or attack. I have mine set up as /bind 1 "$$powexec_slot 1$$powexecauto active defense" /bind 2 "$$powexec_slot 2$$powexecauto hasten" and it works out well. Of course if you're a tray clicker you should bind to your movement keys.

  6. You could always just not kill towers or the flyer to add some extra difficulty. About half the teams I do it with don't even bother with the red tower anymore. The thread you mentioned would make me leery of the changes you mentioned since evidently casual teams are still having troubles. I wasn't aware of the crafting station thing but that bit definitely should be fixed. I didn't even know those worked in combat or drew aggro.

I don't know how to glitch Recluse by hover tanking him, and it probably requires twitch skills that I no longer have.

no twitches needed. just jetpack high up near one of the poles around the middle and keep taunting him. he'll run up the pole and try to hit you but most of his attacks can't. Repeat until the team's done with the towers. I've done it on an underleveled brute.

Sorry I'm late to the party here, but I had a build that showed Avalanche: Recharge/Chance For Knockdown in Burn. When I lay a burn patch, some bad guys go flinging through the air. Is there a reason for this that I'm not understanding? (And believe me, I don't understand a LOT of things.)

From what i understand (Pine explained it to me a while back) it's because burn has an upfront damage tick then a pseudopet for the patch. Avalanche can proc on both in which case it stacks and converts to kb, i.e. >1.0 mag

  9. Yeah back when i was still doing the converter game i'd list miracles for 3 and they'd routinely display bug themselves into 12-15 sales. I kinda felt bad about it but not our fault if folks just auto-bid the last displayed.

  10. If your concern is 'fair market value' you can always just bid creep. Most folks put things up for the minimum they're willing to get. If i had to arbitrarily guess at a starting bid that'd ensure profit for the seller i'd think 500k for crafted crap (converter fodder), 1 mil for crafted useful but not highly sought (tstrikes, gaussians, perf shifter, e.g.), 2 mil for sought after but not premium (resist or heal sets, e.g.), 3 mil for premium. (uniques, defense, e.g.). Purples, pvps, winters and ATOs the bid history is usually a good indicator. Note these could be higher than what you might get it for if you're patient or lucky or weren't concerned with being that guy who bids 1 inf. Then just creep til you get it if you want it now or leave a bid where you feel comfortable and wait.

  11. For me kb to kd turned human only shade into one of my favorite characters. I absolutely hated khelds on live. Here's my build - it depends on defensive amplifier pretty heavily to stop mez as i went ageless instead of clarion. melee hybrid provides break free for when mez gets past that and my defenses.

  12. mine's been randomly shutting off since the last patch too. i initially thought i'd just taken it off to ghost and forgot but it's happened several times now that i'm positive i didn't turn it off.

Has anyone made a build for Poison/DP?  Does the extra -damage from Toxic ammo help much?

it's hard to tell as it's a beast anyway but it certainly doesn't hurt. note that the build depends on defensive amplifier as I always use that instead of clarion

  14. Just sell yours on the AH and rebuy the attuned version. It'll be cheaper even with the fees than the price of the catalyst. If you've got catalysts to burn beyond what you need for your ATO/Winters just sell them too. But I agree what you suggest would be nice. Really I'd love it if the entire enhancement combining interface was redone but it's obviously not a huge priority since even though it's slow and clunky it mostly works.

The crafted IO supply is also low, especially for certain purple sets. And I am someone who builds expensive builds, every character I bother to take all the way to 50 gets an "ideal" build as I set it up and to do what I want it to do and I buy as many purples as is required to achieve that ideal build and such. Like I do alot of things that require high recharge and I'm counting recharge bonuses to make sure I don't get more than 5 of a type (usually only necesary watching the 7.5s cause luck of the gambler bonuses overlap with some set bonuses)

to your first point about 'certain purple sets' - that's what converters are for.

as to your last bit - check your set bonuses in-game and you'll see that luck of the gambler's 7.5 is listed differently than any other 7.5. can have 5x of both.

  16. They already provided a fantastic solution to the problem of having the right salvage when they bucketed it all together in the auction house. I keep a rack with the things i need for the recovery, recharge, and end drain resist base buffs i always run. Everything else gets vendored or ah'd. When I need other salvage I just buy it. I wouldn't go back to salvage hoarding if there were room for 1k/rack.
