  1. Any particular spot where one should look for the glowie? been traveling the map and cannot locate it. Not hearing the usual humming... EDIT: ah I see now, you must run it again via Ouro. Very nice. Also the Mender you meet is a nod to a story that was wrapped in Season 3 of babylon 5 and the badge name is directly taken from Star Trek.
  2. When I went to Port Oakes to get the ghosts I was vigilante, gained the badges by defeating 10 then trapping the rest.
  3. Suggest trying the Drowning in Blood trial, I think the CoT in there will help. My badge hunter does have that badge, just can't recall where/when he got it.
  4. It's worth doing, you get eight inspirations thanks to the glowies and I kept getting some pretty good recipe rewards at the end, plus this is a badge set worth getting out of the way fast as possible
  5. Enter regular sewers, there should be a door on the right for the abandoned sewers.
  6. ACtually I am set to reject inspirations right now and you still get an inspiration when the glowie was clicked. Oddly they were all tier 2 blue insps.
  7. Use empowerment station in your sg base Give yourself a run boost, flight speed boost if you fly, smash resist, lethal rsist, hold resist, immobiilize resist, and Grant invisibility. That last one is most important to stealh this trial the others are secondary and precautions Combine grant invisibility with Stealth power pool and you can ghost with ease. I fly at ceiling level, if there is anyone near a glowie I get behind it to ensure line of site is broken, click it, wait a moment after it's done then move on Fly above and past the final monster and his mob then take out the two guarding the hostage, and the monster won't be aggro. Fastest time for me so far was 4 minutes 30 seconds Edit: wrapped up the badg today. Fastest run time three minutes thirty seconds
  8. Yes but the L30 craft badges increase salvage storage and L50 badges increase recipe storage and you can make some of the money back from selling the IO's on the market.
  9. I like the current event also, but it is a bit messed up. If they cannot correct it, then perhaps reverting it is possible? Or modify it so that paladin spawns at the same frequency as jack, eochai and other Giants, remove the health bar, and remove the psychic emanators.
  10. The emanator dots I saw on the map were way South of the hyde Park area. Leave that area and the dot and health bar disappear. Possible team effort to get the emanators....one stays in the area and marks the spot on map with thumb tack? The shining stars: I shall clarify my above statement, I have been In Hyde Park with paladin health meter up, but no property damage bar showing. They are standing in their designated spot doing nothing and not being attacked by the knight errants. No knight errants are there, so I think that is indication of either a bug or paladin was beaten but the reset/repawn didn't happen. I checked that spot another time when there was a health meter and no shining stars Perhaps the paladin event should be reverted back to it's original form?
  11. Hmmm interesting, a twenty minute respawn and yet the health meter is bugged.... Remember back in the day the paladin was built in three spots and if not stopped there could be three of them rumbling through Kings row? Now we have him spawning apparently every twenty minutes after being defeated, but a buggy health bar.....unless perhaps the twenty minute respawn is occurring regardless of the previous one being beaten or not and we may have multiple paladin's or the system thinks there is when there isn't and thus the Heath bar gets bugged. Also the psi emanators kept showing as dots all over the Kings row map but if you leave the hyde Park area, the dot and health meter disappear. Also I have seen no giant monster alert messages from the system about paladin spawning in KR. I see them for croatoa, war walker, ghost ship, adamaztor, deathsurge, scrapyard, even Caleb and the flyer, jurassik and Babbage. None for paladin. Also if the shining stars are just standing around.and not under attack then paladin is likely not around
  12. Well after a few days of hunting I managed to stumbled onto a Paladin event. As far as I can tell: 1. it appears to be a timed event, like in the old days 2. If you are in the northwest area of KR the Paladin health meter may appear on screen but that doesn't guarantee it is spawned as the meter in the popup window did NOT drop when we fought him. IT still showed 100 health after he was downed. 3. The map will show marker for psionic emanator but they appear all over the place and if you leave the area of KR the map marker and health window for paladin disappear from screen. 4. If his health window appears and there is property damage occurring then he is spawned, search the entire area, the alleyways the parks, etc. and with luck you find him. 5. The Shining Stars are also attacked by a group of Clockwork called Knight Errant. No apparent bonus for rescuing the Shining Stars, but beating Paladin gives merits, badge and a temp power to summon a Knight Errant, good for 5 uses. Good hunting!
  13. I checked earlier but it is possible I missed it, as I have so many badges now. Is it under accomplishment or achievement?
  14. Now it only monkeys appeared on the ship raids 8)
  15. Hmmm. Been testing with spawn size five and boss set to yes. Spawn size else but will spawn bosses of course, but am trying to check the lower settings as well for the sake of squishy alts. So far spawn five and boss yes seems to be the minimum needed but still testing
  16. Ah, I see the confusion here. I mention the level caps for those that out level badges then go back to get them Volcanic is one of my least favorite badge hunts as the magma bosses are not always prolific in the hollows for a nice high level street sweeps, thus some may want to use missions to hunt them and the ones I posted appear to be the only ones with them.
  17. Completed a morality mission via tips, badge did not award. is it gone from the game? https://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Made_a_Stand_Badge
  18. If you are really serious about getting a badge and worried about leveling out of it, you can always turn off XP: Menu->Options...Scroll down towards the bottom... not worried at all about outleveling a badge, I always get to 50 first then go back for the badges.
  19. Ugh, not one of my favorite badge hunts. Trophy badge, not an accolades component as I recall Method one: patrol in the central area of the holllows, defeat any pumacites you find and if you see a burning patch of ground, stand over it with a damage aura active and the pumacites below will emerge and should be a magma boss. But their spawn rate seems a bit low Enter the troll tunnels and as you blast the troll bosses for that badge you may find some pumicites and magma bosses. Spawn rate may be a bit low again. Or you can attempt to solo the cavern of transcendence trial the last stage is pumicites and some magma bosses. Clear the bosses, then log out to reset the mission and repeat, but the hazard of this is the trial caps at level 15. OR there is one other mission that caps you around level 20, part one of who will die, the signature story arc. Mission 1, ghost to the boss and defeat him and his goons then flee the level and as you do there will be pumicites and if you set to solo boss yes and group size five or greater then there should be magma Lord's for the badge. Defeat as many as you can don't worry about the timer. Mission two:. Click two of the glowies and wipe out all pumicites then stand at the entrance of the final room and face pumicites as they ambush you. If you get thru that then click the final glowies and beat the boss and guards. Mission 3: aerial attack the magma bosses, after they are all downed, log out to reset the mission and repeat this mission until the badge dings. Per Paragon wiki there do not appear to be any other missions with rock men and magma bosses.
  20. This gladiator badge is a trophy badge and not an accolades component badge as I recall. It's description in your badge list will only show question marks and the tracking bar. You need 100 of them and lieutenant and minion do not count. So after some testing if you are a solo badge Hunter, set your difficulty to: solo boss yes and enemy spawn size of 5, or more if you are tough enough. Then get a mission vs arachnos and the MU guardians may spawn in it, or not. Reset the mission as needed OR since we can now solo taskforces, go start a statesman/Ms liberty task force and check the entire map, especially inside the facility after you go down the ramp. Arachnos are on all the floors and you should find mu guardians aplenty.....and their fellow goons to plow through as well. Great way to work debt, money, damage received, damage inflicted, as well as Mu guardians. This mission is also nice if you are hunting toxic tarantulas, rather then patrolling grandville Or... Go to recluse victory and patrol the arachnos entrance to the zone. My guardians frequently spawn there and hover or fly around the area. The hazards of this is that you can't get too close to the base entrance or the drones get you, and of course other pvp players may interfere. However I found this to be less hazardous then mission one of Ms liberty taskforce.
  21. Check the rooftops along the east side of rwz from the rikti ship all the way down. Plenty of monkeys for the badge
  22. Any updates on any possible new badge Hunter tracking sites?
  23. Possibly for the Gladiator badge, the defeat one appeared to be the standard 500 kills
  24. There are 2 gladiator badges that only show ??? rather then the target name required for the badge. After some quick checks of my notes from the old days and a quick conformation by blasting a few targets I have verified that they are the gladiator badges for defeating 100 Mu guardians and 100 Force Field Generators summoned by the Raider Engineers of the Sky Raiders. This is a legacy glitch from the First Era of CoH, just posting about it as an FYI EDIT: while hunting Prisoners, I noticed that the description for the Gladiator badge for Prisoner bosses reads as 100 required but when you check the progress bar it shows 200 required. EDIT 2: while hunting prisoners, I saw that the Lieutenants around the prison counted towards the gladiator badge.
