Instead of that, make it so that once a day, a door somewhere in the city leads to the secret apartment of Statesman. It provides some cool background lore and you end up fighting a group of tough Elite Bosses (or AVs on larger teams) who are there to steal valuables from the late, great hero. Mission reward – 1000 Reward Merits. You get a 25 minute timer once the mission starts in order to form a team to help you should you be solo. Once the timer is out, the mission closes and doesn't become available until the next day when a new door is randomly selected to host it. I like it.

For the sake of realism, 99 out of 100 of those random door clicks would just take you into somebody's apartment, at which point they are screaming at you to get out before they call the cops. The 100th instance gives you some short, slam-bam mission with great rewards.

Yeah, that kind of stuff should go to private chat. Don't know if you've already done this, but I remove Broadcast and Help from my main tab. Help already has its own tab and I set up a tab for Broadcast. Really cuts down on the irrelevancies scrolling across my screen.

I would love to produce a comic series on my main (PSLAnimal, obviously) and my wife's main (Mrs. Animal.) I can write a fair piece but unfortunately have the artistic talent of a grunion. As evidence I offer a series of self-portraits I did a few years back in an attempt to demonstrate my range of emotional expression.

My whole family loves Frostfire. We always spend 10-15 minutes skiing around the one big room with all the ice slides.

I had a hippie character, a Plant Control/Nature Affinity Controller. His name: "Faroutman." I also had a Dual Blades/Super Reflexes scrappers who wore white martial arts robes, had as horrible a FuManchu mustache as I could find, a conical hat, and used two katanas. He was at teh very bottom of the height scale. His name: "Won Hung Lo." And then there was my Bots/Traps Mastermind, Seymour Butz.

People like that are why we have /ignore.

I was pushing fifty when the servers went dark. In my late fifties now. Got two (out of four) more kids through college. Still running the same one-man consulting business I was then. Two more grandkids. So I haven't changed much, but things around me have. Life is water, not stone.

I suspect that NCSoft won't be too interested, now that the toothpaste is well and truly out of the tube, in engaging in a never-ending game of Whack-A-Mole to attack every private server that pops up. Here's the smart play for NCSoft: "Hey, guys, this rise of private CoX servers has made us realize we effed up. Tell you all what; we'll turn our servers back on; you can have all your original characters back with their progress intact. We'll give you a year free, following which we'll ask maybe $9.99 a month to finance a minimal development team so you can have some cool new stuff now and then." I suspect old CoX fans would go flooding back. Hell, I would.

Wasn’t Tic-Tok on Justice BABs (Christopher Bruce’s) private character? I think it was something like that. Beats me. I tanked alongside him at a few Hami raids, though.
