  1. I have placed a Midnighter Loremaster in my base as a test. Seems to work as intended. I also have a Vanguard Trainer and it is still functional as well. Tried placing a second Midnighter LM in Entrance room and it works as well, all three at the same time. Not sure what is up but whatever it is, is specific to your base or shard, My tests were on my bases on Reunion and Excelsior. I also created a new toon on Reunion, created a SG and SG base, and was able to place a Midnighter LM and Vanguard Trainer in the raw base and they worked as intended. What Shard are you on? What room are you placing the NPC in? Does the Vanguard Trainer work if placed?
  2. I've been noticing some changes to the strength of their Taunt as well, and noticed a confuse effect from one of the other Crey, I think Crey Crisis Units, that since I'm solo, just detargets all enemies since no team mate is present to "confuse" me to attack. Really Odd, and I don't recall that happening before.
  3. You know what, I'm willing to read through multiple pages of posts to get as much info as possible before even considering whether to comment, Then along comes a unneeded comment like this that has no bearing on the discussion and let's me know that even well informed and thought out responses are unwelcome if they don't support the OP. I really will just show myself out.
  4. Very sad news, Good Hunting wherever you are...
  5. Has it worked in the past and stopped working or is this an initial setup. I have a similar video card but only a single monitor and ditched Adrenaline and just use the basic driver. Have never really had any issues running Homecoming or anything else, just wanted to avoid the bloat of the graphics package. My specs:
  6. Have always seen this piece of wall art and thought this must be a photoshop mod of a Dev, Player or CoH Staff Selfie. Anyone ever heard anything? It is way more Photo realistic than anything else in the game and have always been curious if there is a story behind it.
  7. If I get on Excelsior I have no lag or rubber banding, which this idiot's experience tells me the issue is not on the server end unless under heavier load when you connect, there were lag issues back when the game was live when under heavy loads, so it can certainly happen here. Depending on where you are, you may jump through multiple ISPs on your way to connect to Homecoming in Canada, something a speed test doesn't cover. All the shards are in the same place except Reunion which is in Germany, so load is the only variant between the NA shards. I would also run /netgraph 1, it may give you some idea what is happening. Running /netgraph 1 in game puts a little connection monitor in the lower right corner of your screen. Out of the way and you can let run while playing. In the chat line type: /netgraph 1 to turn off /netgraph 0 Interpreting the netgraph: Spike shape: The height of the bar representing server ping time in milliseconds. Short is good, long is bad. Green bars represent received packets. Short = normal/good Long = low bandwidth. Yellow bars represent retransmitted packets. Short = ISP/Router issues Red bars represent dropped packets Short = ISP/Router issues Blocks of Red = Interrupted communications
  8. Provost Marchand arc competion also places Pendragon, Aurora Pena and Alec Parson at the Brickstown Tram Station.
  9. Most of the AE badges are Global, as well as some of the ones that the GMs award on Special Occasions.
  10. If using The HC Launcher You may also try rebooting your modem and router, they sometimes need that in order to connect properly.
  11. How Old? Homecoming is a fresh start, so Characters from the Original game or SCoRE server are not available here. If you follow the instructions to install the Homecoming Launcher and create a game account you'll be playing in no time. If you have been on Homecoming before, try Verifying Files and Checking for updates by clicking the 3 dots. Welcome back.
  12. I would look to see if maybe there is an errant object, either embedded in the wall or such that is interfering with it's removal. Check current room, all objects list to see if this is the case then delete from there. Exit base to allow it to reload , then see if you can remove the wall section. Fingers crossed.
  13. Has been brought up before, seems that map's issue is persistent regardless of the mission it is used for.
  14. With the 32 bit Client all but a thing of the past, there would need to be something to change the 32 bit files to 64 bit to be compatible with the game at this point. Senticon can convert The Sentinal+ 32 bit files to something the Old Game ( or Titan Icon, Paragon Chat ) could use but not for the 64 bit Client without some additional work. This, if it worked, would be just the costume files since everybody starts fresh here,
  15. I realize that almost no one goes to the Shadow Shard but Soldiers of Rularu Watchers, Observers and Overseers refuse to accept that Defense is a thing. They cut right through your pricey defense enhancements like they aren't even there and start picking you apart, piece by piece. Nemesis Guys who start shooting at you from extreme range from who knows where the minute you enter a room or map section, while their buddies keep you busy. and I historically hate Sappers...especially the flying ones....
  16. Just go to Menu, Options, Graphics and Audio, and then select the Screen Resolution that you prefer. The Enhancement screen pic is as I have always seen it, not sure that will change.
  17. What Launcher are you using? What shard are you trying to connect to? If it's one of the NA shards, try connecting to Reunion which is in Europe. If it's Reunion try any of the NA shards. If you can't connect to any of them it is most likely a local issue. I would reboot your PC, Router and Modem. If that doesn't work go to the three dots in the HC Lancher ( if that's what you are using ) and select " check for updates ", and if that doesn't fix it select " Verify ". Hopefully that will get you going but let us know.
  18. It does, you just don't get the 2 additional badges, "Rule of Three" and "Dam Hero". From the Wiki: Old Positron Task Force - Unofficial Homecoming Wiki
  19. You may want to take a look at this link. Titan Network has an app available to extract costume files from Sentinel+ to Senticon to use in Titan Icon or Paragon Chat. This would allow you to view your saved costumes to assist in recreating them on Homecoming. Since Homecoming is now working on going full 64 bit I don't know if after you convert them you may be able to load them in the 32 bit client, but hopefully the Titan Icon view will be helpful either way. 20. The Rule Three gives 11 Merits. Dam Hero gives 15 Merits. Old Posi TF gives 66 Merits. I usually do all 3, but Old Posi is way better merit wise.
  21. Yes, but you only get the Original Badge, "Positron's Ally" for the Taskforce instead of "Rule of Three", "Dam Hero" and "Positron's Ally" Badges.
  22. I would go to Ms Liberty and select "choose my active build" to see if you got switched to build 2. Just a thought. If not switched, switch it then switch it back to see if it will restore the enhancements.
  23. I would actually prefer that if there is going to be a Statesman in COH it is because somebody else picked up the Mantle and made it their own. How many Captain Marvels, Green Lanterns, Captain Americas, Spidermans, Robins, etc. have we had so far? That would give it a fresh start without any baggage and not spoil the existing lore. He could be a relative if it worked for the story and could have entirely different powers since "Statesman" doesn't really define his abilities like say, "Fire Dude" would. This would expand where they could go moving forward and allow many more creative opportunities.
  24. The Only limit would have to be the amount of debt a character can have at any time, which would vary by level. This would determine the amount a loan could be. This would clash with the purpose of Debt as it is because you would already be at the Debt cap if you were defeated, but having 10 million plus loans would be beyond the Debt Cap limits. At lower levels where you just need a little Influence for a few Enhancements it could be worthwhile. However XP debt is repayed from experience not influence so I don't know if this is even viable.
  25. A variation on this might be to have the Tellers capable of Storing Influence in an account for you and offering all the possible conversions of currency from one type to another. That really seems like a job a Bank could be doing anyway.
