  1. Had same thing happen on same map but different mission back in early February.
  2. Have had this happen several times, not sure if it is an artifact from a listed item or just a glitch, but always is a 1 for me. Logging out and back into toon does not clear it but quitting to desktop does, not sure what it is.
  3. There is a button in "options, windows" to set Chat Tabs "from Default" or save "to Default" but it doesn't seem to roll back changes made to the tab if you have no saved config, rather it allows you to Save your tab preferences as a file, so you can load them onto new characters, Close, but not quite what you were looking for.
  4. ( Copied from a previous post ) You may want to check your connection to see if anything is going on there. While connected to game server, type in the Chat " /netgraph 1 " without quotes, " /netgraph 0 " turns it off. Even though you can play other games with no issues there may be an issue getting to the Homecoming server due to the path it uses to connect. While it is on ,in the lower right corner of the screen, you will see a series of bars, what these mean is as follows... Interpreting the netgraph: Spike shape: The height of the bar representing server ping time in milliseconds. Short is good, long is bad. Green bars represent received packets. Short = normal/good Long = low bandwidth. Yellow bars represent retransmitted packets. Short = ISP/Router issues Red bars represent dropped packets Short = ISP/Router issues Blocks of Red = Interrupted communications You can also try pinging the server, at a Command Prompt, ( search pc for cmd and it should be in the results ), type the following: " ping 51.161.76.201 -t " without quotes and hit enter. if the response time varies greatly or hangs there is a connection issue.
  5. Not exactly, Echo: Faultline and Echo: Dark Astoria still have the Historic Mobs from their original state. Echo: Faultline is the quickest way to get Gearsmasher as there are Clockwork Princes in Abundance along the eastern side and Badge Hunting ( at the zones level ) is extremely challenging with a lot of the Badges at the bottom of Crevasses with lots of Circle of Thorns loitering around. Same in the case of Echo: Dark Astoria, getting the Badges there can be a bit of work if you are around the zones level range. Those 2 can still be entertaining.
  6. Yep, seems the map has a Hidden Area.
  7. Tried /stuck, 5 times, did nothing. Not sure why. Spastic jumping, nothing. The Jet pack finally got me loose, glad because I had all but completed the mission. Thought about posting to Geometry Thread but it seems more like a chair where it doesn't belong, except it's a rock. I should have taken a Screenshot while stuck but didn't think of it till after I was free. Only thought I had was it might be a Boulder thrown by a Granite or Sentry that for whatever reason didn't derez. I will check that location the next time I have a mission on that map to see if it is a persistent map feature or it was just a glitch.
  8. In the "Alter Portal Devices" mission I was leaping up from the lower level of the Map and encountered a floating, angry rock that I became embedded in. Took me about 5 minutes of changing directions with Jet Pack activated to finally break free, the upper half of my toon was stuck in the rock. It is just hanging there beside the rock face, taunting me. anyway.....
  9. Also make sure you are using your Game Account Password, it is separate from your Forum Password and can be reset at the Game Account tab at the top of this page.
  10. The leveling pace slows down dramatically after you pass 20 and continues to slow as it takes more and more XP to hit the next level. If you are at -1 x 0 ( or 1 ) you will get the least XP for your efforts, may be worth nudging it up and see how it goes, you can always turn it back down. Patrol XP helps but if you really want a boost you should check out the START Vendor who has several XP Boosts available.
  11. Since you can log in to forums this should be an easy one. At the top of this page click "Game Account". In the list select "Game Account" and it will display your "User Name", if you have chosen one and allow you to reset the Password. The Forum Username and Password will not get you in the Game, only the Game Account Username and Password. Be sure to Document your choices for security reasons.
  12. I really didn't have any issues with the movie. I thought it was a unique movie that was set slightly outside where the rest of the Marvel films reside. The amount of Cash it brought in was good for a fringe movie, unlike Guardians of the Galaxy which I think surprised everyone with its success, including Marvel. Not every movie will be Infinity War / Endgame. I liked Quantumania, but thinking that it would pull in Endgame numbers was not to be expected based on the first 2 films viewership. I prefer to see what happens as they go forward, with the X-Men on the horizon and Doomsday and Secret Wars on the way, I feel something like Thunderbolts will probably get smacked with the " Not Endgame " stick instead of being judged on its own merits. Just my 2 cents worth.
  13. The one that always gets me is Cottage Cheese. I love it but I have accidently nearly created it when a Milk jug got buried in the back of the fridge. Would I put that in my mouth? Nope. Someone was really hungry the day that was created.

  15. I noticed that the last time I did it, started on the first floor and eventually it went away, but when I exited the elevator onto the 2nd floor it was back. May be a bug in the mission or power parameters. Just a guess but you may not receive the Crey Narcotic if you defeat the NPC responsible for dosing you from range, who knows.
  16. Exactly, if you look at your Buff / Debuff Bar you will find "Crey Narcotic" listed, if you right click it will show its debuffs. Crey Narcotic Description The Crey scientists have injected you with a narcotic that slows your movement speed, attack speed, and endurance recovery! After completing your mission, you should seek help from your contact. If you cannot reach your contact, the effect should wear off. How to Get To obtain this temporary power, obtain the Investigate the Crey lab mission assigned by Janet Kellum. Power Summary Duration Until mission completed, or until you speak to your contact (If Janet Kellum is not one of your contacts, speak to one of your current contacts instead) Effects Self -Regeneration, -Recovery, -Health, -Endurance
  17. I really feel the love when a Crey Juggernaut Taunts me, throws up his force field, then runs out of targeting range, What was that?
  18. I actually play without sound a lot. My workaround is to plug in headphones and then set them off the side of my desk, only putting them on when I need to find a glowie or want to hear something. Makes it easier for me to keep track of the Boss ( our dog Sheila ) and make sure her needs are being met ( and that she is not in the trash or running through the house with underwear in her mouth, not kidding ).
  19. But they work great going up. If you slot an Attuned Enhancement at level 30, that has say a minimum level of 21, and a range from 21 to 40. It will improve with you as you level till it hits it's maximum boost level at 40, but will provide the level 40 benefits indefinitely.
  20. If you can't even get in game I would try setting up a continuous ping to see if there are any interruptions in your connections. At a Command Prompt type the line within the quotation marks " ping 51.161.76.201 -t " and let it run a while. Mine comes back between 40 - 43ms. If you see a huge variation in the response times there is an issue somewhere between your PC and Homecoming, but let's just start there. Also try connecting to Reunion since it is a completely different server using different access. If it connects and is good that shows it is something on the Hop Path to Homecomings NA server. Let us know what you find.
  21. In looking through the Wiki I came upon this information regarding Crafted Temp powers. Seems it already exists in a fashion, but could be expanded upon to add more items. Specific Inventions Main Article: Invention Origin Enhancements The core of the Invention System is the creation of Invention Origin Enhancements. Costume Pieces Main Article: Invention Made Costumes A number of animated costume pieces can be created with the system, including various kinds of wings and special boots. Temporary Powers Main Article: Invention Temporary Powers There are a number of temporary powers craftable with the inventions system from recipes. Temporary powers may also be crafted from Empowerment Stations in bases. Inspirations There are currently no Inspirations that can be crafted. Base Items Main Article: Crafted Base Items As of Issue 13, crafted base items require Invention Salvage to create, rather than components made from base salvage. Base salvage no longer drops, but can be converted into invention salvage via brain storms.
  22. Another approach might be to keep it as easy to implement as possible. How about as part of the character creation process or in the Personal Information for each Character, you can set an existing Villain Group to be your Nemesis/Arch Enemies. They may then spawn as an ambush outside missions, or be more hostile to you in missions as a result. No special Assets would need to be created and just a spawn methodology set up. That would teach you to go AFK a lot less out in the wide open, lol.
  23. Going this route may allow Homecoming to use an already available chunk of programming, Base Salvage, which is currently disabled, but it could be repurposed for the Salvage Kit. The Tabs and graphics are all still in the code, and all it would require is to work out the award process and recipes.
  24. Would it help to remove NPC Chat from your main Chat Tab, then you would have to be looking at them or they would need to be in your view to even be aware they said anything.
  25. Just thinking it might be a neat Power Pool to be able to take Tech from Enemy Groups or even Allies, and rework it to serve you. Such things, off the top of my head include: Rikti Drones Longbow Web grenade Longbow EMP Grenade Sky Raider Sheild Generators Clockwork Tesla Knights Nemesis Triage Crey Medic Hypo Circle of Thorns Crystals Praetorian Clockwork Repair Bot Wouldn't want to get too carried away on Offensive pets but more on the Buff or Heal type gear. Mostly tech that could be reprogrammed or repurposed to serve you, much like Lore Pets but not as powerful. It would be similar to Gadgetry but Salvaged Tech rather than created. Any Thoughts?
