Great ideas! I think... Cinnamon Sting, that's a good one! Yeah! I will go with that! Plants is very stingy power on a blaster as well. Like it!
-
@TrixieKixx I am going for arrows with this one, please sign me up with Cinnamon Arrow. His secondary is Nature, for the record. Not sure if the name will stay, I am not quite 100% happy with it. But for now it will do, unless I can come up with something more ... pointed π

Also, great follow-up with half the team and a couple of PUGs afterwards on Mortimer Kal! I'm at lvl42 now with Bananiac, and having those flames ready for the Time of Incarnation will be a great asset! This is also a fast and fun SF, it's a shame it doesn't happen more often!

Wow, those shots from you gyus @FrauleinMental & @Midnyte turned out great! Especially the close-ups of everybody, really takes some appreciation of those costumes and effects! This was again a very fun theme, @TrixieKixx I think those Powerset-centered teams always feel very unusal and exciting! The documentation from yesterday looks rather complete, I don't have anything of relevance to add, I think! So, just a few more personal observations from what I would now like to coin the "Vegan Fury" Theme Team: This being an all-plants themed team, I remember a lot of discussion about meat! π You can Seed of Confusion turrets and Entangle gun pods! Eat this, machines! What I would give for a better 3D representation of the maps! I struggle with orientation often enough, even without those multi-layered office- and base-layouts. Rightfully being laughed at for this by you guys! π. I should have stepped back and just watch the people go to work every once in a while. I just really like the visuals and FX of the Plant/Nature powers, and the costumes and concepts that you created. This gets lost in the heat of action way too much to appreciate it! Looking forward to next weeks All-Blasters Run, which is one of my favorite Archetypes (apparently, just going by the numbers of toons I built...)! I'm sure it will be... wait for it... A Blast! ...bet nobody saw that pun coming! π Ah, wait. I got one for this weeks Bonus Pic: A Study In Mystic Fortune, by Bananiac (Model: FrΓ€ulein Mental)

This is of course technically possible, but you know, I am more of a "Power-Alting"-Guy. That means within the first 2 weeks I had about 3-4 pages of toons up at LvL12ish or so π And this was just the beginning... I notice, however, that recently my behavior changed a little. It's been a while that I created a new toon that stuck around. I am now power-alting on endgame, it seems. π Having shortlisted 12...15 characters in their late 30ies to early 40ies that I am actually now slowly pushing to 50. People were right, Incarnates add a new dimension to any toon, and this started a whole new kind of fascination and collectors addiction.

For future reference (and this has absolutely nothing to do with me getting lost a couple of times trying to do this!) I took a few quick screenshots of the map layouts. After a couple of runs I kinda get around now on my own, but others may find it helpfull. The most difficult part now became finding the Knives in the office and the Glowies in the storage facilty. They seem to start taking extra effort to hide at most unusal places, those little suckers...

Today 2 years ago. Of course that Level50 part is a little exagerated, as far as I am concerned. But I think you get the idea....
-
Okay, in this case I take this idea and run away with it πββοΈ

How Convenient. You can water your Carrion Creepers right there with some gentle steam spray. Name her "The Gardener"! π¦π±π€

@TrixieKixx Bananiac as ready as he will ever get! (That would be a Plant/Rad Controller, btw)
-
Oh yes! That's so true! π

As usual, @FrauleinMental and @Midnyte are much faster than me with their recaps. It is always tough to add something of relevance to that, but here we go anyway π Here my little thoughts on what I absolutely have to call the "We will always have Cap Au Diable" Theme Team Run! - Hollywood would have been proud of that Kick-Ass team of Celebrity Movie Stars! - I am again amazed at what the turnout was and how everybody brought their own style and ideas to the team. - Double-Iced opposition is very helpless, beginners threat level. - Interesting to see Containment just melt away the enemies with Controllers, Dominators and Widows all throwing in their weight (Shoutout to the Blaster with the Blinding Arrow on Auto π ) Some more impressions from yesterday. I just HAD TO run this through the B&W filter! Thinking about it, I guess Hollywood Paragon-Style wouldn't be at all unrealistic to have a robotic movie star in their line-ups... Carefull with those barb-wire bracelets π Getting in position... to have another drink. The Grande Finale blasting away at furious zombie hordes You gotta have to give it to @Midnyte for going All-In on Mrs Bacall! π π Bonus Pic: Good Karma was created, culminating in Ocean Goddess taking it to the finals in the Costume Contest later that day! Gratulations (I guess again, as this seems to be a habit of yours to roll in those accolades, Midnyte π ) See you all next week!

Excellent Captions, @FrauleinMental! Thank you very much! Great choice of character as well! Really lighted it up a notch, glad you took the effort π
-
That's an easy decision, isn't it?
-
The only info I needed: 1. Point glowy end at Hydra Head 2. Pull Trigger .... (4. On every other try: Rez) π
-
Tactical Arrol... of course! π€£ The pointy hat will be a tough one! Plenty of thighs options, though! π
-
@TrixieKixx keeping with the structure that has been established, I will be showing up with Humphrey, a coolΒ² controller.

Part 2 with more pics I ran with cell shading yesterday, as you can see. Very cool effect for this team, I think! At the staging area Farming the badges Mission accomplished! Bonus Pic - Going in the 2nd time, 4 of us, still sticking to a theme ("Code RED") from the look here. We took on some PUGs to make a full regular team though. I alted to Forlorne (in her young adolescent look, she is growing up so fast!) for that much needed Notice of the Well and Level Shift! π Didn't get the Unyielding Badge for the sole reason of having it already. π But at least this time it was a much more systematic approach for me, knowing what was coming. Completely forgot about Rise of the Phoenix. Some things will just need more training...

Fellow Themers, it was a pleasure wading through the mud with you! This was a great fun Taskforce, and I enjoyed every colorful minute of it! Thanks for the pics @FrauleinMental and @Midnyte They tell the story! Talking about telling a story, here are Bananiacs Basic Obvious Observations of this weeks "Theme Team Unyielding Badge Farm"-Run: - Trixie had the right hunch for this one: Shiny colorful spectral holograms made a great contrast to the smeary Sewer Maintenace Room. Btw, for crying out loud, who in their right mind builds a sewer maintenance room like that?!? BtwΒ², those sewers stretch a REALLY LONG WAY DOWN below this city! - This was a mission where paying attention was important! π - There was a learning curve with the assault on the Hydra Head. Once we understood the FF cycle, the Unyielding got less. - And a personal takeaway from this: Superjump is not suited very well to get yourself safely down the room! And from the category "Things I forgot to use although I specifically put them up for situations like this": 1.) Using the bloody Jetpack to maneuver the stairs 2.) Using Fallout on the bloody corpses 3.) Using Knight Errand in any of the fights - Final Note: I just found that we got to keep those remaining charges of the salvage guns. Nice! I got a few pics to add, let's see what I have... Here is Part 1: Everybody follow the Tank! Including the Tank! Found a dangler again <<Defying Gravity starting to play in mind>> Suggesting a new Disorient Superpower? Devs! Get going! Part 2 to follow

A glaring hole in the beauty of what is Midnytes Art Of Excel! Glad you were able to avoid it! ππ

Dear Fellow Themers, let me start this by emphasizing how extraordinarily entertaining our little excursion into the murky ethers of the Shadow Shard has been. And what a delightful group of companions you all were, each with their own amazingly artistic take on what I would like to now, without much further ado, officially name: The "Your Naughty Children are here, Mother!"-Run π€ΉββοΈπ€ΉββοΈπ€ΉββοΈπ€ΉββοΈ And here is my little summary of events: - "You have to grow old, but you don't have to grow up!" ... or .... "It's never too late to have a happy childhood!" We were certainly In Character for this! - As fascinating as the topology of the Shadow Shard is, you definitely want to bring your array of teleporting skills and gimmicks to the field! - That being said: Doing this in less than 2 hours is definitely respectable, as far as i can say. We would have been even faster... if not for certain... interruptions... required. Won't be going into any more details here ππ - I really liked how each of the children turned out so unique in their representation of the theme. And having 1 adult character with us actually gave this a little twist that was very funny. More about this see below... - And of course, when we were done and disassembled the team, I thought to myself: "Well, the last thing you should forget is to check the top of the Globe for that exploration badge". And guess what the last thing I forgot was when I found myself back in Ouro... - Lot's of good badges anyway from this, great TF! Many great shots already up there, so I only have a few to add: I rest my case π Bonus Pic - Adult Forlorne, newest and one of the proudest members of Team Bananiac Incarnate! A character I built pretty much at the beginning when I found my way into Homecoming 2 years ago. It really felt like what I described in her Bio, strange and still at home somehow...
-
@TrixieKixx Before I run out of options... I will be projecting "Holo-Lilac" from Reunion to Indomitable, a Dark/Rad Controller.
-
Hope you can take the field again, Jax π
-
@TrixieKixx Planning to be there with Forlorne, Fire/Fire/MoreFire Blaster. She's one o fthe first characters I created after joining HC and has been sitting idle at lvl49 now for way too long.

That's an absolute Rockstar Collage, Midnyte! Great visuals, we should take it and run with it, doing Promo for the Theme Team! β¨β¨β¨ Pushing my own shot of THE GEMS. Colorful and shiny as we were! Speaking of running away with things: You guys were going faster, so I could be dying faster π Aftermath, all back up on their feet... So, by popular request: This weeks issue of "What we learned from yesterday": - Trying to stalk ambushes can go southward quickly, when the ambush just ignores your stealth and gives you a hiding! - Speedrunning with an all-stalker team can be surprisingly difficult! (Note: some coordination might be required) - Offensive front-tanking with All-AoE Damage only gets me so far when Stealth wears off... Amendment A: All-Stalker teams usually don't field Vengeance. Which seemed to be the part my concept was banking on for complete usefullness π₯ - That being said: Stalkers hit bloody hard, and Gemstones can both be shiny AND durable! Albeit VERY expensive! Rock on, Fellas! Bonus Picture: I took this picture last year in an actual Gemstone Museum. You guys make of this what you will... π
