Can we get clarification on "most" if this is a general adjustment?..... I know you all have done a lot of work on pseudopets and now there are "true pseudopets" but not "false psuedopets". Pseudo = false so *brain explodes*. Is there an example for which this specific change won't work? Three main questions: Do Pseudopets affected still have rech+/rech- immunity? (e.g. [Bonfire] can't tick faster with +rech bonuses) Set bonuses pass on.. but current debuffs don't? Which Pseudopets aren't affected? Rain of Fire? Lightning Storm? Are regular pets affected for non MMs, even in epic / patron pools? I had trouble testing.... or how to test as well before a couple of... weird events today.

(Not been able to test this) Is there any clarification on how this will work for Dark Astoria & Cimerora or other new incarnate considered arcs teams sidekicking? There's always been a weird mesh between 49(minus) and 50(incarnate+++)... I'd love to run these with lowbies still (even though it ends up at 5+ for them). The mission can be turned up, but I can see tension. As a perpetual team leader, I see it (no one seems to want to lead). It's unlikely I will run+5-7 often, and form a team specifically for that, that's where my concern comes in. I'm fine if it's a hardline "no". I can mentally prepare for "y don't u turn it up bro?!?".

To add to your point Vorpal Radial has 40 targets, 8 more than both Cryonic. But.. *shrugs* IIRC Vorpal was one of the last to get added. Cryonic was in the first batch. Back then I remember how deeply superior Ionic was to other judgements. Not really created equal.

I was playing around on my Defender and noticed the -MaxHp portion was stacking. I was able to get 4 applications of it on one enemy. City of Data lists it as "Stacking Per Caster". Here are three screenshots from the same enemy:

Just a minor text error, when you clock on "How do I gather Prismatic Aether?", the following windows choices still contain "How do I gather Prismatic Aether?" The second one still opens the window that "Exchange your..." does.

Thanks, for coming in and explaining @Cobalt Arachne for coming in an explaining it. I understand it. I don't like it, but I understand it. (...also forgot Aeon was first). The suggestion came from a place as a control advocate as it often feels trumped by other game aspects once you get to a certain level. Peace and love. -
Yeah, I don't ever remembering it getting implemented fully. There was an option in the menu to turn it off, but it never turned on for me (greyed out). But I remember the opposite about community. Dev (community manager) enthusiasm and player signs of d00m. But @Lunar Ronin shows it was in. At least for a short while. Maybe I was taking a break. At least the billboard looks somewhat low quality like the other crappy ones. Edit: Here is an old post I found, if you are interested, that confirms live ads were in-game like @Lunar Ronin says for a short while. There's a picture of the same Babylon movie. The poster hints it might have only been live in European servers, but also asks about cellphone ads and Nike shoes: https://forumarchive.cityofheroes.dev/topic/193884 But getting waaayy off topic I suppose. There was a time on live where the team / company tried to implement real-world advertisements on the billboards around the cities. There was even an option in the menus to turn it off. However, it didn't get fully implemented. A fair amount of balcklash at the time. So it is possible to have changing signs. More on point, have you noticed some of the signs are for the movies in SBB you play in?

With the recent overhaul of confuse powers and their durations, they are decidedly more balanced when compared to one another and much harder to abuse stacking (glares at old Seeds of Confusion)... Will the blanket 10 mag confuse protection be revisited for currently available hard mode TFs? If not, will it be considered when designing new hardmodes / 50+ content? At the time, I hated the protection but understood why it was implemented. The mobs are powerful and confuse might trivialize parts of the TF (despite this being implemented first on the ITF, where control is meh thanks to Centurion's Clarion-like shout). However, it's a blanket punishment for control in general. Control is already punished in incarnate content due to powerful enemies, and it is rarely sought out for any hardmodes. Just a thought -- I'd hate to see future, or any content slap the band aid on punishing control. Part of the problem is control is often binary in this game. "On or off" no in-between. I realize that. I don't have an answer for it really. Thinking outloud.

This is a total emotional request -- I HATE HATE HATE HATE HAteTeheeh.... The entire team in these blocky, light-eminating, shitty ice-shields from Cold Domination. Great set but jeeez. At least set the default to minimal FX so people can choose to troll you on teams (worse with MM -- 15 ice blocks in an office???). -
Sentinels seem to be love or hate -- prior bias seems to cloud narrative on them. These three quotes kinda sum up the discussion here. Sentinels are not perfect AND not what people expect. They have one of the most powerful single-target, varied debuff (that enjoys unique privileges) in the game as an inherent, despite not being a support role. My Defenders would become villains (axe murderer) to have this ability GIVEN to them. I challenge you to find me a better debuff power (do not forget other passive perks enjoyed by the inherent). I will enjoy arguing on the InTerNeTz. -- If you can argue that vulnerability is not powerful, provide examples. However, Sentinels are powerful -- especially since the revamp, and the link from @Maelwys is outdated though useful as a benchmark. The link is from 2020, and the sentinel revamp was in 2024. (the spreadsheet is current, the forum is just old. I was negligent). Listen, I returned to this thread out of curiosity but Sentinels are in a good place. I do see a lot of old bias and grudges, nitpicking, and "Angels on the Head of a Pin" (I've often done that myself). The OP, @LightMaster, seems to really hate the AT, but wants it to succeed. -------------------- The reality is this archetype is a Homecoming creation, has had adjustments, and a rework. You DON'T like it. Okay, what do we ask for... more reworks? Other ATs don't get this volunteer attention. Please show me, with proof, this AT is underperforming other than it ISN'T FOR YOU. Idealized builds at level 50+++++ won't do. There is level 1-50 and that **exists** after all. There is always room for improvement. I disagree with volunteer focus slightly going down this rabbit hole AGAIN.

What I will say is my experience is constant & very similar: No glowie sound (in 4 years on speaker) -- though if I plug in headphones, it works! I've since taken to modifying the sound via CoH Modder. That works really well.

IIRC - zero cast time and it ignores level --> (one of the few, if not only power to do so). It has the same effect on a +0 as a +4.. That it what I recall as the reasoning in the patch notes and the discussion of changes at the time. [feel free to correct] -- [edit to add what I found] I could not find the original patch notes on this forum for some reason. May be having to do with all the server issues lately, otherwise I'd cite the source. With the new changes to fear / containment and how more than half the Archetypes have access to fear.... Can we get a purple Fear set? I don't have an idea for the name. I'd also like to posit a hold / mez set that actually enhances damage. Like Ice Mistral's Torment. No hard mez set actually gets you damage -- at all. It kinda sucks for Dominators.

What I don't understand about your logic here is that you have no source that it's working-as-intended. Typically, a proc will work with the effect as it works in the powers (similar to pets). The heal portion of [Cauterizing Aura] is fully active all the time. If Numina proc is intended to work this way; requiring enemies to function in a periodic heal power / ToHit check... please provide a source. This is a bug report forum, not conjecture forum. Please LINK a source. I believe that's a bug.

Good references. Hopefully someone can update the wiki. Still doesn't explain why the Numina proc wasn't working at all. I don't want to get too far away from the other issue in the original post.
