I don't like the idea of prestige for building, but I liked the idea of prestige as a marker of contribution for a SG or a currency to earn. I don't really know what would be a good use of a SG only currency though. Having something to show for time played, outside of Inf, which can be relatively quickly capped out, and xp, which after Vet lvl 100, doesn't do anything. My reasoning being after you have so many completed characters, they need something to do after they've got all their Enh and Incarnates. Badges and Inf are more of a singular toon project. Something to influence what toon you choose to play that day. As it stands, aside from wanting to play a certain combo, there's no reason to play a non-farmer after they're geared out so a lot of characters gather dust. Maybe a custom vendor like P2W, could sell things like badges, costume unlocks, things that'd make a toon feel "prestigious".

You'd think since most of this player base is 30s-50s, the highschool-era drama queens and gossip would stop. Maybe the other servers are different but I haven't seen anything crazy on Excelsior in some time, but my block list is fairly extensive.

For the Lady Winter mission, upon load in, there are 4 groups of Tuatha that are supposed to help you. 1 group was still set to enemy and they were murdering each other and you. Not sure that's intended! If it matters for replication, difficulty settings are +0x8, Solo Bosses, Solo AVs.

This, getting offended when there are tools to permanently block said behavior and offender is solely the fault of the person getting offended. Like complaining your hair is getting wet while wearing a hoodie in the rain. Just put the hood up.

I recently did this for the first time, on a ar/dev blaster at x8. I didn't have any issues, managed to get my badges. Not knowing what was going to happen next or trying to evade huge spawns with a short timer really put some stress on my decision making. That made it interesting. I thought the mechanics were a little janky, kind of like a well polished AE mission. But I don't think it was terrible by any stretch.

There actually was two planned PEATs, their base mechanic is on the wiki. It shows Recovered Devoured and Hyper-Advanced Clockwork. I'd really like to see those fleshed out. Primalist was also supposed to be an EAT. That one looks cool too.

Blappers are already a thing. There isn't actually any blasters. What this post is suggesting is a scraster.

When you said mantles, I got excited and was hoping you were talking about the mantles like Hero 1 and Statesman has.

Might want to roll Sentinel then. All the range you want, not wasting power slots since there is no melee to take. Not using melee on a blaster is like making a PB and J with no J. You can, but why would you want to.

Seismic is iconic to the set, removing it's hold is removing it's 'oomph'. ST holds dont serve as well as AoE. A sleep would allow a blaster to control large mobs solo. And if you never take any melee ever on a blaster... I'd dare to say you aren't playing a blaster right.

Development. CoH was always a solid entertaining game. Keep the story going and alive. Keep CoH breathing.
