    Earthquake is it!  It seems to be autohit, ignores defense debuff resistance, and lowers defense by 15%ish rather than the 10% it's listed as in CoD. That 5% difference threw me off earlier when it was suggested as the culprit.

     

    I think another part of the challenge was they don't cast it very frequently. It might be something they use only on first contact.  Standing around, waiting for them to cast again didn't seem to work.

     

    Aha!  Case closed! Solution: Get the heck out of the Earthquake zone if your survival depends on defense!

    Yep, that makes sense. Powers like that, and Quicksand, are part of why SR gets decent Slow resists, so you can run out of a -Def field like that fairly easily.

    Yes, them having attacks that AREN'T high cost, even though they are for us is totally possible.

    I totally agree with Snarky on this.  Things that don't get mentioned.  When YOU get drained by a Sapper or Ring Mistress, etc. Your shields drop, and you cant use your heavy damage / powers at all.  Time and time again I've seen Bosses and Elite Bosses drained to Zero (0), and they still manage to get off some heavy damage shots. Do THEIR Shields Drop? Perhaps, but nowhere near as much as ours do. And, their shields come back up instantly if they do drop. The Game Cheats. 

     

    That's not how it works. They cannot use high endurance cost abilities if they have no end. Often their toggles do drop and don't come back instantly.

     

    I suspect what's happening is you aren't looking closely enough at their endurance when things like this happen, you think they're still at zero, but they're not.

    Many of the fire Demons have Invincibility, for example. Some of the mages cast Fortitude on their allies.

    They will be able to fire off cheap powers, but not costly ones. That's why end drain is useful even without -Recovery.

    I've never seen what you're describing here. Exactly the opposite. If I can keep enemy endurance low they will not be able to use high cost abilities.

    Well, I figured it would be nerfed in size, power, AND cooldown. But I'm open to different ideas. It probably needs to be a power that affects both self and ally, so no ally only Force Fields.

    t1 Repulsion Field (keep guys back, instead of an aoe immob or sleep)

    t2 Bone Smasher

    t3 Boost Range (probably not perma like the Manipulation version, but that's ok)

    t4 Whirling Hands

    t5 Damping Bubble (team debuff resistance)

  10. It is a toggle with a limited duration.

     

    The toggle is autohit, but the immobs can miss, letting guys drop out of it sometimes.

     

    If you use Levitate on the main target of the toggle, all affected foes will be tossed into the air and the toggle will shut off, regardless of remaining duration.

    Living usage IS now playing the classic Dull Pain sound and visual.

    However, dead usage is NOT playing the classic Revive sound and visual, so something is still wonky.

     

    EDIT: When CLICKED while dead it DOES play correctly. But if you get the automatic offer to get back up, from the Second Wind Temp Power granted when you click while alive, it does not correctly play sound and graphics.

    Tested on a Tanker.

    Hurl, sure. Hurl Boulder though, nah. Besides the name, the concept of Stone Melee et. al is manipulating rock and earth and shaping it into weapons and such. Using it to chuck forklifts or sculptures doesn't really fit the concept.

     

    Maybe for that set a slightly different set of options, but still options. Just like Spines has a variety of looks, so should this.

  15. Leaving aside damage and dps...

     

    I would really like to be able to customize the projectile. Let me choose between Rock, Tree, Forklift, Modern Art, and Random, or something like that.

     

    That would really expand the usefulness of the power in fulfilling different character concepts.

    Not sure where that info on the wiki came from, maybe an early beta version of the power? Definitely seems not to be the case. I believe Static increases the jumps from Circuit powers, and has some kind of buff for Defibrillate, but nothing for Galvanic.

    EDIT: Trying to confirm that this is true, no luck yet.

     

    EDIT 2: This appears NOT to be the case. Tested with and without charges of Static, 2 minute duration either way. If someone has seen different I'm curious to hear about it.

  18. If I had to hazard a guess, looking at the sets in question (Hypersonic, Launch, and Thrust), I don't think the devs have any intention of giving every character free access to the bonuses in those sets. ESPECIALLY Hypersonic.

  19. Teammates are 100% EXPLICITLY your sidekick. It's actually CALLED Sidekicking, to have a teammate who is lower level than you.

    There are Epic sets with pets in them, and there probably should be more, but I don't think there should be a pet in a standard Power Pool.

    Customization options for ALL pets, Troller/Dominator, MM, Arachnos, Lore, and Epic, would be nice though.
