When discussing unresisted heals, the heal resist cap is completely irrelevant. It doesn’t matter all that much in practice either, since there are virtually no critter powers that affect heal resistance, and in the one common instance where there is, Absorb/Share Pain will cover anything the unresisted self-heals won’t.

For now. Clearly these changes have been made so that more heal resistance debuffs can be added.

Whether the heals are resistable or not is separate from the Heal Res cap.  The reason I think the latter should be changed is simply to be consistent.  PBs and WSs are listed as "Tank" playstyle ATs.  They clearly include armor powers in their sets.  If the change is for all "armored" ATs as the notes state then I think PBs and WSs should be included.

As a side note I saw one Kheld self-heal that can be resisted (both on Live and on Open Beta)... Stygian Circle.

Also the human form melee attack heal.

Yeah, but as it reads, that is what they are changing, making it so Self Heals (All) no longer be unresistable with a few exceptions, so as read the self heals for Kheldians will be debuffable under this.

I don’t think that’s correct, pretty sure the same unresistable tag is on beta, but I will check.

EDIT: Yes, all the PB self heals, the WS dwarf self heal, and the Arachnos Crab self heal on Brainstorm have the same unresistable tag.

I like most of this however, I hope this means you are still looking at this cause there still isn't any mention or look at this with Kheldians.

The Dwarf form is supposed to be a stand in for a tanker role, and these changes are going to make it unhealable when under debuff, preventing the Dwarf from doing the tanker role.

With this change, the Kheldian Dwarf which basically fills the stated Armored AT role will be unable to be healed and incapable of keeping itself alive while under debuff, counter to the stated design note. This really needs to be looked at.

Ok, I have a partial answer for this.

I had a look around, and it turns out ALL Peacebringer self heals, and the Warshade Dwarf Self Heal (but not the human form Warshade self heals) are ALREADY unresistable, on Live. I have no idea what their healing resistance caps are, but it does answer why they aren't in the changes.

EDIT: Same with the only Arachnos self heal, Serum, already unresistable on Live.

Man really sad about the Vines, Gravity Distortion Field and Tesla Coil changes. Once again the powers are back to 240 secs and back to being set mules or powers to forget to use.

But they will now all Hold 16 instantly, instead of being just the long term patch. This makes them like the Earth, Dark, and Arsenal Hold patches, none of which are just set mules or just sit there unused.

Why is Consume/Devour Psyche split into a cone for Scrapper/Stalker? I could understand this for Sentinel, but for melee ATs it doesn't mesh as well. Every similar power (Soul Drain, Energy Drain, Consume, even Drain Psyche for Blasters/Dominators) is PbAoe. It seems odd, and repositioning feels artificially disruptive to the flow of combat (particularly when Tank/Brute don't need to).

You don’t need to either. The stacks refresh. You don’t need to maximize every application.

While true, Faraday Cage is location-based and will require continuous re-casting every 15ish seconds if the team is moving.

Yea, it’s not superior, just differently valuable. I only mentioned it because it exists, not to make some greater point.

Increase Density: the only ally knockback, repel, and teleport protection power in the game aside from Clarion.

Side note, I don't disagree with your other points, Electrical Affinity>Faraday Cage is also an ally buff with kb, repel, and tp protection, and protects the caster as well.

I'm a little bummed about losing the DoT. Was looking forward to stacking confuse with Cupid's proc.

Any chance we could get at least a token DoT to stay on this, just enough for damage procs?

Stalkers and Sentinels aren't allowed damage auras (Sentinels can get them in epics, but not armor).

There are other examples of both ATs losing something offensive and getting something defensive in return. In this case, the -Dmg will help a little to make up for their lower HP relative to the other classes.

Increase Density, for example, is actually one of the best powers in the set for them (because its' Mez protection and Resistance buff benefits all your henchmen

iirc the Mez protection is single target only, though the Resistance buff is AoE, at least on Defenders

I tested with DM/PSI and ELEC/PSI no incarnates and +1/8 was barely doable for me with a lot of death.

I'm starting to think I'm doing something very wrong. I'm going to go ahead and post screenshots of the builds I'm using here if anybody wants to chime in on why my performance is so subpar compared to other players for this armor. If my performance is that much below what you guys are getting in here then there may be no point in me even testing at all.

EDIT: I was doing Grandville paper missions with Malta, Carnies and Council.

Build looks fine to me. Try to get DP to 10 stacks quickly, and then keep it there. Get Psychokinetic Barrier to 3 stacks and keep it there. Use MM in bad situations.
