I'm testing out a faster server as well, to see how much they charge me. So, I'll be running this one for the next day for testing purposes. Yeah @GM_Tahquitz, I'm starting to overload my Shared Windows server with too much data for it to handle. I wonder how much it will cost... they seem to separate the actual running of the thing from the cost... It'll be a surprise bill. I picked the "cheapest" server, but at least it doesn't error out from lack of memory! I'll give it a day or so, and if I can find the cost for a day and it seems reasonable, I might just cancel my HostGator account.

Well, I'm running up against limitations with my current server host. Basically this: Namely, the host can't handle the data that I'm throwing at it half the time, because I'm using a "shared" host where the memory on the server is shared along with the other users. So, I need a new host. I paid about $100 for the entire YEAR with this Shared host, which I thought was a pretty good price, but now that I've outgrown it, I need something else. The next step up with my current host (HostGator) is to move to a dedicated server, which is $120 per MONTH. That's a ridiculous jump from about $8/month to $120/month, and I won't pay it, at least on my own. I already tried a Patreon before that failed, so I can't go down that route again. So, I guess I need some advice. I need a web host that's a reasonable cost (somewhere BETWEEN $8 and $120/month), and that uses Windows, since my coding is in ASP.NET. Any ideas? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

Could you expound on this please? What capabilities would you want such a "viewer" to have? It kind of sounds like you're talking about a 3D modelling program...

Sounds like it'd be a fun challenge! Do demo files work on the current HC client? Have you tested it?

The biggest drawback to an online planner though is exactly what happened with the Sucker Punch one. Here one day, gone the next. Someone has to host it, and keep it perpetually updated. It's a lot of work. A desktop app on the other hand doesn't require hosting, but is a snapshot in time. That's why Mids is still around (several versions in fact!). Even if it's out of date, it's still usable. Sucker Punch's isn't... if I do end up making a Web Based build planner, I'd make a desktop version as well, along with routines that would allow someone to export from either version a data file that could be imported into either version.

Thanks for the input everyone. I've taken the ideas presented here that I feel are maybe possible without requiring the HC's team's approval/input (because they don't mess with the game world), and threw the list into a list randomizer to have a random order, and edited the OP to add the poll. I set voting for a week from now. I'll start working on the one that has the most votes. If I come across a blockage on that one, or complete it, I'll start working towards the next one, and so on, and so on. If you have any further ideas, please feel free to keep posting them here. I might start a second poll if enough ideas are gathered.

Yeah, anything like that would require new code in thr game itself. So, that's not possible without HC's cooperation, and AFAIK they aren't currently taking code submissions.

I think he's saying it's not "fair" to those that would rather have a fifth power pool that WASN'T an origin-based power pool. That those that pick an origin-based power pool would get "one extra" compared to those that don't.

Oh god I had a love/hate relationship with Cysts. I haven't played a Kheld in a while, are you saying that Cysts no longer randomly spawn like Void Hunters do? Since when? Just wondering in which Issue they took that spawning out.
