Ganymede contact: start as a hero. Run the mission as a hero. Once you cannot proceed without a villain, if you are solo, you may then exit the mission and switch alignment at Null the Gull. Re-enter the mission and complete the villain objective. Then revisit Null the Gull to return to hero alignment before speaking with Ganymede again.

Scratch: same but not the same. Start as a villain until the hero objective, switch to hero, and return to villain standing prior to speaking with the contact again.

    Sooooooooooooooooo.

Just tried this, and can report it doesn't work: once I completed the mish and got the reward, the mish disappeared from my missions tab after swapping alignment and I couldn't turn it in to Ganymede.

How did we get onto procs in a combo mechanics thread lol?

This games is pretty old now and so are a lot of us, that played this back in the day. I am not some 15 year old kid on a some Razer mouse/gaming keyboard with much nimbler fingers.

There are many reasons why i like this game and the combo sets are not one of them.

I tried savage melee and did not like it because of the combo which is a shame as i would love to play an animal type character with it and i like the animations.

But you don't need nimble fingers to use combo sets, just the ability to see a ring around a power.

Which is why UI scale exists for the fogeys. ☺️

HARD NO. The ability to stack damage from multiple attacks in one instant of time by understanding the varying projectile speeds is the #1 coolest thing about the set.

    Same goes for Seismic Blast.

I don't need the damage to happen X seconds from now. I need it to happen now.

Why in the hell arrows travel instantaneously while thoughts take three seconds baffles me.

    My take:

    1. You have entirely too much time.
    2. I disagree that you either had inf at the beginning or were locked out.  One lucky drop could finance a entire character, as long as you didn't use purples and PvPIOs.  Beyond that it was not hard to make decent inf either flipping (buy the same item for a little and sell for a mark-up), arbitrating (buying cheap junk and selling to vendors), or, my preferred method, buying recipes and salvage then selling the crafted item.
    3. You forgot the chapter on Gagora and all those other inf selling industries.
    4. I think you make several very good points.  But you are making definitive statements of the devs' intentions.  Are you making assumptions or do you have inside knowledge?
    5. If they thought that incarnates were a bridge between IO-based vs SO-based characters they were high.  Yes, incarnates can provide anyone with great power, but it does nothing to close the gap -- the IO-based character started from a much higher base and went into the stratosphere where the SO-based builds couldn't go.

If Lumi's got inside info I think we're in good shape.

I honestly don't see a reason to. It is apparent when the character logs in. And leveling up prior to log off would prevent it anyway.

Going to pocket D to turn off group fly prior to trying to do a Hami/MSR would prevent you getting buffed from the zone anyway.

    🧐😏

OP: I wish all kinds of stuff could be on the selection screen, but this isn't one.

If it’s not wasted on the 75% resistance hard cap, why would it be wasted on the defense hard cap?   It doesn’t delete the information from your combat attributes.  It just doesn’t increase your mitigation beyond that cap.

Because defense and DDR are not the same, but resistance and resistance to resistance debuff are. The same.
