In our 5-man run, the loss of set bonuses was WAAAAAAAAAY more impactful than losing incarnates. I suspect that to be the case all around; especially re: survivability of all Squishies who build for damage mitigation.
-
I use WASD to move and mouse look, so I've found Q and E to be super helpful for things like Build Up/Aim/Fade/other click things like heals.
-
Also of note: not many ATs/sets can just breezily solo full size hazard zone spawns.
-
And, it's worth saying, if these toggles are enhancable you're adding SIX POWERS worth of slots that would have to be taken from somewhere. Ask Khelds how well that works out for them.

Again, I 100% understand what you're looking for here, I just don't understand why it could work. You'd probably have to lower the damage to have an additional debuff (disregarding the thematic problems of like...fire blasts having toxic damage somehow), and...it's a sentinel. So. No.
It's too many toggles to track on top of 3-9 you're running already, you already get a variety of debuffs/secondary effect choices in the selection of a primary power set, and it makes an already less-than-appealing AT even less appealing.
I wish I had better for you, you obviously put some thought into this.

Pulped wood fiber material, sometimes reinforced with pulped fabric, laid or extruded in sheets or rolls and cut to specified sizes. Ink, a substance which semi-permanently or permanently penetrates the material, is then impressed in patterns of letters and numbers (alphanumeric characters), creating what is known as "printed text".
It was a bit before your time. You can probably see one in a museum, or something.😁
See, this is the kind of well-researched, good-natured and reasonable snark I think we all need more of as this dogshit year ends.

I get the idea, I just don't understand how that's not just...your primary power set.
If you want to do slows, pick ice.
If you want to do more damage, pick fire.
If you have the ability to just pick your secondary effect, why even have different blast sets? Just call your primary "Pew Pew".

What is this "paper" you speak of?
Do you think most people close whatever tab holds their LFG channel as soon as they send a tell?
I *try* to reply to over-fill people, because yeah that's polite. Do I take 5 minutes to reply to 10 over-fill people individually after I've taken the time to tell the assembled team what I'm doing (on the rare occasion that happens)?
Probably not. Just the other day I think it was not a full minute between tells of "inv" to "oh f*ck you you f*cking puppy kicking sh*thead welcome to ignore you duckf*cker" so.
People gonna people.

Why run Synapse when you can do Invader on three or four alts in the same time frame?

It's not my clearest presentation and I was brainstorming as I wrote it.
If you have the toggles option then your attacks can be changed quickly on the fly. Yes, these are the same as other powers but the Sentinel will now be able to apply all of these and switch to them when needed.
Yes, this would be another tray for the toggle options and it would make things busy. I don't mind it but others do. Ya can't please all the people all the time.
I'm really trying to get what you're saying here: so sentinels would have only one primary power set? "Blast?"

I volunteer for your podcast

So like...
Picking a primary power set? I don't really understand how that's different.
1: Dark Blast
2: Sonic Blast
3: Ice Blast
4: Elec Blast
5: Fire Blast
6: Rad...? DP?

No matter how big you make the sign, people will still completely ignore the fact that there's a door there.

Great Astral farm. I skip trials now because of it.
What are you up to these days, inches-wise? Did I miss an announcement thread somewhere?
To OP, most things that were considered difficult are now not, for various reasons. New challenges have been added and will eventually become not challenging, and so on and so on ad infinitum. We all eagerly await the next one.
For me, on live, OG Hami was a serious pus-blistering bag of dogshit.

Completing the LRSF for the first time on live was extremely satisfying and a huge achievement. The same can not be said of any new content today, the general standard of challenge is not the same or desired.

I had to giggle when I noticed that Arcanaville's rank was.... Arcanaville.
If anyone deserved their own rank...
Remember old Claws? I feel like I should get more respect for leveling a 50 Claws/Regen *after* ED and before Claws was fixed.

When you post your run, I'll be the first to like it.
You'll be waiting, so don't get your hopes up too hard there cowboy.
I mean, I *did* get Worthy Opponent, on two characters now! But. I wasn't under the impression anyone else wanted in on the measuring session.
For my original comment (which was in no way mocking or meant to insult): if you're gonna go old school might as well go all the way old.

Now do it with villain ATs only.

I feel like you just kind of proved the first point with that anecdote.
