If the game were balanced around inspiration use, sure - but it isn't. But I suppose while we're at it we could just make players unable to claim any character items while inside missions too. And let's be real here - with the multitude of ways to very quickly get to one's SG base and back to a mission inspirations are functionally infinite anyways. (And before anyone brings it up, I'm aware the new difficulty tiers partially or completely disable inspiration usage - those settings were designed to provide an actual challenge and are entirely optional. A blanket ban on claiming email attachments in-mission is neither a challenge nor optional.)

EDIT: In response to OP, though - if you're trying to come up with a character that can solo the MLTF because you think Hami-Os are expensive, you're going to lay out a whole lot more inf building that character than you'd spend on the Hami-O's. For the vast majority of builds a 50+5 dual-aspect IO provides 99% of the enhancement value as a level 50 Hami-O for significantly cheaper. As a current example, a level 50 Microfilament (end/travel) runs 40 million inf and provides a 33.3% enhancement value. A level 50+5 Quickfoot end/run is 1 million at buy-it-now prices or 200k if you're patient, plus another 5 million for the 5 boosters which totals 6 million inf for a 33.1% enhancement value. Sure, if you really want to squeeze every bit out of that slot and you spring for a level 53 Micro it'll run you 150-160 million for 38.3% enhancement value, but is that 16% boost worth paying 2500% more?

I would venture to say the only reasons those particular Hamis are so expensive is the speed run crew.

Hi, my name is AG, and my namesake was a Winter Lord baby.

I spent most of my 40s in permadebt. I was a hindrance to every team I was on. I six-slotted my blasts with accuracy SOs before ED, and after.

Being a new player and getting a character you know nothing about, in a game you know nothing about, power leveled does have consequences. If you understand those things and work to rectify them, you're golden.

  3. Y'all LARPers are hysterical. (Joking, chill.)

Let's just make a single powerset for "Weapon Handy" and one for "Weapon Shooty" (because a blunderbuss fires differently than a heavy Mongolian mounted compound bow OBVIOUSLY) that you pick your weapon, then that weapon has its own secondary effect and set of animations... somebody do the math on that and let me know where it falls between "absurd" and "wildly astronomical".

I hear ya. There are some cheats I'll never allow myself to utilize but I have started buying 8 hrs of amps for every level 1, regardless of whether I'm street sweeping, running content or just PLing them to 50. Can no longer rationalize NOT having defense amp for all my squishies. But at least I haven't started actually designing builds with all the cheats in mind.

I'll be there to stop you, my friend.

Was he doxxed? The OP said almost doxxed.  That is like almost _____ which is to say "it certainly wasn't ______" or "________ didn't happen".  Please don't confuse the two situations.

Now I got to make lunch because I was almost killed by a non-existent energy beam....

I suspect I wasn't clear. I don't give a flaming dog shit about the original post or literally any "gaming streamer" on YouTube.

The points that I made in that post you quoted are made in a vacuum. Doxxing is wrong. Being a douchebag is wrong. Both can happen simultaneously.

To be honest, dude...I don't look unless I am given a reason to look. But again, it is what it is. We live in a peachy world full of peachy people playing a peachy game.

Good as place as any to ask this.... why do people call for sitters?

Looking at the math, it seems a waste.

Going off the chart, if a critter gives 100 xp, solo, I'll get 100 xp.

    With 1 teammate, it becomes 100*1.25/2 = 62.5 xp.

    2 teammates, 100*1.5/3 = 50 xp.

    3 teammates, 100*1.8/4 = 45 xp.

    4, 100*2/5 = 40 xp.

    5, 100*2.1/6 = 35 xp.

    6, 100*2.2/7 = 31.43 xp

    7, 100*2.5/8 = 31.25 xp.

I can see adding another "hitter" to speed up the clear time, but I'm completely failing to see why anyone that wants to PL regularly doesn't have a 2nd account with a dedicated farmer for PLing alts on their primary account. Is there some social aspect to this that I'm missing?

Some farmers like having people to talk to while they farm, and look at it as helping other people get PLd.
