  4. Stone just pawnches, Take Fault for extra controls and FFB proc. Energy Aura is a sturdy Scrapper Set, and gives you more recharge for More Seismic Smashing!

  6. This toon was made before the small rework to stone melee, I was mostly working with what I had. I did get the next slots for the Crushing 5 pieces. Fault was considered a skip before, but I'll probably fit it in with a respec. The idea was to take a Grendel Troll Girl and make her real. (Atta's Cousin Twice Removed)

  8. To me that just says "The less you get hit the less you're actually needing to heal" defeating the purpose of the set.

  14. Gold Side is honestly really refreshing when you've done the hollows a lot. If you're going to do a Broadsword run in it, I'd say do a Scrapper for a bit more of that "Tense" gameplay feel. Fire Armor would be funny, like "Infernal's Little Sister" And Healing Flames is as good as Reconstruction (faster even).
  15. I think it'd be fine to have Rage as is but with taking more damage for it. -25% Resist, -11.25% Defense during the duration. A quarter less survivability.
  16. Yeah something I explored was the damage scale, at level 10 Scrapper Damage and Tanker Damage deviate by a few points. Then by 20 it hits double digit difference. Take the simple attack Hack With two SO's of Damage (+66%) Tanker damage out of it is 73 vs Scrapper's 87. Then toss one simple Enrage. 91 from Tanker / 108 from Scrapper Excepting the critical chance. Scrapper has 6.25 cycles of Hack to kill an Even Level Boss (Given all attacks hit) Tanker has 7.4 cycles to do the same. 1 Attack Difference in effect. And if Scrapper Crits well its just simple math that's one less attack needed. But still Tankers are no slouch to the damage rating.
  17. I find myself using hover on melee toons lately so I can get better cone angles. an extra 4-5 targets is nice.

  19. You will not need Cross Punch since Energy Melee has Power Crash already which can hit 10 Targets in Energy Focus mode. You can Total Focus a Boss, angle right Power Crash For 10 Targets then Whirling Hands after. Ground Zero again. It's solid.
  20. Its more that aside from the S/L superiority, a middling 20% resistance feels a bit lacking without anything else supporting it. Dull Pain being Later would feel like an "Ahh I get to heal now" Keep Tough Hide where it is though.

  22. For Bio, you're mostly aiming to get higher resists and recharge, targeting HP+ bonuses. Think of what the set exceeds in and focus on its strengths. Defense is fine, but you can hit a purple inspo. Resistance is better since you'll gain more time to heal and shield with Ablative.
  23. As a resident melee player mostly Hurricane is a BANE OF EXISTENCE
  24. Don't skip anything until the respec at 50. Play it out, get the uniques in first. Get your Assassin's Mark ATO, and the build up reset~ Play for it in a budget exemplar mindset first.
  25. But start playing it, and then see what you need.
