  1. "The earth is flat." "We're not talking about flat earthers, idiot." "Ah, but you haven't debated the merits of my other points." ???
  2. You got two brain cells fighting for third place, man.
  3. You didn't even make one, you just kinda said things and hoped Rudra would tell you you're funny. But hey, I won't derail this thread like every single one your assumed friend group here touches. We can debate the merits of any arguments you might have in PMs where the GMs can't bail you out, if you're brave enough.
  4. She isn't mad she was told 'no', genius.
  5. Yeah, the forum GM team's conduct of late has been essentially a bad joke since early last year. I'm mostly resigned to it being an unsolvable issue, there's nothing that could realistically be done about it. Can't go to the proverbial manager if they're in on it, and I witnessed some profoundly stupid behavior from the lead GM earlier in the year that didn't breed much confidence. Which is a shame because I like a lot of the GMs, but none of those people seem to handle the whole "dealing with idiot trolls on the site" issue. Ideally, they would action consistent trolls and have the ability to recognize trends, but that's apparently too much to ask. I highly doubt they personally know the people causing the problems, which makes this thing where it really seems like they are actively defending bad actors profoundly confusing to me. Actioning her over it would prove her right, lol. They enable bad behavior by actioning the people responding to the trolls rather than the trolls themselves.
  6. "We have the memorial at home."
  7. It's a disappointing answer but ultimately I'm fine with the answer being "no". Eventually tools can be added that will indirectly allow us to do it ourselves in bases and whatnot. Though I do think replying to that in a bad faithed troll thread instead of the one requesting the addition is strange.
  8. Or just don't worry about it, because this entire thread is really making a big deal out of a very, very small ask. Like I'm sorry, I don't forsee even the most exaggerated hypothetical scenario of us having "too many memorial NPCs" impeding even one person, ever. So it's very hard for me to take this seriously, on top of the just horrific timing in general. They haven't even DONE anything yet, people just asked if it could be done, but no, certain people have to make everything about them.
  9. Who cares? This is such a non-issue.
  10. I'm not going to assume good faith from someone who has to make every suggestion thread about them. Yeah, no, that's pretty much the worst thing they could possibly do.
  11. What are your graphical settings on?
  12. It's also a relatively much easier ask to just add an npc or a plaque somewhere every few years than to develop a whole ass tomb.
  13. I don't disagree, with that sentiment, but I think Greycat and some others in this thread, let's just say, aren't operating on good faith. Also, like, you dont make a post like this as people are still mourning the person, like what the hell? Based off of history, this really reads to me like the guy is mad that there's request posts. It's been a little over a week, maybe show a bit more tact and read the room, rather than making a thread like this in direct response to an ongoing memorial request.
  14. Custom npc support in bases would be a nice way around the rather robotic suggestion of a "tomb of the unknown soldier" type of thing.
  15. This doesn't happen often enough to warrant this discussion, frankly. People are asking with no expectation of it being added. I take issue with posting this so soon as a clearly annoyed response to a pretty harmless ask to honor a dead person, but whatever. I don't think a generic grave is the right way to go about it either, nor do I neccesarilly disagree with the idea that we can't memorialize everyone who dies, but the timing of this thread is a bad look.
  16. I was wondering if you would ever do this again, the Halloween one was fun a few years ago.
  17. Torchblight Prime - Blaster (Ice Blast - Fire Manipulation).mbd If your goal is to be a kamikaze murder machine that's fueled by inspirations, temp powers, and the sheer urge to kill, this one will cover all your needs.
  18. Expanding on the previous post, DP's major weakness is it's single target, assuming you've taken the liberty to proc it out and patch out some of it's other issues. Ninja will cover that the best, but without a build up you really gotta chomp reds to get value out of it.
  19. Shield or energy will probably be the best. Sr's failing will be the lack of a taunt aura or really any utility the others don't offer you. I cannot emphasize enough how important a taunt aura is for a scrapper, especially solo. Even a shitty one like energy's is night and day from something like fire.
  20. Armor with a taunt aura is mandatory, followed by pairing it with one of the good melee sets, like claws, axe, energy, db ect.
  21. I've tried them all, dp/martial was fun but pretty weak, dp/ninja handles DP's weaknesses the best, but you need to eat reds and use amps to get the most of it.
  22. Mental manip is basically the only way you could build a viable blaster before i24. It many respects it's outshined now, but my fire/mental in early hc was a demon that could wreck all content, even after the dp nerf.
  23. I'm against it just because this game is easy and the ebs are a joke. If people can't handle them, they need to learn to play instead of demanding change.
  24. Insane to me how people still complain about these things. If a petless mm can handle it better than you, there's a skill issue in a game where that bar is incredibly low.
  25. First of all, yes. second: IDFK.
