I'd rather they just make storm cell proc more than make it more mobile. Knowing how they handle things, they'd factor it being a reliable pet as some sort of weird budgeting thing. For that entire testing cycle, I was under the impression the changes made to storm cell were making it proc more often, but it turned out that was just the return of a bug I liked from the time storm was added. I don't know about you guys, but every single time storm cell and cat 5 were bugged to proc more often than 'intended', the set felt a million times better. -

Load that build up and literally bot the inputs. Maybe you'll get close, but you're not getting that time with just recluse on your first try without FOTG, sorry. Personally, if I was being legit and was accused of cheating, I'd be going out of my way to record video and beat the time I did just to rub it in even more. The silence speaks volumes, here.

no, it's just there for decoration, I like how it looks on my bar, obviously. I'm so good at the game that I can just surpass the limits of my powerset, honestly.

The pylon was low health when I got there, so I had to reset it to maintain the integrity of my super legit pylon kill.

One is highly suspicious based on the context, the other isn't. For your actual question, use whatever. OBS, shadowplay, and I guess fraps if you're a dinosaur. @Bionic_Flea If I was going to cheat a pylon, I don't think I'd leave my big damage cds off cooldown to make it as obvious as humanly possible. Then again, I wouldn't have said I did it first try on an archetype I don't play with a horrible build, either.

Even that is sus with all things in consideration, but with all the procs, geas and unrelenting? I could at least buy that. Tons of red flags with the other time. Her saying it was her first attempt being one of the biggest, lol.

I think that time AA posted is fake, would love to see a video. First run, no fotg, doesn't play pb to my knowledge, very low global recharge and no ffb. Even with geas and recluse I'm not seeing it. We know the upper limits of changeling, and someone who doesn't play kheld running a bad build breaking the record (24s) on the first try, even with cheese, is extremely sus. Who's to say you didn't beta blast the pylon when you got the time you wanted? I could do that right now and nobody could definitively prove that I did it.

After the crab one I'll gladly do some no cheese crab pylons. If you were speaking more broadly, I actually was planning to make my own thread for this, as I am... "disatisfied" with this one.

This is an important point. Can they just decide tomorrow to nuke every good set and state the reasoning as their favorite color being purple? Sure, nothing is really in place to stop them, might get a mini exodus to rebirth but whatever. But if we're pretending to actually be making changes in good faith, it stands to reason that you should provide your reasoning and goals for said changes if you're actually interested in making the game better. To me, a lot of changes strike me as someone making a nice spreadsheet presentation, testing it in an unrealistic debug room sort of deal under specific parameters, and ignoring everything that shows the flaws with said changes until it's far too late.

Explaining your design intent and goals is the bare minimum that should be expected of a balance dev, especially ones that claim to be volunteers operating out of passion. If your explanation is demonstrably wrong, then yeah, that's going to happen. You seem to imply that's somehow a bad thing, though.

The lore/temp/signature pets just muddy any useful data you can really gleam from the pylon benchmark, that's why that while lores weren't banned from the old thread, nobody really used them. Because how are you going to get anything useful out of taking your pistol to the shooting range to try it out, but the death star is directly behind you, shooting the same thing you are? Secondly, the minute you try to use a pylon for anything but benchmarking basic survival (this one doesn't even shoot back.) and having a very basic grasp of AV kill speed, it loses a ton of merit.
