What are some of the AE farms that some people use ???
thunder_crane replied to smnolimits41's topic in Brute
Can confirm, Gotter farms may have lost SOME xp (can't speak to average inf or rewards per hour), but they're still largely preferable, especially if you're running in a team or have alts/sitters to level. They offer great density and ease of engaging multiple groups. It might take maybe 4-5 extra packs now to get a full level vs before - fairly negligible loss imo. -
I'm curious about this part of your original post. While I agree with the statement, I don't see why it's necessarily limited to brutes. Doesn't this apply to, ignoring tankers, most melee ATs? I haven't played every AT so maybe I'm missing something but can you add some details about why Scrappers, Stalkers, Sentinels, etc wouldn't be as affected as Brutes by these changes?

Energy Melee Attack Chains, ATOs and a Build for review
thunder_crane replied to TungstenShark's topic in Scrapper
Came here to ask about this. I saw the other rotation being discussed on page one but have been reading on Discord and it seems people there prefere Crit Strikes proc in BS and use something like "BS > TF > ET > snipe > ET" Unsure if that rotation continues with BS again or Energy Punch but wanted input on this compared to the main rotation talked about in this tread which opens with Long ET and uses Crit procs in TF to get the proc on fast ET after. The crit proc in BS opener doesn't make much sense to me - are we essentially saying that: ET (long) > TF (crit proc) > ET (short) > Snipe > BS = you only gain possibility of crit in ET while BS (crit proc) > TF > ET (short) > Snipe > ET = you gain possibility of a crit in TF AND ET? -
Ratch asking the real questions here. Should be top of A tier. There's enough post nerf 1:30 or less pylon times and the AoE and knockdown you can have on it is probably at the top? What's the deal?

I found this one a ways back. It seems decent. I can't recall right now but I may have replaced the teleport tree with leadership... Thank you! How is the performance on this build? Able to deal with AVs? Solo ITF viable? Or even MoITF? Good for general 4/8 content or end game trials?
-
To add to this here is build provided to me from Icesphere on Discord which has much higher S/L resists for WM/SD
-
Thanks for the reply! Thanks for the reply! Is this WM slotting specific to the /Bio secondary or would I be able to take it for a WM/Shield as well?
-
Which is what I was told but when I brought up that SomeGuy has his in Clobber it seemed to spark some discussion. Kanil swears by him and I found a few other threads that seem to have rotations beginning with Clobber: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1av2vWL9UVgGw183BbjFNweJze7N5P3Tn8tYSppdFQgE/edit#gid=647164741 "According to this scrapper DPS chart, if you can get to 257% recharge on your powers, clobber - shatter - jawbreaker is best. Clobber - shatter - jaw breaker - pulverize is roughly 72 DPS vs 75.5 DPS at only 200% recharge so not much worse at a much easier to achieve recharge." EDIT: " Kanil — Today at 5:39 PM ato in clobber is mad interesting [5:39 PM] i trust someguy [5:39 PM] as in hes literally the guy who taught me how to build shit way back when lol [5:40 PM] normally id go 'thats weird and probably wrong' but hes a guy who 100% tests his shit Dabbler — Today at 5:40 PM Really [5:40 PM] That's very interesting then Kanil — Today at 5:40 PM yeah i wonder why it works Dabbler — Today at 5:41 PM Maybe bc better proc rate [5:42 PM] Evens out to more dmg? Kanil — Today at 5:42 PM maybe [5:42 PM] his build style likely is including snipe [5:42 PM] so its prob like [5:42 PM] shatter and snipe [5:42 PM] to maximize raw dmg [5:42 PM] out of ATO [5:42 PM] + more procs on ST Dabbler — Today at 5:45 PM Something to test out then [5:45 PM] Because if we can make WM do even more dmg [5:45 PM] Hoo boy (edited) [5:50 PM] I can imagine it being like Clobber, shatter with fotg and then procced moonbeam
-
Any chance you can elaborate on your ST rotation and how you've slotted it out? Curious about your choice to ATO2 Clobber since it's usually slotted into Shatter/Jawbreaker instead.
-
Is this accurate? I feel like I never see TW mentioned anymore. Presumably it's no longer top for ST OR AoE, (EM vs Claws) so is it in line with WM or...above or below?
-
Interesting points. And I think they make sense. I'm not sure what the intent is behind Claws/Rad as a combination and I'm not married to it at all. It was just suggested to me over others for my purposes listed, which sounds like I should have taken with more grains of salt than I did. I'll probably get around to all combinations eventually.
-
Thanks for the contribution! I want to say I was pointed to snipe to help out with ST damage but I did have questions about how to work it into the rotation. I found the below rotation from the pylon thread: FU - Slash - Focus - Shockwave And was basically told Moonbeam replaces Slash when its off cd.
-
Well if anyone cares I found these two builds - one from @Moodion and one from Psylum on discord. Currently leaning toward Psylum's more since it has GZ (which has a huge target cap). Overall have only been looking at any that take Moonbeam for the ST dmg. Scrapper_-_Claws_-_Radiation_Armor (2).mxd Moodian_revamp.mxd

Farm fresh builds! *Farming focused builds and tips*
thunder_crane replied to Warlawk's topic in Guides
Appreciate the reply. And agree - that said I've already fully slotted it out as my first build and it is great! Should help me start off my other projects. -
Hey, I'm looking to do a Claws/Rad scrapper that can do all content solo, with all damage, defenses, and resists turned up as much as possible. Assume money is of no consequence. If you have a build that can solo TFs, GMs, AVs, and almost anything else while maintaining excellent AoE to be able to farm if needed I would appreciate it. I had been looking at EnM/EnA before, but the lack of aoe is a big drawback for me. Between Claws/EnA and Claws/Rad I'm actually willing to try both - have just heard /Rad is more powerful as a secondary. Thank you EDIT: I also welcome any Claws/EnA, WM/Bio, or whatever builds you think would fit the bill instead of Claws/Rad!

Farm fresh builds! *Farming focused builds and tips*
thunder_crane replied to Warlawk's topic in Guides
Is this really the entirety of the rotation for a Rad/Fire farmer? Are Radioactive Smash and Boxing just slotted as mules and see no actual use? Additionally, as previously mentioned the OP has not been on the forum for a long time - are these guides and rotations still optimal?
