  1. Personally, I always go for a travel power outside of the P2W vendor. Especially with /FA, you don't have any Knockback protection - so slotting Blessing of the Zephyr: Knockback Reduction (4 Points) is a must when running non-farming missions. Here's my opinion on the various travel powers: Fly - this is my old "go to" travel power. I enjoy flying above everything and not having to worry about something attacking me. However, it's the slowest of the travel powers. Super Jump - not a favorite of mine. Although you can turn mid-jump (like fly), you're still going to start falling at some point and won't be able to jump again until you reach the ground. Teleport - I really love this power, however, it works best with hover from Flight power pool. Plus you can learn Long Range Teleport to move between zones. Super Speed - this is the power I use with my /FA brutes. This is a fairly fast movement power (limited vertically - which can be compensated for by Steam Jump or a 5,000 Inf jet pack from the P2W vendor). Also, it adds +Stealth - which I use when soloing door missions to get to the end fast, bypassing whatever is in between. Whichever power you choose, you can leave it with just it's starting slot with the above-mentioned Blessing of the Zephyr.
  2. I and a friend also played from I1 (or is it I0?). We're actually more concerned about these servers shutting down over regaining our "stuff". I don't think Paragon ever offered a lifetime membership - I know that Champions Online offered one. I probably would have purchased one and sued NCSoft for shutting down a game that I had purchased a lifetime subscription to. Obviously I'm still alive, and I can't access it. Again, same as me. I also had Prestige Power Slide on both of my accounts, and so did my friend on his two accounts. You could only get this by purchasing the special DVD edition. P.S. I think it's insane to spend 1,000,000 INF to purchase Rocket Board for a single character. To me, this is a "nice to have" low-level travel power. By the time my characters can afford it, I have a regular travel power and don't need it. Now if this purchased an account-level unlock, then it would be worth it.
  3. I don't know if you have any control over the code used in Tequila. If you do, here is something I would like to see: When you start Tequila, have it remembers the last way you entered the game. The reason is I used to get a lot of crashes while zoning. Then I started using the 64-Bit, and it hasn't crashed while zoning (and I don't think it has crashed at all). However, whenever I start Tequila, it always has Homecoming selected - the first one on the list. Many times I have missed changing it and started CoH in 32-Bit instead of the 64-Bit that I want. So I have to exit and start it in 64-Bit. When you login to the Homecoming servers, it remembers which one you last logged into and puts that one at the top of the list. I would like Tequila to remember I selected Homecoming (64-Bit) last time and put it as selected (maybe even at the top of the list).
  4. I looked, I didn't see them in the pillar (specifically outbreak red side) - however, I haven't run the introductory missions yet. Prior to combining it, I was able to run the introductory missions to Ouroboros for both red and blue side after switching. That was how I got the badges - even after starting in Praetoria. I tried it after combining, and I wasn't able to get one both outbreak and breakout missions by running the introductory missions.
  5. When you combined Red/Blue Ouroboros, I can no longer access both Breakout and Outbreak. In CoX live, I could start in Destroyed Galaxy City, run the Ouroboros blue-side and get to Outbreak (and defeat the 100 infected). Then I would switch to red-side, run the Ouroboros red-side missions and get the exploration badge in Breakout. Now, I can do one or the other, not both.
  6. The reason I would like to have it is I don’t have a farming character to feed me. So I will be working through the levels and running a few side missions (including all of the bank missions). This means I will need to get enhancements for my character, and they should help me level faster.
  7. I would like to find a Radiation Melee/Fire Aura Brute leveling build. I’ve found several that are maxed out including IOs. The problem with them is they aren’t designed for getting to level 50. A prime example is they are missing Consume (FA) which really helps at lower levels with endurance recovery. Thank you.
  8. I have also received this bug while performing the safeguard bank missions. The first time I noticed that one of the enemies was defeated by the PPD instead of by me is during the Talos mayhem mission.
  9. A few times while running bank missions, I'll occasionally get the message "Key Found" (from defeating enemies), but I won't get a location (on the map) where the key works or what I'm supposed to do (stop the bombing, stop the heist, etc.). I think I found the problem. I was doing the Talos Island mayhem mission. I found a key to kidnap someone and was escorting them up the hill to the chopper. While doing this, I saw a "Juicer Freak" fighting 3 PPD. After completing the kidnap mission, I came down the hill - the Juicer Freak was defeated by the PPD - and I found a Tank Smasher nearby. I defeated the Tank Smasher and got the "Key Found" message without a location to go to or what that mission is. So I think that the bug is coming when some of the enemies are defeated by the PPD instead of by you.
  10. Since no-one has been in the thread, I thought I'd restart it. I'm looking for a combination that has nice synergy and does what a Tank should do - absorb damage and keep the enemies' attention no matter who else is attacking them. This probably won't be a high-damage set as this Tank is designed for being on a team. A friend of mine recommended /Spines as most of it's attacks are AoE/PBAoE instead of single target. These attacks will help keep the attention of anyone close by. Now what I need is a Primary set that will be highly survivable when jumping into a large group. My friend suggested a set that also has a PBAoE (I think Rad/, although I'm not sure - I should have written it down). I have been working on a Dark/Dark tank, and I'm thinking maybe use that as it also has a PBAoE. Any suggestions for this style of Tank? Any build advice? I know low levels can be rough getting that much attention.
  11. I'm trying to figure out what to get when as I level. I'm currently level 6 and I'm trying to figure out where to go next. Eventually, I'd like to get I currently have Sands of Mu, Black Wand (Origin Bonus) and Nemesis Staff (No Bonus) as part of my attack chain. I don't have a farmer so I can't buy those expensive IO sets even if could use them. The best I can do is SOs (when I get up that high) with the occasional IO. Please help me to level this character - not respec into a good build, just what to pick when and what to slot when. Here are some of my concerns: Dark Armor seems to be more resists and less avoidance to getting hit. Death Shroud - I want it, but getting that much aggro on a team at low level could mean lots of face-plants and debt. Cloak of Darkness - Stealth just doesn't seem to be tank-like. Maybe with Death Shroud, it will give you defense while getting aggro. Shadow Maul - I have Sands of Mu (same power, unslottable) so why bother? Taunt - Once I have Cloak of Darkness and Death Shroud, I shouldn't need this. Here's my current build plan: Hero Plan by Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer 2.6.0.3 https://github.com/ImaginaryDevelopment/imaginary-hero-designer ______________: Level 12 Magic Tanker Primary Power Set: Dark Armor Secondary Power Set: Dark Melee Power Pool: Leaping Hero Profile: ------------ Level 1: Dark Embrace EndRdx(A) Level 1: Shadow Punch Acc(A), Dmg(3), EndRdx(5), RechRdx(7), Acc(9), Dmg(11) Level 2: Smite Acc(A), Dmg(3), EndRdx(5), RechRdx(7), Acc(9), Dmg(11) Level 4: Murky Cloud EndRdx(A) Level 6: Obsidian Shield EndRdx(A) Level 8: Dark Regeneration EndRdx(A) Level 10: Combat Jumping DefBuff(A) Level 12: [Empty] Level 14: [Empty] Level 16: [Empty] Level 18: [Empty] Level 20: [Empty] Level 22: [Empty] Level 24: [Empty] Level 26: [Empty] Level 28: [Empty] Level 30: [Empty] Level 32: [Empty] Level 35: [Empty] Level 38: [Empty] Level 41: [Empty] Level 44: [Empty] Level 47: [Empty] Level 49: [Empty] Level 1: Brawl Acc(A) Level 1: Gauntlet Level 1: Prestige Power Dash Empty(A) Level 1: Prestige Power Slide Run(A) Level 1: Prestige Power Quick Empty(A) Level 1: Prestige Power Rush Empty(A) Level 1: Prestige Power Surge Empty(A) Level 1: Sprint EndRdx(A) Level 2: Rest RechRdx(A) Level 4: Ninja Run Level 2: Swift Run(A) Level 2: Health Heal(A) Level 2: Hurdle Jump(A) Level 2: Stamina EndMod(A) ------------
  12. What was put out about the pets in bodyguard is they have to be close to you (within Supremacy range) and in Defensive/Follow mode - Goto and Stay commands would take them out of bodyguard mode. One thing to be careful with when you start your MM in the Follow button you start with in your Tray is Aggressive/Follow mode. I ALWAYS edit this command and change Aggressive to Defensive. I also edit the Attack button to Defensive also - that way, when their target is defeated, they will return to Defensive/Follow so I will get my bodyguards back. I also believe that if your pets aren't in Defensive/Follow, there will be a delay of 5-10 seconds after you put them in this mode when the Bodyguard function will take effect. One nice thing is that whenever you "zone" (get the loading screen) - your pets are restored to full health and put into Defensive/Follow so the Bodyguard function is active.
  13. You will have this problem a lot with your tier 1 bots. This is because they have few attacks (even when upgraded). When they run out of ranged attacks (those attacks are recharging), they find the only power they have left is Brawl - so they run up to "backhand" the target. Unless you know of a way to turn off their melee attack, you'll have this problem. Also, as a MM, your pets take a portion of the damage you receive when they are in "Defensive - Follow" and they are within Supremacy range. Using the GoTo command takes them out of Follow mode, so they won't take the damage. I have found that I have "Advanced Controls" and "Individual Pet Commands" turned on so I can tell the errant bot to come back.
