Right now speed TF/SFs are all the rage and popular cause many people have jobs and not a lot time to play (or just cause we like speed) As a result mastermind really never really get to use their henchmen in these cause everyone runs to the end or from objective to objective. its faster to just do a dismiss all command then have your henchmen run through a group or 2 then die and agro everything. and then you when do get the end you have a 15+ seconds summoning rebuffing session and then the team just moves on the next objective and it repeats.. most missions its faster to just not use the pets and use just your secondary buffs to help support the team.. It undeniable that is game is to fast for Masterminds to fully show their true power, so I propose a way to keep henchman alive so you can follow the teams speed without having to be resummoning them again and again.. this would make investing in stealth as mastermind more appealing too, cause what good is a stealthy leader with any followers backing them up? lore wise it makes perfect sense too, you would look to your boss and copy how stealthy they are being when told to do be quiet and not fight right??

I forget that was an feature to track, its like we are batman money is our combat attribute so we can track it 💸 this will help me for sure although its not perfect its better then what I was doing before, thanks -

good idea, although I would prolly end up just forgetting I need to be checking my character influence each time I'm about to log out so that excel sheet would end up being wrong after a while.. for non forgetful people this a great solution though! On the other hand the fact that something like is prompting the need to use of an excel sheet is a good indication that a change like this in game would be an great QoL feature to have! -
Ever had that suspicion you had a character with 10s to 100s of millions of influence to help finish up your new characters build not but sure who it would be out of your 30+ characters? Right now you got to log in again and again then check each character and depending on the zone then have to wait a 0-20 seconds each time you log out again which is just a huge drag.. Like the tittle says lets show that info from the character login screen, make it an option to enable not on by default. Here are my meh photoshop skills to mock up what it would look like, there's prolly way better ways to show this its just a concept!

[QoL] Big warning text for T9 crashes, as an option

if you know the remaining cooldown the t9 power has when the crash usually happens each time that's how I tell the crash is happening soon, that icon is much bigger and easier to glance at in the power tray its just a question of knowing if your global recharge modifier will be changing a lot so a t9 lasts about 180 seconds has 1000 second cooldown with 0 recharge after investment the recharge be might around 300 seconds recharge so when you see the recharge for t9 is nearing 2 minutes the crash is going to happen soon, hope that makes sense (300-180 is 120 seconds or 2 minutes between the crash and being able to use the t9 again) I am not against your request at all just giving an alternative method to use in the meantime. I personally don't feel the need for something like this but adding it wouldn't hurt anything since its just an UI accessibility change. -
Attacks like glinting eye/ebon eye are usable in nova form the one key issue is they have an 80 yards range but all other single target nova attacks are 100 yards range This makes them very awkward to use as you feel like you are not using the most of your range just for the sake of one attack. When you also factor in the other 2 single target nova attacks recharge very fast choosing to ignore using the 80 yard eye attack in favor of keeping your high range makes sense. which really just defeats the whole reason of why these eye attacks where made available in nova form. this lower range makes them very unappealing to use and causes annoying scenarios where you attack from 100 yards but then cant do a follow up attack right away. so I suggest just while in nova form these eye attacks have 100 yards range so there is parity with the other 2 single target nova attacks.

my argument is bit different then OPs I guess why would anyone even care if this was added either way if a player is having trouble with a boss they could just buy a different combat summon or just used envenomed dagger or get many temp auto powers the game is already past the point where we should be concerned about a player using money to gain huge temporary power to win. so no player would even take the time ever do this mission. the amount of people that even feel the need to do this mission for combat help is zero START does what this summon could but better with less effort. this mission would done for nostalgia and the badge it gives that's it there is no reason anyone would need this for combat there's just faster options that only need money You have convinced a change like this isn't needed but for way different reasons nothing would change powerwise if this was added it to START, it would just be another summon to be bought that makes nostalgic players mad so better to leave it out just cause it existed in the base game does not mean its a good fit for homecoming, some vet powers were very nice and offered really good QoL some were not the idea that because it was like this in past it needs to be like this now baffles me. START has evolved past the VETS had this in the old game so it needs to be there argument. START 100% offers things to players that VET rewards did by this point it should discussion about if it make for sense for powers like this to be sold not precedent. EDIT: the devs have even acknowledged this by renaming the vendor from its past P2W vendor joke name to a more serious in game lore name. -

my point is if a method for getting something that requires pvp is too costly or annoying to access the devs change the game to meet player needs. getting temp fly was too costly and annoying so they made it easier (bank missions in the past were very hard to find) and PVP IOs were just way to expensive so the game adapted. What I am more interested in because I do not know this answer is what is the power level of the combat summons that are currently sold by START are they comparable to the pvp combat summons or just super outclassed? -

flawed argument PvP IO's were exclusive to PvP but then they weren't. the devs saw most players disliked PVP so much that not enough people engaged with it as a result the market did not have enough PVP IOs to meet demand so they were changed to be global drops. the devs have shown they are willing to make changes if the desire is high enough, they will ignore precedent to do so. The real question is this a change that most players want? -

temp fly used to only be exclusive to sirens call as well as safeguard and mayhem missions and over time that changed now it is available straight from START if a summon did similar damage and had the same utility as an EB summon but wasn't the exact same summon from BB would it be fine? do you take issue with it being the same name and exact powers? or is it the power level of the combat summon you object too? -

hasn't that already begun the second we were allowed to buy combat summons from START? really its a question of the price or if its too cheap that its tempting everyone to do this. but if the cost is prohibitive you aren't going to see people leveling up constantly do this just 50s -
If I feel like a game does not require sound I like to listen to audio books or music while I play and turn game volume off, Glowies are really the only time I feel the need to turn the sound back on so having that be its own slider would be great. I am guessing the work to do this has to be alot otherwise it would already be a thing by now after 4+ years, because others prolly play with no sound as well, but I wanted to bring the idea up anyway has there been any statements on the feasibility of this?

an dislike emoji is a way to show you disagree with a post without having to comment, but a more positive thinking approach would be to upvote a person who shares your point of view in the comments rather then bring someone else's idea down, but both emojis have their place though they help prevent redundant repeat comments. I can see how this emoji can be disheartening but its the best way to show at a glance how people feel about an idea. and even it was banned people would just adopt a new emoji they consider to be representing a downvote and it too would the next target of this emoji is too mean or negative and the cycle repeats. -

I would prefer they have a bubble chat lines when you get close to them over a glowie affect like 5 standard variations of "help me!" or "over here!" text chat bubble lines would be fine. have them repeat the phrase every minute or so it would be thematic too over hostages suddenly glowing -
your statement would be like saying normal rain doesn't make the ground cold and wet but just the air. I mean yeah depending on the floor surface hot flames would have different degrees of affect on the ground, but the devs are never going to code those what Ifs into the game. so it has to be slow or not slow no variables.

I mean to be fair the rain of fire is landing on the ground and that's where you know people walk right? its not a quick burst of heat either but a constant deluge of hot flames raining from above it makes sense to me that constant application of extreme heat in area would slow someone down. thematically it makes sense the ground could be so hot the shoes melt and fuse to the ground and even flesh (yuck) and the heat is so hot in that area there would be so little oxygen that the brains thinking process would begin to become fuzzy thus slowing down reaction times even more.

Sleep is bad because this games content is so easy you would never need to selectively pick off enemies while not damaging the rest whiled teamed. sleep is a longer hold if you have the team coordination or the desire to only fight a few enemies at a time, but like I said that desire is just never warranted because most content in this game is simple. if game content was hard sleep would be of one the best mezzes in the game. I like suggestion 2 the best you could also add the condition the longer they are kept asleep the more damage the wake up hit does, because most time people would just spam sleep and a damage power afterwards, waking up a target right after being slept should do next to no extra damage because you aren't changing playstyle to suit the power just spamming abilities (this way you could avoid giving the wake up damage a cooldown for each mob)

The number of times I am asked to turn off group fly on teams is very frustrating! These people simply forgot they can/should turn it off themselves and demand you take the power off when really you just have it on for your pets. Even though you are in the right here they aren't going to exit the mission mid combat to talk to null the gull so its you that suffers for your teammates forgetfulness. The days of needing group fly for Hamidon is over so having it off by default just make sense and no one likes being moved by group teleport by default. players even get temp fly and at level 2 after the recent patch so this game explicitly encourages using temp powers to fly. The alternative that would work better, but take more effort to implement would be to create 2 versions of the group travel powers group fly, pet fly and group teleport, pet teleport, this way the user of the power has the agency to decide which version is best to use at the time.

so I am trying to scale a certain window only not whole UI but am not able to Identify what this window is called I found these commands here to scale different UIs in the game: https://cityofheroes.fandom.com/wiki/Window_Scale_Guide In short what is this window called and is possible to scale just it with one the commands I linked above? its the window you see after hitting call contact or talking to a contact in person. If I could make the text bigger for that window that would work for me as well too, are either of these options possible? Thanks!

yeah prolly to much ill change it there are -20 res procs, so that's why I said it, I am fine with whatever number it ends up being but I do believe it should be - defense proc
