Obsidius Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I wonder how feasible would it be to add Power Suppression, like what we have in Pocket D, to Icon and Facemaker locations. I find it distracting when I'm trying to make a costume and a player's deamon pets are growling every minute, or a player's Leadership powers are constantly going off, etc. Obsidius Excelsior Server | The Nightwatch NW-738
Purrfekshawn Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 (edited) Switch sound off. You can also make your own base & put tailor there. Edited October 5, 2019 by Purrfekshawn To keep this game safe, We have to give it to the world. Arc ID #13097 - Archvillain Beatdown, try it out! Arc ID #21066 - Archvillain Beatdown - Past Edition! biostem Posted October 5, 2019 Posted October 5, 2019 I tend to save any costumes I like, and I'll frequently go through the process of creating a new character just to the point of creating a costume just so I can save it and use it on a character that I made previously...
Sniktch Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 The base Icon/Facemakers lack one thing that is only available in Pocket D or actual tailors - size scalar and gender changing. Thus, 'just use the base ones' isn't a solid answer, as there are situations where it's flatly impossible to use them for that purpose. Personal preference would be for allowing us to place the 'full service' versions in bases, but there may be hitches in that that aren't immediately apparent, Cities code being Cities code. 1

That's a fair point to the base counterargument. Although I could save costumes and save them later, it adds extra work for a guy who just wants to mess around at Icon without having to worry about screaming daemons every 10 seconds if I want to change size or gender for a particular costume slot. Kistulot Posted November 8, 2019 Posted November 8, 2019 Alternative suggestion: Have you considered adjusting your volume? This game has some VERY annoying sfx, but if you're not needing to hear them, sometimes it can be worth flicking off.

I often lament the lack of bindable in-game slash commands for adjusting the value of voice, SFX, and music...
