Yeah, that's kind of baked into that program a bit.  I default to Firefox, and it still opens in IE.

 

If you go deep-dive into Settings/Control Panel and change all of IE's file associations to Firefox, it'd still trigger.  I already tried.

Knowing IE it would probably install itself just to open what you clicked on LOL

If you are running windows, you can't
