Psi/Bio "all the inf in the world" build

Hi guys, been pondering a few things and I honestly rarely see Psi at all in the forums, let alone a Bio armor pairing so I thought I'd throw together a "I have several billion inf to burn" style build for it and see what you guys thought.

I started leveling one, though stopped at 20. Insight is fun though, I treat is as a second Build-up that randomly pops up on tis own.

I just didn't feel the set did anything out of the ordinary so it was pretty generic. Slow animations, bad starter AoE up to 32, and I was feeling weary just thinking of keeping track of Insight without numbers in order to only use Greater Psi Sword at the very end of it. I ought to ask @Kanil if he tested without GPS and what he got since that would keep the rotation simple and even with Insight simply a random damage boost and not fuss about it. Though it's probably like trying to use Rad and not use Devastating Blow (bad idea).

The set did feel like it hit hard but I was fighting a lot of Clockwork who are weak to psi.

There are a few things I would try to work in your build like a FF proc in TK blow. I'll post mine so you can see if there are ideas you can grab from it.

Change FA for Parasitic or whatever pleases you.

i guess the tag marks me here so i'll reply

the times on strings without GPB i tested after making that pylon post and its actually almost the same. in a sustained damage sense there's actually no reason to use boggle+gpb because of that.

however! the burst damage is very important in a live play situation because chunking bosses is significantly more important than 'sustained' damage so it's something that's very noticeable in live play

That's very interesting. So basically Psi's usual bad times can be placed to blame on GPS and people being eager to see the biggo damage and thus cutting off Insight upkeep.

This is a bit like Kinetic Melee tbh.

Thanks for the sharing of info, Kanil!

Check the Pylon thread. Kanil managed a two minute mark, which is rather okay/above average. We are just so used to TW one minute marks that we sniff at two minutes. It will depend on the AV. Smash/Lethal users have their tales of horror against Marauder.

Went on test, made my variant of the build and did my usual baseline which is Marauder and it had enough damage to outdo AV regen quite nicely not to mention the attack chain is both A) Very basic (it's hitting 4 buttons) and B) much less endurance heavy than TW/Bio. Meaning I wasn't end-crashing without ageless like I was with TW/Bio. Once I got my Agility Paragon in there reckon I could lower the attack chain to 3 buttons (psi-blade, TK blow and Greater Psi Blade) thanks to the amount of recharge the build is rocking.
