Dealing with Mez on /Bio

I notice the set only has limited resistance to mez.  I really noticed it while running an ITF last night, and I had to keep popping break frees when Rom did his rez stun.  I been playing rad/bio and have really enjoyed the "stance dancing" setup that it has.  How do those of you who play it deal with it?  I was planning to tank with him if the situation called for it, and I suppose I can carry break frees if I have to.

Hardened Carapace provides 10.38 Stun and Sleep protection.

Environmental Modification provides 10.38 Hold and Immob. protection

 and 10 KB/KU protection/10000% KB resist.

 

That works out to exactly the standard status protection most sets have.

Everybody needs to get out when Romulus does his rez. The Magnitude of his power is very high. You would need a /Electric Affinity character to cast a Faraday Cage to avoid it

like Seig said, Rommy's stun is a pretty high magnitude, either get out of Line of Sight, or if you have someone with Clarion, make sure they cast it right before he dies.

I believe it is around mag 20.  Doubling up on Clear Mind (@lvl 50) with my Empaths protected even squishies with no Mez protection as far as I can recall.  What's Clarion's initial protection value?

not sure off the top of my head, but I know it's way more than 20.

That's about right, I have done it with 2x /EA stacking 2x Faraday Cages which are mag 10.38 each and the stun is completely negated

Just for, I hope, clearness Psy was answering my question about Clarion I believe, not disagreeing about my guess on his stun mag.

I quoted the wrong person because the statement "Way more than 20" seems to imply he was disagreeing with your guess on the stun mag which was accurate

No worries I think we are all on the same page (now):

Rommy's stun is mag 20, Clarion's protection, at least initially, is well above the 20 needed to protect against the stun and stacking 2 Clear Mind or similar powers is sufficient protect (as will breaking LoS)
