As far as EM goes, i absolutely love it, i made several EM characters to add to the ones i had already that had shelved cause EM was outdated before this update. I'd like to make my tanker into a generalist again so I can play the game content. Is there anyone with a Fire/Staff build that is NOT geared toward farming? I'm already familiar with incarnated and, being an ex farmer, INF is not an issue. I really suck at making builds...

Yeah Rad is one of the resistance sets, you can cap everything but cold. Dark, Electric, and Fire are the other 3 resistance sets. IMO Dark is the best of the resist sets.

Infinitum Posted December 7, 2020 Author Posted December 7, 2020 (edited) I ran my +4/8 ITF test last night with Alpha Infi, and they would eventually get me down to 1/4 health where it would stay - this was a double spawn of Cims. It looks like They will faceplant you fast once they do manage to get past your defense and then it just stops. SRs scaling resist combined with reactive defenses scaling resist just brings the slide to a screeching halt. I let it sit there for 30 min, didn't kill me. I left the room for about 15 more, came back - still alive and the Cims all had barely a sliver of end left. lol they literally wore themselves out hitting me. Edited December 7, 2020 by Infinitum 1

This is my experience as well with my sr/claws BZB. It's an incredibly solid combo even if it can't touch the peak of an sd/nrg tank. Edit: SR/Claws wins on pure sexiness, of course. IS this the "peak" build you are referring to here?

As soon as I can get to a computer I will post detailed level guides to the EM stuff. Did you have trouble opening Infinitum or nova infinitum? Sorry about this also I didn't think about the mids difference.

I’m newer here, and I’ve noticed you’re kind of a big deal here on the forums =P I hope it’s alright that I’ve shot you a quick message, because I’d love your opinion on something. I used to play this game on live, my first 50 being a classic Invuln/SS Tanker. I’m coming back, so I want to pick up where I left off: front lining for my teams! The only difference is: I’m a Dad with a wife and 3 kids now 😂 so my playtime is rather limited. I’ll probably only be able to get on a couple nights a week, so I realistically will probably only get 1-2 heroes to 50. I’ve settled on one: A Dark Melee/Invuln Brute. I just like the synergy of those 2 sets. Since I play with 2 buddies of mine when I get on, the goal for my second hero is to create the ultimate team tanker: Shield Defense just screams that to me, plus it’s something I never played back on live! So my question is, which of these 3 secondaries would you choose to pair with SD: Electric Melee, Savage Melee or Super Strength? I was drawn to both Elec and Savage for the wombos their T9’s have with Shield bash. Both seem like they could be a lot of fun jumping around. But a friend also pointed out the synergy with SS, and how Footstomp is on a much shorter CD. I could shield bash in, and KEEP them down with Footstomp. So I really wanted to pick your brain and see what you felt would be the best combo/secondary for me to invest in =] Sorry for the novel my man!
