MA/SR Scrap w/Synapse's Shock build for Combat Speeds

Hi, 

Messed around with the Synape's Shock after the Mid's Reborn update (thanks!) for a concept I've wanted since seeing Ninja Run. Had a lot of fun playing so I made both my Katana & Claws/SR scrapper with very similar builds (real happy with these). Figured maybe someone looking to do the beast, speedster, or ninja type toon may get an idea so whatever whatever. 

-I'll just shoot a few movement number's. Run: 72.75/Jump 59 or so/ Jump Height 36 ft in combat. Meant & set up to be played with Sprint on at all times.     -These are pre incarnate numbers.-

-With Sprint + Ninja run you get capped Run Speed 92.5 (like super speed if you don't know everything like myself) and 78 Jump speed also capped for Speed.. not height ain't no Super Jump but it does hit 48 ft. 

For an example in combat you can very easily jump from the ground level to third floor over the rail with ease. 

No joke. Not a novelty. You can play video games with this for sure. My incarnate choices are included. Point is to use maybe some slotting ideas to make your own style if so desired.

If you'd like to go with more damage, you could probably go with Musculature Radial (retain the run speed enhamcement), and use a Base Empowerment +Jump Temp Buff to retain your jump speed (lasts for 90 minutes). It's a 20% strength to Jump Speed, so it will improve your Ninja/Beast Run's speed by 20%, which is very helpful.

I did the same thing at one point during live. Right when Stalker's AS/AF was implemented. Just to get from point A to B, with minimal movement suppression, was pretty amazing. Being able to AS the next target, one group over, before losing AF stacks was a lot of fun. Tanks hated me though. Haha!

Thanks for the feedback both of you. I wasn't aware of the + Jump buff. Real glad you commented StrikerFox. A while ago a build caught my interest and I believe it was yours. A katana/sr named Siro as I recall. Anyway it really helped me with where I slot my procs especially when trying to get the io's to put together the build. I used to get a few of the wrong ones lol. Really helped with the visual. Also I did bite your style a little bit tbh so credit where credit is due. 

If I'm honest this is my intentional anti damage character I use to just kung foo large mobs solo at whatever level isn't tedious. I like the animations, usually tab through targets, and be totally inefficient.  Not to be over sharey but I think someone may want to see , at least my attempt, to do the more damage focused whilst keeping the speed nice. Which I will use the jump buff fo sho now that I know about it. For me I'm pretty sure PC Mags gamer of the year 09' is out at this point and bear in mind never played during incarnate, never knew the game shut down, and my first toon was a Fire/kin troller to farm ahhh "hero bucks"... or the money stuff to pay for my melee dps characters. Forgot there name too.

Some things to point out and will be of my opinion: 

- First I was very reluctant to share... see point above. 

- These are all builds 2 or 3 for me. I like the extreme stuff so normally do a 59% m/r/a defense type first to run around in the incarnate area and give no H E double hockey sticks. 

- I don't play a lot of alts pretty much all scrappers so did not consider cost. 

- Not a numbers guy. Mostly search for the set bonus' and move the pieces around to see how things look. I try to round out resistance and whatnot.

- These should serve as examples only. Please do your own thing. 

- Procs, rotation, and things of this nature I'm still trying to work out what's best. 

- No travel skills was part of the deal when making these and tried my best to give options for single slot defense slots intentionally avoiding Elude^^. 

- Radio mission groups that are accepting all levels would be an example of groups I'd join. If tanks are doing the olde LoS pulls that is my preference. Difficult not to run ahead. 

- While these builds I'm not trying to win gamer of the year, but sort of, the rest for sure am. 

- Meant to be fun. The movement in this game is what brought me back to CoH. No other game can compare in this regard. 

- The customization for personal preference is my end game where in other games, not to be spoken of here, are much more linear.

Here's the Katana/Sr where I did try for recharge and use Hasten. I scientifically, by pushing the hasten and waiting to see how long it's down, figure hasten is about 5 secs. off perma. Which is acceptable to me. I put a lot of stock into perma stuff which isn't as high priority for me now.

Revised the Claw/SR build to mimic my newer solo builds that tested pretty well in AE 801.2 +4/8 w/Solo Bosses. Planned on just using the base buffs for leverage. Then added the p2w buffs and tried the same mission/same settings. Test run went 0 deaths 1 hour 10 mins at 77mph. Guess running/jumping around like an idiot can be viable at high level solo. Thanks @Linea.
