Help me with some info on /TA

Hi

Back in the live servers I used to have a Archery/EN blaster which I really enjoyed. Ive been thinking about trying to recreat it it, but goinfg for the thematic full Bow set.
I´d like some selling points on TA to replace the EN though, so please: Give me your Elavator pitch for /TA 🙂

IMO for a hoverblaster/ranged blaster it is the best game in the set.

Lots of utility, personally I take all of the non-arrow powers because they add to speed/regen/revcovery and the holds.

Eagle eye, upshot, agility and gumnastics can be appl;ied effectively to any primary.

Upshot: gives you a full 100% damage buff

Eagle Eye:  More accuracy (great for AOEs) + regen and recovery good enough to let you take Barrier instead of ageless

Agility: A nice plus recharge that frees up slots for other things. + a niuce speed buff

Gymnastics: + Def all making it easier to hit caps and status effect resistance which is all important for a low hit point toon.

The actual arrow powers are diverse so you have a good selection for IO mules to round out your build characteristics.

 

/Temporal is also very good but my  /TA builds seem to come out better.

 

I think the best selling point would be to go over my water/TA build and see how I use it and look over the totals.

Very good set, but no melee attacks whatsoever. Agree with the comments above on the non-arrow powers. Other than Upshot, the non-arrow powers don't need more than the base slot. As far as the arrow powers:

Electrified Net Arrow:  Decent damage for a tier 1 immobilize, plus -fly.

Glue Arrow:  Kinda meh on a blaster. Skippable, but doesn't need more than base slot.

Ice Arrow:  Mag 3 hold with minor DOT. Nothing to stack it with if Archery is your primary, so either skip this or Stunning Arrow.

Flash Arrow:  In addition to the -perception (handy if spawns are close together), I really like this for the -tohit, which is autohit (for critters) and unresistable.

ESD Arrow:  AOE Mag 3 hold with damage to robots. IMO skippable due to acc penalty and short duration.

Wouldn't you try to proc out Ice Arrow for damage (damage procs)?
