Traps/Triage Beacon + Preventive Medicine

Just picked up Triage beacon on my MM to see how well the Preventive Medicine absorb proc would help with my minions survivability.

It doesn't.   Doesn't proc either for me or my minions....  is this working as intended, or a bug?

I think the proc just affects you even if you slot it in a heal ally power. It should fire even if yhe power isn't used. I usually slot mine in Sorcery's spirit ward and it procs regularly.

Hmm, thought it worked on my defender - will do some more testing.

Edit:   I had it in "Wild Bastion" on my Nature Affinity defender - always assumed I was getting double the absorb proc, but maybe not.

Regardless, it isn't even working on me, so I'm guessing at best the beacon itself is receiving the proc - not very useful.

It only procs on you, but it can proc at any time. I have one in my Thugs/traps in triage beacon and the proc chance increases as your health decreases, when I drop to low health it is super common to see it proc up.

As per Paragon Wiki: https://archive.paragonwiki.com/wiki/Preventive_Medicine:_Absorb_Proc

This enhancement has a chance every 5 seconds to give you an absorption barrier. If your health is between 31% and 75%, this power has a 10% chance of triggering. However, if your health is less than 31% there is a 100% chance of triggering. This effect can only trigger once every 90 seconds.

Pretty sure it's a 5% chance between 76% and 99%. I have never seen it proc when at full health.
