I think the invisibility power should work until, at least, I start shooting at an enemy.

If there are any enemies that can still see me, I don't see much difference between stealth and invisibility, then.

And 55ft, fyi, is enough to render you undetectable by the vast majority of foes.  35 ft will let you get close but afaik it's not enough by itself to allow you to remain undetected to anything in game (your basic minion will see you 10ft away).  The link @Uunprovide will go into much greater detail of what might trip you up.

If you can be perceived by other means than sight, then you should be detected, no?

I agree, but if the only difference from invisibility to stealth is dictance ... Then I don't think this power should be called "invisibility",  it would be better if we called "fancy stealth". 😅

If I am running Invisibility and I get right up next to most NPCs they won't be able to see me. The same isn't true for Stealth. This is partly due to how the stealth and perception mechanics work in this game - it's not as simple as "no one can see me" or "everyone can see me."
