Brain Storm salvage drops no longer available?

Hi there, I did a search before to see if there was another topic on this.  It looks like the day job that gives the Brain Storm drop at mission completion is no longer functioning with the updates to zone acceptability.

 

While I love the changes for getting around the zones, I was wondering if the accolade for the Brain Storm drops could be brought back?  Maybe attach them to Intern or Professor?

The Brain Storms on mission completion reward has been moved to the Day Trader/Marketeer Day Jobs, for logging out at Wentworths and the Black Market, replacing the Wentworths/Black Market teleport charges.

How do Brain Storms even work?  Is there a source for them in the modern game besides this day job?  How many Brain Storm Ideas to you get per mission completion?

I've had them just drop (likely as replacement for some other drop, pretty sure not all my characters have the day job that would give them,)  as well as gotten them through super packs. They're not typically a mission complete reward.

 

(If I'm recalling the ratios, 1= random common, 5 = random uncommon, 20 = random rare salvage.)

The super packs are the primary source. With the reduced Winter Packs cost, I’ve spent thousands of them during the Winter event.
