Nexros Posted January 22, 2021 Posted January 22, 2021 I've been working on a themed build and I realized all the fast recharge buff ally abilities have been changed over time to being much less spamy and aoe. Why isn't this the case with Grant Invisibility in the Stealth pool? Just curious, was this just forgotten about or is it intentionally still a 4s CD single target skill for a reason?

(Or that it's considered something that should allow you to skip teammates that don't want it - I tend to hear tanks and brutes complaining if they're given it, for instance.) I suppose stealth would reduce aggro distance... but it is always possible to cancel a buff. I hadn't thought of that though. Still, as a stealthy MM, it's super annoying.

Team Invisibility is the most complained about power I've ever had lol. I imagine Grant Invisibility with AoE might elicit some similar responses. Still, its hard to keep up single target buff these days. I think this would be worth looking into. I have no issues with tracking who actually needs them and keeping it on them (generally. Assuming the person hasn't decided they belong on the other side of the map.) Outrider_01 Posted January 23, 2021 Posted January 23, 2021 Controller numbers Power Defense Rechare/Duration Grant Invise 2.5% 3 sec / 2 mins Group Invise 2.25% 4 minutes / 2 mins Fade 9% 3.5 minutes / 1 min Take your pick, but if you want pure invise it will probably lose defense as the power pool would be superior to Group/Illusion or Fade/Affinity for the duration and not the percentage. Wow, I thought groups invis was better, though I never really play troller. It might make more sense to buff Group Invis simply because the distance between Fade and Group Invis seems odd... So something like: Controller numbers (my change in bold) Power Defense Rechare/Duration Grant Invise 2.5% 3 sec / 2 mins Group Invise 5-9% 4 minutes / 2 mins Fade 9% 3.5 minutes / 1 min That would make a lot more sense to me. That being said I have no idea how to properly balance power sets at all, just an observation. One other thing to note here is that Group Invis is part of a Control set, not a Support set. Pure garbage powers for control set, only tertiary support really and pretty minor....illusion/dark and its 4 powers to slot with LotG "Farming is just more fun in my opinion, beating up hordes of angry cosplayers...." - Coyotedancer
Burk Posted January 24, 2021 Posted January 24, 2021 I doubt Grant Invis will be made AoE just on the basis that it is a pool power. Also, does Fade even have a stealth component? I don't see that in the ingame details. It looks like it just provides defense, ddr, and resistance. From Champion (Hero) and Infinity (Villain), currently playing on Everlasting.
