Bio also adds a toxic damage proc to all of your attacks.

After screwing around with a pistol/bio sentinel for awhile, Sentinels do not have a toxic proc or the -res that other ATs have.  25% raw dmg is there.

I rerolled to pistol/fire after this because more dots.

Not sure what you mean? Do you mean Sentinels don't have Evolving Armor aura with the -res debuff baked in? This is true, they're more similar to Stalkers than to Tankers. But to say they don't have a toxic damage proc from Offensive Adaptation? That's false. Blatantly false.

I checked mids

I checked in game

I checked character reaction

Where is it?  I am seeing 25% dmg, I am seeing +range, I am seeing +perception, I am seeing +tohit on Offensive Adaptions and a few of them outright saying there is no bonus to offensive adaptation.

I am not seeing extra toxic damage anywhere for Sentinels.

Have you checked your combat logs?

The only Toxic damage I am seeing if from Swap Ammo and Gladiators Javelin.  Even asked help channel and they too are saying there is no toxic proc for bio sentinels.

Please make 100% sure and post a screenshot because if I am missing something, id love to know just to minmax.

I'm playing WoW right now, I'm not loading up a character to appease you. Here's the proc info in City of Data.

I don't think it's odd for someone to question what you said when nothing in game, aside from checking combat logs, indicates what you claim.  I thought the same thing when I read what you wrote.  Checked mids, checked the in game description and information, and found nothing.  Maybe it wasn't intended and is technically a bug?  A holdover from the melee sets they didn't have a chance to correct before the game shut down?  Who knows.

If I understand correctly, I believe what @Nightmare Shaman is saying is that the power description is inaccurate, and the power DOESN'T actually add the Toxic damage it's SUPPOSED to.

To clarify, what I was stating was threefold:

1) I did not know bio added a toxic proc.
2) It's not unusual to NOT know this as anyone reading through the power descriptions on both mids and the character creator screen will NOT see any reference to the toxic proc.
3) Thus, I was suggesting maybe the dev's either did not update the power description from the melee sets (on the character creator) because it makes references to other powers that are not included in the sentinel set.  OR, the power was never actually meant to possess a toxic proc and slipped through the cracks before the game shut down.  (Of course this is all complete speculation just trying to understand the reasoning behind it.)

Either way, as I said in earlier replies, bio is clearly the "winner" of the damage buffs with both a 25% increase in damage AND this mysterious toxic proc that only people who've played bio sentinels at least until they possess adaption know about.  I have no dog in the fight.  Just a curiosity because I read through all the descriptions and clearly remember while scrolling through the power selections that FA was the only one that mentions a proc component.

Math time? Math time.

Offensive Adaptation damage is listed as: ((((.8 * minmax(power.base>rechargetime, 0, 20)) + 1.8) * .2) * @StdResult) / power.base>areafactor

In the case of Zapping Bolt: ((((0.8 * 10) + 1.8) * 0.2) * 13.21) / ((11 54030000)

((11 54030000) = 1

((((0.8 * 10) + 1.8) * 0.2) * 13.21) = 25.8916

25.8916 * 80% (pylon resists) = 20.71328

Rerolled my Water/regen to a Water/bio named Solid Sewer Thing.  Feels great for both theme and nice mix of survivability and damage.  And with min FX options and just my arms are glowing a bit.. good times.
