For the Homecoming Fall costume contest, bring your best rendition of something disguised as something else! Is it a wolf in sheep's clothing, or maybe an alien trying to look human? Bring out your Halloween season creativity! As usual, the prizes are MASSIVE! Also be sure to stick around after the contest... Once the treats are handed out there may be tricksters up to no good! When is the contest? October 16th @9pm UTC 9pm UTC is: 10pm UK time 5pm Eastern time 2pm Pacific time Click here to see 9pm UTC in your timezone Where? Echo Plaza on all five shards (Torchbearer, Excelsior, Reunion, Indomitable and Everlasting) All characters can reach Echo Plaza via Pocket D, TUNNEL portals, and the Long Range Teleporter power What are the fabulous prizes? The 4 runner-up costumes on each shard will win: A permanent golden title: Incognito Costume Contest Runner-Up The Fashion Victim Badge 1,000 reward merits 3 Heroes & Villains Super Packs The best costume on each shard will win: A permanent golden title: Incognito Costume Contest Finalist The Fashion Victim Badge 5,000 reward merits 5 Heroes & Villains Super Packs The single best overall costume will win: A permanent golden title: Incognito Costume Contest Winner The Fashion Victim Badge 10,000 reward merits 20 Heroes & Villains Super Packs Costume manipulation wont be considered legitimate in costume contests. Any costume manipulation will be disqualified. It is an issue that will be fixed and isn't allowed on HC. Per the normal Code of Conduct guidelines, any costumes that infringe on other Intellectual Properties cannot be considered and must be disqualified. Also please note that costume contest judging is subjective and everyone's tastes are different. Praetorians can enter the zone through the use of the TUNNEL System, through the Long Range Teleporter during the event or through the Pocket D manhole on the western edge of the Magisterium neighborhood at (-3975.4, 33.9, -196.3) and then through the van on the Hero side. I'm asking about the Praetorian Costume Contest that the Devs scheduled for October 17th, which is distinct from the Incognito Contest the devs scheduled for October 16th. Instead, they will be held four times a year - the dates/themes for which will be announced in advance. The remaining 2021 Costume Contests will be held on the following dates. We would love to incorporate those types of things, but to complete the judging in a timely manner it unfortunately isn’t feasible. So, out of curiosity, what kind of costume manipulation are we talking about? I've always wanted to be able to hand-edit .costume files to get the exact colors I wanted.
