cprice
I was going to try dual blade/dark armor, but I'm almost afraid that the leveling process will be a nightmare. Thoughts?

Nic Mercy
I was going to try dual blade/dark armor, but I'm almost afraid that the leveling process will be a nightmare. Thoughts? I'd say not to be scared so long as you keep a few things in mind: 1) Death Shroud is an expensive toggle in a set with many toggles. It might be best to put this power off until you have access to SO's. 2) Cloak of Fear (if you decided to take it, not all DA users do), is a "sometimes" power, not a toggle to turn on with the rest and leave running at all times (not unless your end recovery can handle it) 3) If you can manage grabbing a Theft of Essence: Chance for +Endurance IO early on, pop that puppy into Dark Regeneration 4) The standard "Slot Panacea/Miracle/Numina uniques into Health and Performance Shifter proc into Stamina asap" applies for nearly every character's end management easement. Cheese Slicer
I had a pure Dark Scrapper back when the game was live. He was a bit of an end hog, but he was so much fun to play as (especially when I started slotting him with IOs).
crkohl
I’ve got a DB/DA at level 20. Endurance is definitely a big issue. I have to rest almost always after larger fights. I think it’ll be much better once I got SO’s in a couple of levels. You have to be smart with your toggles. For example, I’ll take Murky Cloud off if I know I’m not fighting any enemies using those kinds of attacks. Death Shroud is super end heavy, but it’s too cool not to use. However, I take it off sometimes when I know have endurance will be critical. Overall, he’s a ton of fun to play, but yes, endurance is an issue. milkweasel
I had about 50 alts pre-shutdown and my Spine/DA scrapper was by far my favorite. On the road to 50 there will be times when you're starving for endurance and times where you seem to lack resistance, but every set has its limits. When you start building up IO sets to overcome the end heaviness you can turn it into a powerhouse. I was able to solo mobs that gave teams trouble. You can jump into them and watch most of them either stop attacking from fear or stuns and all of them start dropping health as you unload on them. Murcielago
This was my spines/da build, he was definitely an end hog but his AoE was only beat out by Spines/Fire.
