Thrax Posted January 17, 2022 Posted January 17, 2022 I'm strugglin to get s/l def up high enough and still getting relatively close to perma hasten. Anyone have a build laying around by chance?
Thrax Posted January 17, 2022 Author Posted January 17, 2022 Here is a rough first pass. Seen some interesting proc slotting for the rad aoes that I need to intermingle. https://www.midsreborn.com/builds/download.php?uc=1494&c=720&a=1440&f=HEX&dc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
Meknomancer Posted January 18, 2022 Posted January 18, 2022 Requires the ff+rech procs to fire off for hasten. Thrax Posted January 18, 2022 Author Posted January 18, 2022 Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. I always forget to split up the one scrapper set. I'll review more later this evening and compare with what I got rolling. When playing, does hasten come back up fairly often when needed with those procs?
Meknomancer Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Hit enough targets with shockwave it goes off reliably. Fighting single targets focus is more hit and miss but i never noticed a downtime on hasten, for me its more important to have rad therapy up when i need it. I like having one in an aoe and a single target attack for mobs/av killing i don't find ff+rech in aoe's is good enough on tough stuff but in an attack like focus its much better. 1

Thrax Posted January 20, 2022 Author Posted January 20, 2022 Also, the +crit chance fires off in follow up a lot and its before the bigger dps attacks
Thrax Posted January 25, 2022 Author Posted January 25, 2022 Finally got him to 50 this weekend and got him all slotted up. Ran several itfs over the weekend. Ran an apex/tin this evening. He performs really well. He is an end hog but it fills up fine with the heal. Thanks for the build help.
Sovera Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 (edited) I got this one. 40% S/L with Barrier for the last 5%. Energy and S/L resistances at 70% with Barrier for the last 5%. Negative will be at 65% with Barrier. Hasten at 128 seconds with one target in range leaving Beta Decay+FF procs to fill the gap. It still needs some work since I think it has too much endurance recovery considering Radiation Therapy, and I'd also like to quadruple proc Slash since it has no need for recharge or endurance reduction. Meknomancer Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 I like what you both did although i'm unsure about some of the slotting. I hate the way i felt forced to throw 4 kinetics into my boxing just to scrape in the s/l so i could drop down to 40'ish and run barrier but i dislike making builds that force me into a particular destiny thats only good when i'm running at levels that allow me to use it. On Thrax's build i don't see the point of the 6 slotted scrapper set in follow up which i assume is there for the recharge as the other bonuses aren't that helpful, i'd throw in 5 hecatomb and the proc from the scrap set, you'd have the recharge and heca proc for extra damage. On Sovera's i'd still throw in an achilles in beta decay (because why not) or one of the other pieces from siphon insight/analyze weakness/lady grey/shield breaker, its not like end is an issue on rad's and sometimes its interesting just to see what they do (i don't number crunch i just play in game) and i dont understand the kinetic crash in shockwave when you could slot the same force feedback piece and have a movement bonus, when hover doesnt have fly speed slotted its awfully slow unless you have fly and evasive running at the same time, at which point i could see even a rad having end probs.

I hate the way i felt forced to throw 4 kinetics into my boxing just to scrape in the s/l so i could drop down to 40'ish and run barrier but i dislike making builds that force me into a particular destiny thats only good when i'm running at levels that allow me to use it. Oversight, you can do on Shockwave for sure. Good catch. The achiles is already in Slash and since the procs don't stack it does not matter much to have it duplicated. Regardless in a toggle it only checks once every 10 seconds with all the other problems it has like a low % chance to go off because it's an AoE. Same deal with all damage procs. Use the toggle for bonuses or ignore it with just an endurance reduction is what I suggest. You exaggerate a bit on Hover + Evasive Maneuvers being slow, though I'll agree it is subjective. When I said I had 'everything on' I included Evasive Maneuvers and the endurance did not dip lower than 70% after 4 minutes of non stop hitting. If Hover + EM feels slow you can always use the Jump Pack (not to be mistaken by the jetpacks) which increase flying speed. It has a 30 second recharge that is subjected to recharge, so between all the LotGs, global recharge and Hasten it's up every 15-17 seconds which is the time to kill a spawn and move to the next. That said you can click on Fly to move from one group to the next. It's not like in combat you need to bounce around when in the middle of a group. - Simple guide for newcomers. - Money making included among other things. - Tanker Fire Armor: the Turtle, the Allrounder, the Dragon, and compilation of Fire Armor builds. - Tanker Stone Armor: beginner friendly (near) immortal Tanker for leveling/end-game and Stone Armor framework. - Brute Rad/Stone and compilation of Brute Stone Armor builds.
Meknomancer Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Yup i frequently take flight on toons now and i run them with evasive/hover for fly speed but it makes a significant difference slotting just 2 zephyrs in hover or keeping flight toggled on. I have a single toon running hover/fly no evasive and its unreal how much slower it is even just zipping about zones with afterburner on. I only mentioned it because it feels like your glued when you attack something then try to move on to the next mob and having to click fly on and off can be mildly annoying, i end up taking ss+cj on 90% of my toons for travel but thats a holdover from live and i have started to take fly more often but i find myself immob'd a lot more especially low lvl tf's where i don't have access to evasive when i would have cj running and wouldn't even notice. Not a problem on tanks/scraps/brutes but if you go for it on a squishy you quickly start wishing for cj 😛
Thrax Posted January 26, 2022 Author Posted January 26, 2022 I basically have to take cj just because I’m used so used to the movement. I can’t stand hover fighting all though I usually take flight as travel power on all toons.
