smnolimits42 Posted July 6, 2022 Posted July 6, 2022 Alright. So i made a Star Trek Character last night name Captain Trekker. He is a Gravity/Force Fields Controller. I played him to lvl 19 and realized he's not my cup of tea. One of the other players, i was playing with suggested i might try a Sentinel. So, here i am wondering what would work with Beam Rifle ?? It would be neat if Force Fields was also a Sentinel Secondary.
smnolimits42 Posted July 6, 2022 Author Posted July 6, 2022 I think its come down to Energy Aura or Invulnerability ?? Which do you think is more Trekkie ??
Underfyre Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 I mean, is he wearing a red shirt? If yes, I'd go with a resist set and not build defenses, so he dies easy. If not, I'd probably go with Energy, thematically. 1 Sentinel DPS Spreadsheet Sentinel Builds, fifth post down
Marshal_General Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 (edited) Sounds like he is a yellow shirt. If you can justify a set being done by tech, then play what you want, though bio would be hard to tech. Energy is the closest to FF since it puts bubbles around you. Beam/FF should be fine, just go Corruptor instead. 1 - Simple guide for newcomers. - Money making included among other things. - Tanker Fire Armor: the Turtle, the Allrounder, the Dragon, and compilation of Fire Armor builds. - Tanker Stone Armor: beginner friendly (near) immortal Tanker for leveling/end-game and Stone Armor framework. - Brute Rad/Stone and compilation of Brute Stone Armor builds.
ryokoryu Posted June 18, 2023 Posted June 18, 2023 So, funny thing here. Always the red shirt jokes about trek however, while the red-shirts tended to have the most dramatic deaths, when folks went through the episodes gold shirts had the most numerical on-screen deaths. TBF even in ToS red was the security officer color so it makes sense their deaths be more action-focused. 1
Pharce Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 Either Energy or Super Reflexes could be adjusted to look like a personal force field. Or you could go Regen Then every time he does die use the Rez to beam in another one.
