WitchofDread
Do procs actually work in Whirlpool?
WitchofDread
so its worth while loading it up with 6 procs then?

That is a bit of a loaded question - if you are doing it for character concept or just for fun, sure it can be slotted with a decent number of procs and you can enjoy it that way. For any other purpose, I'd say it is not worth the slot investment. WitchofDread
oh? Why is that?
Hedgefund2
Glacier Peak that's Whirlwind that you're showing. Whirlpool takes a LOT of different procs. More than the 6 slots allowed, even.
WitchofDread
That's whirlwind. I'm talking about whirlpool from water Blast.
Hedgefund2
Whirlpool follows pseudopet rules, which are even worse. With a 25 foot radius it has a 15.3% chance to proc with 2 chances to tick (15 second duration). Not where I'd dedicate much slots to procs, especially given other options in WB. Sovera
Whirlpool is a 'rain' power (despite the graphics) and those are notoriously bad for procs. On the other hand they are -perfect- when wanting to six slot sets that -don't- have damage procs since you're not missing out, opposed to, for example, six slotting the same no-damage-proc in Fireball which would fire the proc much more reliably than a 'rain'. Six slotting Artillery for example is a great way to bump ranged defense but since it has no damage proc is a worse option. Rain powers are great to get the best of both worlds. 1 - Simple guide for newcomers. - Money making included among other things. - Tanker Fire Armor: the Turtle, the Allrounder, the Dragon, and compilation of Fire Armor builds. - Tanker Stone Armor: beginner friendly (near) immortal Tanker for leveling/end-game and Stone Armor framework. - Brute Rad/Stone and compilation of Brute Stone Armor builds.
